Hah this thread was brought to my attention. Its good stuff. The US greeted us warmly i talked to a lot of people in pm and ts3, very nice guys. MERC and KNT etc. However there was some very hidden ego/kitten with some guilds for sure TW/AGG/TYSM.

On the whole in prime of game and even now US guild was not in top 10 of EU guilds. Some funny stuff how we did not kill anyone outside gvg?. I think we died only to full zone blobs 70-100 man vs average 20, maybe under 10 times all week. Of course TYSM guild claimed to kill us with the rest of zone lol “it was just our guild guys honest”.

Not to mention we had small numbers because server was full. hard to get people transferred over meanwhile running sometimes 12/13 guys upto 22-25.

The EU guilds now are also shadow of former guilds. The game changed very little a few tweaks here and there. But guilds die slowly they recruit bads who they have to train who will never be as good as original people. Maybe VII got better than they was at start. However GH ZDS ST GD all got worse slowly dieing off.

PPT viz is dead now since alot moved to Teso, some french community moved on from gw2. SFR got alot of guilds but is bad server than what it used to be after ANET killed it with free transfers and all the randoms stayed. So maybe the top US server could give them a run now. However in peak and prime SFR 2.0 and viz would eat US best servers alive on PPT. I would even say the top 2 us servers vs Viz or sfr 2.0. in a 2 us vs 1 eu server and eu would of won.

Russian army (xaoc/zds/gf/nugos/sparta) > EU prime > Spanish(SIN/RNV)+SFRJ.

Viz just had massive numbers and very good co-ordination endlessly sucking people from the other french servers to stock up numbers. Training programs like coming off a machine line churning out zombies to use arrow carts or cap camp in some unreal crazy stubborn resolve. I mean really get up now go get someone to punch you in face 10 times as hard as possible or headbutt the wall then ask for more. Reminds me of VIZ. They had one good guild in War Legend. They knew the best way to beat us was to bore us to death and kitten they would. 80 man running into towers, porting away back to spawn. 15 arrow carts on everything. timers to make sure ac dont run out. squads to make sure they hit all bos before every tick. Dieing 1000+ times in lord room but still coming back over and over and over again to banner lord. Then in end saying victory they didn’t get keep/tower we can die happy lol. You also had roleplay leaders who would whip them into a frenzy like Troma making sure there sacrifice of dieing 1000 times over and sitting on AC 24/7 was not in vain.

I did not hate viz cause french that’s stupid we had french in RG. I just could not fathom how they played my brain would not register. So we wanted to fight them at own game PPT with sfr 2.0 and we beat them many weeks in row and almost broke them before ANET broke us.

Was a good idea giving free transfer to the #1 server beating viz for 4 weeks straight.. meaning the people who actually was winning matchup for SFR aka the guilds across the coverage could not get into the zone because of 1000s of new pugs. And the sfr 2.0 pugs who defended great and give awesome info was swamped with all these new people with attitude of “YES im #1 now cause im on #1 server, i pay for game and transfer trolol”.

All of this was to get viz to crack, then see if they would play as guilds etc. not worrying so much about PPT. Which was kinda like asking them if they want to stop breathing.

After all i wonder whats the name of game again?. Shame ANET seemed to forget that.

Well its that time again people been asking so i thought i might as well post. RG disbanded again.. Not really by choice had amazing time playing enjoying game over last 6 weeks and a lot of laughs. I/we did plan to play for few month till other games, probably stop again around March/April.. However my pc melted so cant play on this tincan and real life has come on strong again. About 1/3 of guild will quit again also. However.

The remainder of the guild has formed under new banner and will continue playing. Most likely looking for members. So you should contact Godspeed truestrike, Zumos or Sabull in game.

Anet looks like you did a great job on EOTM if only a little late. But i have not played but it looks to be great looking zone and plays well for killing. So good job on that, now you just need to find a way to channel that into normal wvw. Few pointers probably lack of PPT. Ability to fight all of EU/US if not on same side green/red/blue. Sieging less important/faster if doing it.

