I logged in, and all my guild chat things are missing, I am in a guild..but when I type something in /g ..nothing appears, Im getting no messages from any of my guilds, nothing in map chat or social chat eaither… I tried logging in and out.

I keep trying to die durring a group but they keep reviving me lol

However, I just did H&M with a friend last night. I’d swear nothing ever hit me, and I used the branch for two of the three air phases, and still did not get the achieve. I’m going to have to resort to going with a group that lets me deliberately die before the rocks fly so I can sit in the peanut gallery safe from rocks.

Thats what im going to have to do shame there isnt a retry option for the fight ((or is there?))

Ive tried this achievement at least 20 times at this point… I get to the third phase and get hit EVERY time…. why is this such a pain?!

I know what most of yall will say and just cheese it, get someone to do it and I die before the flight phase…id love to do that, but unfortunately I cant find people to let me chill out while they kill a dragon.
I heard there was something about a branch but Ive never landed on it dispite trying many of times.

Any useful advice? I fly as far away from him as I can to avoid the rocks, but I gatta stay semi-close so I can still hit updrafts, etc… its a catch 22, gatta be close and far, and stay in the air while avoiding so much stuff in the air… its the last achivement I need for HoT story too >.<

Okay good, I dunno how long it had been posted, I rarely read the news about stuff, thanks for the reply.

I read in the notes that the Home Instance Pack thing is supose to return to the gem store at a 20% discount, if I read that correctly, did I happen to miss it or is it not out yet? Id like to get a max’d out guild home, but that seems abit to expensive for me, so baby steps.

Hello everyone, Im haveing problems choosing who I want to be my main character…

Im currently running a Ranger as my main, because thats what I played in GW1, but i dont know…they dont seem to have the same impact they did in GW1 anymore…

What would yall consider being a good main for Raiding, Soloing Story, and alittle WvW?

Hello everyone, Im trying to find a good build to use for… mostly PvE/PvM..whatever peopel are calling it now… if it also doubles for raiding, then that would be amazeing, but right now PvX… what would be recomended?

As the name implys, I am looking for a guild that does PvP a fair amount of the time, I do rather enjoy doing PvP, I think its a fun thing if the matchs are good, but Pug groups rarely are… and considering alot of the new legendarys require PvP/WvW I would like a guild that specailizes in PvP to do it with to increase chances of victory, or atleast have people to talk too while playing.

I cant do that Jumping Puzzle to get two of the Falling Hope Achivements.
Zephyr’s Leap and Zephyr’s Ascent

I tried doing them on my own, I can only get about halfway before the fall of death. If I could get a mesmers assistant who can complete those dreaded jumps. Message me in game if your able to help.

1. (Item) I think would help the game a bit. Currently you can buy an extra bag slot pur character, but it only unlocks for that one single person, I think they should change it to make maybe like a “once pur account” type deal a Account Wide, bag slot extension, for about 1000 gems,(giving 1 extension slot is 400g, 1000g would be a decent price for an account-wide verson, 1 time use) There is alot of content out that provides a large number of drops, such as Silverwastes, DryTop, Chest Farming, Boss Farming, ect. You get alot of items such as “Heirloom Seed Pouches” I have over half a stack, and you cant open them without stopping, selling, repeat, the extra bag slot for accounts would help improve the opening time.

2. (Feature) I would like to see a massive salvage option, doing all those farming leaves you with alot of rares, I think they should make a tab where you can place your salvage kit into the top slot (designed for only slavage kits, or slavge-matics) then drag your items into the tab, once you have all the items in the box (assumeing you have enough charges on your slavage kit) It automatically salvages all the items in the selected tab.

3. (Feature) Another Idea I had is something that to me would be useful, for Mini Collectors (I love those little things, even in GW1), I buy alot of them from the gemstore, but at times, im just looking for certain ones but others im just looking for something I just dont have yet, I was thinking a option to “Show available”: Shows items you havent unlocked on your account/character. Dyes, Mini, and Skins for weapon/armor for Account, and for Character recipes for your crafting, you click the button and click on recipes in the menu, and it shows you all the ones you can use that you havent gotten yet.

so once a level, okay gives me time to get another mini moto

Does anyone know what day the SAB will close down again? (Tuesday or in another two weeks?) I been slacking on doing the achievements (mainly because I tried out Tribulation mode and that utterly made me want to quit) so im curious to how much time I have left to try and get the achievements in.

