Guild Wars 2

If you don’t fix this lag, you will lose a lot of players especially on the PVP and WvW scene. Just stop adding random stuff in-game and focus on what’s really needed. I’m pretty sure you can talk to Telia and have them fix their nodes or something. This has been ongoing for a few months now, like half a year already. Something needs to be done.

I’ve contacted PLDT and I’m having the same issue as you. Usually around 10am our time, it will start to lag esp in WvW. PLDT told me they can’t do anything about it since it was about online games and I am already so full of their lame excuses and just accepted whatever they were telling me so if this continues, I’d be leaving this ISP and look for something better.

Our ISP has the worst customer service ever since there is really no competition here for ISP so they can just tell us to suck it up and hope it gets better, which never really happened ever. I can really say we’re pretty much kitten up.

Is it my ISP or ANET?

Just a quick question though, does this fix cover the 2k-5k ping in WvW at random times?

My mixed and matched and failed get-up. I don’t know what I was thinking. lol

Just transferred TC a few days ago, I was really amazed on how welcoming and friendly the server is. You’ll get random PM’s and /says of “Welcome to our server!” or “If you guys need anything just tell me.” and “Glad to have you guys fighting alongside with us!”

You’ll never be lonely at Wv3 as they have a server-wide Mumble. You can ask all the stuffs that you want and not get ignored.

The moment I transferred, I hopped on EBG and on their Mumble, I never felt the time passed by as I was having so much fun. It’s not only pure battles going around in Wv3 on this server, there’ll be break times where you can RP with awesome people that will give you a good laugh. Heck, this server made me love the Dolyaks, you’ll know why the moment you guys transferred here.

All in all, me and my guild The Mailed FIST has never regretted transferring here. We’d be glad to have you guys on our new home as well!

I just did this on my Mesmer and it worked. It may say that it is soulbound, however just place it on your bank and your character would be able to wear it since it is going to be account bound now. Just make sure that you use a white light armor headpiece.

I’m playing a Charr now and I’m forcing myself to like it. I’m almost there. LOL

This is the exact same thing that I have. I only had the will to level up my class if it is a Human Race. I tried creating and appreciating other races and somehow I cannot get the feel to it.

I love IOJ’s Wv3 Community, we may be outmanned but we are never outgunned.

I have a Razer Naga Molten Edition, I was able to keybind dodge, swap weapon and acquire/lock/call target there. I did set it to Numpad Mode on Razer Synapse then binded it in-game.

I am feeling that slowness in using a Mesmer after playing a Warrior and a Thief, however once you get to your destination, there is so much fun on what you can do without switching anything. Focus 4 is the only speed boost I have + Blink. That compensates though it’s not enough, I’m still happy with what we have right now. One thing I really do sometimes is to travel with a warhorn specc’d warrior. :P

I’ll never leave IoJ, this is where I’ve started and this is where I’ll stop. The Guilds are organized, we might be outmanned most of the time, however we are never outgunned. It has been proven so many times. We may not be on top, but we fight till the end. Everybody is on the killing fields even the Commanders and the scaled to 80 people.

I had issues with Thieves in WvWvW before and I was really pissed at how fast they can kill me. What I did? I created a Thief and played it till I get all of the skills and discovered their playstyle. Now, I play without fear of seeing a Thief in WvWvW. By the way, thief is a fun class to play. You guys should try it.

My Warrior from IoJ Server!

With this build, it’s really team oriented. My zergmates can escape without any problems due to the specced warhorn + the heals. The opposite zerg may cripple them yet I and a couple of other warriors that share the same spec as mine is there to debuff, +random boons, +heal and grant speed boosts. So we can siege, chase and retreat very quickly. With this build, we are really essential dungeon or Wv3-wise.)

No offense, this build is mediocre against people with half a brain. Unless you’re aiming for a “support” Warrior and not a “carry” Warrior then I guess its workable but there are better ways to “support.”

No offense too but Yojack never mentioned that this is a “support” nor a “carry” build. That’s the good thing about Guild Wars 2, you can be versatile in your own way. Versatility is the way this build should be, you can tank, heal, debuff and deal decent damage all at the same time. After seeing all the positive replies from this thread, you’d suddenly make that kind of impression for this build? Atleast Yojack contributed something for the Warriors out there, what have you done so far?

I’ve been stacking Precision and taking advantages of the crit chance. The fast auto-attack of the axe has been very painful to invaders and mobs as well, not to mention it’s like an AoE normal attack which is good if your CD’s are not up yet. I’ll try to find a better tweak though. One question though, does Precision stack Crit Chance only or does it come with Crit Damage too?

Yojack, you are the best! I’ve been rolling with this build for the past 8 days and it is a blast! I can tank and heal at the same time plus do damage melee or ranged, I’ve switched to axe though and changed the last trait in Arms to Deepstrike to take advantage of the +80 Precision if the signets were not used. Overall, a 10/10 build for warriors. If you have any better suggestions when weilding an axe with your build, I’d gladly appreciate it!

To the players who thought of IoJ to be Tier 1 material, thank you very much! We would try to avoid going back to Tier 2 as much as we can. We had the best fight and we plan to keep that kind of fight every week. I don’t want to state any reasons on why we were the last on the T1 match, all I know is that we fought with all our might. Congrats to SBI and JQ, you guys are really the best of the best.

Good thing I found this thread! I was actually thinking of the same thing but more on the Race and their Armors look. Which would be better for Rangers? My choices were Human and Norm. I’m planning to go Short Bow and Sword/Dagger style.

My thoughts for that is, would the Norm Female having a Short Bow would look like she has a toy in her hands because she might be too big for the Short Bow? No offense to the Norm Rangers out there who rocks. I just want some of your opinions regarding the looks of my future ranger.

Putting add-ons is a big no-no to me. Customizing the Basic User Interface, resizing and placing them to where I am comfortable is acceptable.

Yeah, customizable UI is definitely good. Perhaps an extra Quickbar/Skill Slot for the Razer Naga as an example or SWTOR’s UI Customizations. It makes a character effective on what their roles should be.

Make sure your power supply can handle the upgrade. I am repeating this because it is very important – if it cannot, you whole system can be fried.

Definitely I wish to echo this response dealing with the CPU rather than the GPU. It is possible to have a top of the line graphics card that might be throttled by the CPU, leading to more frustration than is necessary. Also, as others have said, make sure that the PSU is up to the task, and if your graphics card needs its own power feed, make sure the PSU is calibrated for that. Again, I make these notes so you can avoid frustration and have a smooth upgrade.

I’d have to agree here, you also need to have atleast a CPU that is on Par with your GFX Card and an optional 1600MHz – 1866MHz of DDR3 Ram Sticks/ 2 × 2GB.

I’m running HD6790 + Seasonic 520w, works like a charm for a budget setup though.

I’d go for the GTX460 for smooth gaming. You must also have a good Power Supply, minimal of 500w of True Rated PSU. 80+ Bronze of better.

Utterly awesome game! I barely encounter bugs and the thought of playing your character your way makes it feel so stress-free! You can do whatever you want, you can explore the World of Tyria, Battle other realms in WvWvW or do the Story Line. I prefer exploration because I love te scenes that Guild Wars 2 offers to us. Sometimes you don’t expect that there is a good scene/view in this particular area.

I also love the idea of going to everyones starting area and help them out if needed!

Character Creation? Superb! There’s a lot to appreciate yet so little time to post this reply as I’m at work.

I may be overreacting, but it’s just the way it made me feel from the start! There’s the excitement of adventure that never ends(for me).

Overall: 10/10 for me!
