Hey, great guide, thanks for that. I have a question, does it affect your FPS/Performance by doing your own playlists? Also, if I decide that I do not want the custom playlist anymore, do I simply delete it from the music folder and the “default GW2” music should be back again?

I am not sure if this is normal, but just now I joined a random 8v8 game, we were only 4 players, but I noticed that the 3 players were in the same guild. Two of em were on the red and one on the blue, the blue player just let them cap and recap the points to get Glory. Am I missing something or what is going on?

I find hard to believe that they would actually FIX the horrible performance. Yeah, they might get like 5-10% increase in FPS, but it still means pretty much nothing. They promised the same with RIFT and one year has passed and the game still runs like crap in bigger events.

I would love an option like that. To decrease the mess atleast a bit I put animation on low, it makes it slightly better.

I can’t fire up my client right now, but does it mean that it wont shop up the green circle everytime I want to cast AoE spells?

Hello, so I’ve been wondering if it is possible to somehow make my AoE spells cast right away? Expecially in PvP, I hate to aim it first and click again, it takes time I could spend on something else.

So, I just hit 66 on my thief and I must say, I am bored to death because all I can use are swords and daggers/pistols, there isnt really much variety with Thiefs, do you guys feel the same? This is not a cry post, I am just wondering if you are having fun with your Thief or you feel same way…

It has happened to me too, multiple times, no matter what I am doing sound sometimes go off and on, no idea why.

Crawford I5 2500K has no problem utilizing GTX 690, there is not much improvement even using I7 Ivybridge with GTX 690 over I5 2500K when gaming go check out the benchmarks. Plus it’s custom build underwater PC so i don’t know what you are talking about.

Also just to add about GW2 FPS it looks like a lot of FPS drops are caused by fog effects, at least for me there is something that is causing massive FPS drops when fog effects appear but if i alt tab and alt tab back in the game FPS returns to normal maybe it’s just a bug.

Sorry to quote this, but I am pretty much certain thatt fog effects have HUGE impact on FPS drops, whenever there is a fog effect and I zoom in really close my FPS can drop to 20 really easy, once its gone I am again at steady 60+. I have old GTX 460 1GB with i5 2400.

Lagging even now, I am getting a lil bit tired of this. EU – Ruins of Surmia. Delay about 5-10s.

After few evenings without lag, I am lagging pretty bad again today. EU – Ruins of Surmia.
Pretty much unplayable lag since combat is 10s behind my actual actions.

From what I have observed so far, the biggest hit on FPS is most def shader/animation, when there is a smoke/mortars/whatever AoE, the FPS drops a lot, when I set shader/animation to low the drops are not that bad, but you can feel them.

Running GTX 460 1GB, i5 2400.

I am also trying to fix some of the fps issues and I want to ask, how do I get rid of the tearing when I put v-sync off?

Is this skill challenge bugged or what is going on? Everytime I get there, the NPC is dead, been like that for 3 days.

Aurora Glade unplayable lags, started during in the evening.

Right, I bought the game today and started playing on Aurora glade server, it was all easy and fine during afternoon, but when I logged in now (around 20:00-21:00) I am experiencing UNPLAYABLE lags, I have to wait 5 seconds for my spells to go off. Now, is this normal, should I just transfer to a different server or what is going on?