Also, are bauble bubbles only 1 once a day pur level?

Trib mode is mostly trail and error in terms of figuring out the path to take, yes.

However, it requires strong reflex’s, pinpoint jumping ability, and speed jumping (running + jumping non-stop without falling) if your unable to do all three of those, you cant do Trib mode..like me…I have i dont know, I cant tolerate patterns of repetitive things.,.it gives me massive migraines and bit of vertigo (dizziness), plus I think I might have a slight case of arthritis to make matters worse..so Trib mode is pretty much impossible for me, I can learn the route just find, just the game doesn’t allow me to do it.

there is aton of random death in Trib mode, too Leve, you touch the ground = death, you touch htis = deaht you pick a flower = death…

Trib mode was only put in I think to make poeple buy the inf. Coin. The only non-sadistic part of Trib mode, is there is a checkpoint within a checkpoint most levels (grab a baloon and hand it to the infant mode cloud and he makes a check point for you)

I am aware it is hardmode, but I figured that like most games the first level is just like wheres what to expect in a small dose, not the entire thing all at once… I checked Dulfys all it really says is dodge roll, but I dont get to land befor im hit by those rocks AoE blow back…ohh one time I did make it to the tree, (past the first two jumps by sheer luck) so I stood still to try and figure out my next time…randomly died.
The AoE on the rocks is much to large imo like most things in this game, the AoE is much to big for what it should be..like fighting the shadows, half of her attacks if you stand just outside the AoE (makeing sure the big toe aint inside the circle) you’d still die.
Plus aside from migraines from the repeating design of the spiketraps … if you have arthritis how you do this? Speed running/turning in mid air/ pinpoint jumping, ect.

So many things I wish to say about Trib. Mode..

I tried doing zone 1 (area 1 world 1..what ever you wanna call it) thinkin “hey the first level shouldnt be that bad right?” -laughs- unless you have very strong reflex’s on jumps and perfect jumping ability Trib mode is impossible…I was at checkpoint 3? I think (took me 3 hours just to get to here and about 70 deaths) every jump you make has a one of those Mario Knock Off rocks that blow you back…I dont see how its possible to get past that, I jumped mid-air got knocked back, landed on the tree and died randomly, (i didnt fall off and there isnt a trap there I just died) I landed and slid off the tree numerous times but sometimes i land in the middle and still sent back. I could have sworn they said this was a game that everyone would play without to much trouble, the last 3-4 “events” they have seems to be more twords … not exactly elitist players…but something among those lines.. for me personally all those kitten wood spike traps all together gives me a migraine

I really hope they do bring the mini back for round 2…I just having so little luck with the fight
(ghosts walking though the light wells, them getting a speed boost around me or so it seems, obstructive view hitting the orbs, the lights disappearing as I throw them, the shadow crash killing me randomly… the shadows spawning ontop of me auto-killing me..ect. You name it it has killed me in that fight, my favorite was the time I had TWO bosses inside there… the wind slinger girl from T1 and Darkness…much fun)

There is no physical way for me to kill her, its impossible…so does ANYONE know?

I been reading the fourms and I noticed a few that said the gauntlet might be back next year, or some of the fights will be added into the game…my question is…after this event is over, will there still be a chance to obtain the dreaded mini? I tried killing her to no avail, so many bugs in the fight, and so much lag, (I don’t lag outside the fight though) …I could list at least 10 things that bugged or glitches out on me during the fight…either way…I want the mini but I don’t see it happening unless there is another chance to obtain it at a later date.