Last but not least congrats to Porrt becoming 1 of the 3rd old RG members to get Ultimate Dominator this last week. Along with 1-2 more soon maybe.

The pugs loved me i was renowned for leading them to battle every night i played.. I think i lead pugs one time for trolls. We run 20-30 of guild only every night few hours. As for hunting down bads. Sure you can call best guilds to play the game we fought vs some times at 2-3 guilds at same time bads. Yea they was bads for sure.

I still remember fighting vs people with 3 orbs and having none it was stupid. Guilds would actually be way too hard to kill even if that guild was not so great. When you had 1 orb only it was major difference.

That being said GVG is fairly done for. People saying we will continue. alot of guilds now is all kitten for score on gvgsite avoiding each other. Wont do gvg unless the exact 20 from guild etc. You expect them to do it with big disadvantage?.

Yes the community drove gvg after its creation. However you cant fight game mechanics. Also being a realists to inner guilds kittens makes this even worse. After all the first GVG RG vs sin. Was not even numbers we had about 27 they had 40+ or so but we never cared. However then it was made more official being even numbers, few rules which we know today.

The topic of making a gvg league will not work. Reason i thought about it back when playing. Also raniri from ecl wanted to do it after sfr. Why did it not happen. Alot of guilds dont just run 24/7 gvg they want to bomb zergs. Some of them even like playing points or having a random zerg during day to jump on for some kills. They said 3 leagues for EU / 2 for US. So thats still 9 servers so thats not even close to having 3 closed off servers to make a gvg league on.

Then the issue say RG or x guild go to 1 of the 3 servers but everyone wants to fight them. Then x guild that wants to fight x cant because on same server wanting to fight vs RG. It just dont work. Then add in fact they said all servers will play vs each other once. thats 6 other servers who wont have gvg community on them. One side holding the orbs? lol thats almost impossible and you expect specific guilds to just stand about waiting. Come on naive much.

Not to mention this is even before we get to the overall layout of servers. Top tiers more people bigger zergs/more guilds. The lower tiers where you would want to do this is way more casual and less numbers running around where in t1 is 100-80 man zergs to 20-50 man guilds. There is 2-5 man, soloers. Zergs of 30-50. It would be a massive destabilization of lower tiers. I can guarantee there would be people annoyed because of this and come ruin and interrupt your gvg. You will get trolls messing with the orb buffs.

Yes community needs to hold strong. Hold strong on what a cancer ridden gvg which will slowly annoy people to death. I would rather just shoot it in the head and be done. More hate on anet is required.

Move on or go around using siege and roleplaying like they want or zerging on pug commander. The underdog fighting vs orb buffed zerg. Since same reason kitten orbs was removed has still not been considered to why we putting them back in at basic level.

I wanted you to start using your guilds better. But this was never gonna happen which i don’t need to even write about you can watch liryc 2nd vid vs VIZ when we first fought you. FM MORT WL main viz guilds all running alone 25-30. Die few times then starting to run together from there the dawn of blobing because you could not win by trying to be better as guild. Then the excuse i hear thousands of times how we play for server as collective. Blatant excuse for covering bads to run in 100 man blobs. Que dawn of blobs. RG > Viz guild > viz blobs > deso blob to counter > culling removal took wrong way > game meta > now.

So now by being t2 your legacy is over cause its not special since you cant say you have been in t1 forever!. I did not even need to make sfr 3.0 because i knew one day you would get bored and would never be able to hold t1 forever.

Ironic on day i fold guild and quit 5/7/13 gw2. Is day viz as legacy means nothing thanks for that Anet.

