yea well, they are killing off 1 server at the time each link reset, the matchups are so kitten unbalanced that you can’t really blame people for giving up, myself included, it is just no fun anymore

same kitten here, any fix in sight?

I wonder if they are so clueless that they just went with “crunching the numbers” and not taking into account stuff like ppl transfering back to the servers they were on before the last link up…also, summer is coming! which we all know that play WvW regularly impacts all servers, however they close to murder low pop servers and well, look at the link ups on both EU and NA, there are a few servers that’s gonna have a bad time, (mine is Gunnar’s) but hey, at least they are trying to do something, it just looks like the ones deciding the link ups aren’t really people that play WvW on either side of the pond regularly….

so they linked up Gunnar’s Hold and Underworld?

seems about right, nothing to be surprised by anymore…

if Anet can determine that they in fact used alt+f4 or Leave the Mists button, just slap them with a deserter debuff like in other games (no idea for how long tho, 15 mins? an hour?), that might deter the lame ones for abit, maybe also have a three/five strike debuff kicking in if they do it repeatedly with a longer debuff

+1, it does not look like they raised the cap a whole lot, but it is definitely affecting skill lag, so many people complaining about it from various places around (in my case) Europe.

how about you atleast increase the radius and/or increase the damage on it now that it does’nt pull?

both those stats atm are, well, underwhelming…

same problems, seems alot of people have lag atm, we were about to scrim against a guild from the Drakkar Lake server (I’m on Gunnar’s hold) but basically at the same time half our guild DCed and also the Drakkar guild lost like 10-12 people, something is def. fishy atm

Aurora Glade or Gunnar’s Hold would be my suggestion, both servers host alot of roamers

Telia aren’t throttling the service for all their customers, there are different customer levels, and some customers simply pay more for a better service

lol yea, the most of us only gets the lag problems at prime time, you can all phone Telia in your specific country, and ask them about it, and you will get some interesting answers, if you press them hard enough…

hint, it is not Telias “fault” as much as Anet or NcSoft really that have to step up.

GG Anet, the lags and Dc’s started about 20 mins ago, and now I can’t even connect to the login server…guess I’ll be back in about 2 hours…

yea, between 18.00-21.00pm UK time, it’s near impossible to even get past the login server at times, and you get stuck in the loop trying to connect to anything really…

good thing you got an answer to this gamebreaking bug within 13 mins, wish you would expand your forum expertise to other forums aswell, Gaile

in the green corner this week we have Augury Rock, with an impressive display of sudden inability to score points, surely they will be the winner just in time for the third season, and drop down to T2?

also in the green corner we have the server Far Shiverpeaks that most probably started off all the cheating (according to rumours, there are ofc no proof to this outragous accusation!)

They have in an absolutley impressive display of “fair game” way of playing, managed to drop an estimated 2 spots down to 9th place, but will it be enough?

It will come down to the wire, but my money will be on FSP to manage to get that coveted T2 nightcapping victory they so very well deserve, unless Piken Square somehow manage to score alot of points in the last few hours left of this week to pass them and qualify for T1.

That is, if Anet goes strictly by the Glicko ranking, but we will see, it will of course be a very interesting reset during the start of season 3, with the headstart of Archeage and all, which servers will lose the most players? place your bets!

You also assume a lot. Night cappers as you call them are people playing in their prime time. Sorry but not everyone lives and plays at the same time as you. So in your book anyone who plays at a different time then you is a night capper and therefore no good. Secondly, you assume I don’t play the game as others do, I play the game exactly as others do. In fact the ONLY part I do not play is GvG that’s the only part that doesn’t fit my play style. And I might add GvG isn’t even part of the game as Anet never added that t the game.
I kill dollies, build gollies, take camps, map hop, I cap towers/keeps, I defend towers/keeps, I kill enemy players, I command with my tag, I use ts to communicate with others on my server, I am an active member of my server (ask on my server most will know who I am and my guild), just as any primetimer there is and as others play…so I fail to see how it is I don’t play as you or others or primetimers play.
I do not zerg bust, meta build teams or require my guildies to do so…perhaps you do and this maybe where we differ in playstyles. Also I might point out I am playing the game pretty much as designed by Anet, and with the inclusion of others rather than the exclusion of others. It is my game I payed for it. So still I say hate the game not the player.

of course it is your game, and you have every right to play it as anyone else, not disputing that…

But aren’t most of you guys Americans, that chose to play on EU servers instead of NA, not really because you had to, instead you made the distinct choice to play here for what reason again?

Since we are a NA guild on a EU server yeah..we are the night crew. So umm what was your point again?

is’nt that the reason tho, to avoid facing the mindnumbingly boring playstyle that are “the German way”, is to join the server and instead get to fight other guilds and not blobs on the enemy servers?

I see your point, and you are correct, the rewards are not exclusive, to me it just feels like they are handing out extra tickets to smooth over the problems that still are existing from season 1 no less, and hope that the complaints will die down.

I am all for that maybe people should be rewarded for the problems, but why everyone? I got my chest (both season 1 and 2), I don’t really see the reason why I should get extra tickets for something that was not a problem for me atleast, (yeah yeah I could destroy the extra ones)the ones that still wait for season 1 chest should get a precursor almost, or gems or something you can put a value on.

What I meant was, that if Anet wanted to reward (for lack of a better word) players for the hoopla with the chests not being granted to everyone, why do they reward us in the same currency?

I find it odd and not fair towards the servers/players that actually did the work to place somewhere in the rankings, not necessarily the top servers in every league

so basically every server now got the mistforge weapon, right? they could’nt give out gems or something instead if they were to “reward” the playerbase for being subject to another beta test, making alot of servers (not really mine tho, came in second) hard work get diluted this way?

the update rate is not even up to sub-par from this company, not just on this particular subject, but as a whole.

The live streams are a nice feature, but most of it is just fluff and spins on what they “might have hoped to promise that might happen if we are lucky and nothing unforseeable happens”…