Where do I go fight the gauntlet NPC’s now? I need to go kill the concealed shadows person now that I finnally got geared and enough practice (I got her to half health one attempt)

I know I seen plenty of videos of Warriors killing the final boss of the Gauntlet, but I am horrid at useing it

I use a Rifle/ Greatsword..I can try sword and sheild though (…i need to go buy one :/ first)

I cant strafe is the problem, I dont have the mental cordination to do it, I use a standard mouse and keyboard, I dont have those macro’s any the entire attack buttons on the side of my mouse so I cant use the mouse to rotate camera + my directional movement, while pressing my attack keys, and avoiding the shadow crashs and shadows themselfs all in the procress…and also targeting the boss is a pain sense you have to be in a group to target.
..or at-least I dont do it properly enough to be able to hit someone directly behind me, and still avoid the 1hit-ko attacks

I use the signet, its helped me alot…just not enough to win

Warrior and a Ranger

I will be leveling a mesmer now sense (hopefully) I got two weeks to complete it, Its already level 20 (thanks to the free boost to level 20 from 5,000 achievement points)

Sanity Levels to Date: 30%…. Expected Sanity Levels next week: 10% The following week: -10% + taken away by men in white coats.

I have every other mini so far (minus afew, but i gotten like..nearly a full set) man… gamer OCD man… its some serious stuff

Alright that should be enough time to contemplate going insane over a mini…

@ Optionals, exactly, I love collecting mini’s, though I gave up on the “Gambleing” mini’s (I have worse luck than a black cat on friday the 13ths under a full moon walking though a salt field under a latter of broken glass….) but every mini after that I bought, some times 2 sets for mystic forge upgrades (like the abomination mini)

@ Optionals, same here Opitonal, I dont have ALL the mini’s I missed afew of the x-mas ones because those box’s refused to hand them over, and 2 of the holiday ones (i have the stuff to make them just need the extra parts when x-mas rolls around again)…but from there on, I have them all but it seems that one will forever be a gap in my otherwise pretty set.

Did I enjoy it…no, i think i literally broke out in a rash of frustration (very itchy)… and no I am no better than when I started other than I have seen phase 2 for ~20 seconds before death…. I cant damage her because I cant do straifing (or how ever you spell that word), I can run side-to-side an attack, I can run around and use my bow like I do on my ranger, but I CANT attack behind me, while being crippled, while dodgeing insta-kill clones, being pulled by orbs that CANT be hit by ranged, and avoiding half a room of AoE insta-death….its not physically possible for me

When does the gambit leave? I am curious if I have enough time to level ANOTHER charater to level 80 to try and kill the darkness girl, and have time to gear/get skills/ and all that before it has time to leave, plus learn to play the character.

Exalibur…I have spent 10g on repairs alone, atleast 5g on buying extra tickets, I have leveled and geared a charater to 80 (a warrior sense people said its easier on a warrior), and I cant even get 10% of her health down….

Where do I submit my appiclation…I cant for the live of me beat her, there is WAY to much going on in that fight for a single person fight, I cant attack, kite, avoid AoE, and avoid Crashs, and attack from behind myself, at the same time

Some people provide tips or advice on getting it done Bovinity, I already got the answer to the question I needed though, its just the only mini I will be missing, doesnt seem like theres a way around it so … -shrugs-

Remotely difficult? More like nearly impossible for my case… I dont know how..but I been immobilized during the fight…despite none of the attacks the enemy does causes that

I gave up on it penguin… Its not going to make any difference if I do 100 more times or not, the result will be the same.

Will there be a way to obtain the mini concealing dark boss? It is impossible for me to kill the girl to obtain it normally, I tried many ways, each time something new screws it up.
1. shadows walking though the light wells 2. death for no reason 3. pulled, bombed and bombed (aoe/clone) 4. shadow spawns on top of me resulting in death 5. sometimes it just doesn’t take me into the arena at all as if telling me “your going to fail anyway”

So after 40+ attempts with 0% progress, I giving up on trying to obtain this mini, and I hope there will be an alternative way to do so.

I just had this happen too, apparently if you skip the un-needed boss (sure-fire?) it bugs out, he isnt even a boss in a sense, sense he runs away and gives up, no chest from him either, so no point in him even being there. Kinda a slap to the face to people who do the dungeon and not get the reward

Really… that sucks… the door shouldn’t open in that case…sense on P1 sure-fire is a side-boss, you kill him nothing happens except he runs away …that disappointing.

Does anyone know if I can get a check for my exp and a mail for my tokens? Or get them back kinda messed up you do the work to not get the payment.