So in the end the great eye ever watchful wins the day. The big bad Sacrx > viz even without doing anything. I wish you well back in t1 next week. Maybe i will get a new account and secretly lead you out of these hard times from t2. Special kiss to META guild always some good laughs. The weekend i stop playing. I get a most happy sight of viz in t2 lol. Making by there own logic just another server regardless of 29 medals. It will show you are 4th not in t1 this week.

No doubt we will get its not tiers anymore bla bla anet screwed us by roll. Well then you would be hypocrites to think you would still be winning if anet did not shaft the best server for guilds+coverage that was sfr 2.0 then anets bright idea to allow free transfers to a server dominating viz and t1.

The 3-4th battle vs viz in them 5 weeks was good effort by Viz with troma roleplay etc. i respect you for that. However after 2nd week i knew it was gonna be impossible to get you out of t1 cause desolation was terrible. plus iron had issues and deso never really worked together as server.

Also it had nothing to do with being french this is totally stupid when i hear that. If anything i loved fight old arborstone before you butchered it to get more zombies on viz. Also Augury was probably one of best servers for running alone, and they did not even speak english and they understood to not follow unlike the other 10+ eu english speaking servers. tempest/ war / wl etc hell even soul reapers running alone. lnm usual blob. There is some underline weird national pride from french on gw2 for sure which is where the so called i hate french crap came from. I just hated viz but you had lnm and other guilds that wanted viz because it was french at #1 just to have it as some pride thing. Maybe secretly they wanted to be on viz i dunno.

Then we had VIZ with your uppity attitude we have best server we play the game different!. But we still have the best players because we are #1 and you believed that so blindly even after we beat you at your own game of campaign not just winning but domination. But then it was no no you had morning coverage.. more hypocritical nonsense when you did exactly the same you just got outdone. Same with blacktide.

Your staying power was the only thing but it was only down to fact you had biggest population on viz to start with numbers in EU. Then most bonded national servers to feed Viz from with the logic from above then you could mold them into being stubborn AC warriors.

My whole point to remove you from t1 was too see there is more to game than just campaign which meant nothing at all. You gained nothing but yet so happy to have terrible server bar 1 guild. As above you held on so tight to fact you was #1 server which made you good was false. The only way for you to see sense was to remove you from it.

Then after that it was just delusion and self denial of viz players we had to endure. This most evident after 5 weeks of domination of viz then free transfers screw SFR that 8-9 guilds leave because we cant get into the zones because of pugs. The old sfr pugs being great doing solid job. but then adding 1000s of leeches just to say look i am on t1 winning server kinda using same crazy logic as viz in way..

However in viz mind and on jol forum it was a great victory we fought back and brought down the evil sauron! so much delusion there was no one even fighting. The sfr had meeting when all guild left to just take 2 weeks chill. But no the big viz propaganda machine was out we won and destroyed sfr!. If anything it was Anet not viz. Add in skill lag when running with 20/25 vs 80 you could not even move. Yet alot of guilds/server thought that was epic cause they killed us at any cost. Where deep down degrading your guild rep forever and internal skill of players.

The Hero of Piken returns home!.

Thanks to JQ who has always been friendly with us including last time we came over. The action is not so great in the time we play it was only for a trip and some chill time before quitting. I wish JQ the best and thanks for having us. Also to TW CHOO for the gvgs. Iron of course for there zone blobs during evenings. We have moved back home to play casual few nights per week before stopping.

FS i wanted elona and BB this week now we stuck with epic fail. GG random fail roll.

Private commander with UI for guild should of been in at start of game and was all told to them. Along with many other things which have since been a major fail.

If true its about time.

How is US t1 now?. Any guilds actually running in 20-30 man or is it all on 1 commander 24/7 60-100 man blobs all week?. Making usual excuse for being bad its not gvg its wvw… From reading first few pages seems fair few guilds interested in some GvG. How are the EU hours?. How is the lag etc?.

Very good fights tonight. I personally was never really a fan of Bull after the blobing crap from t1 and co but now much respect to you guys. Some seriously insane hard fights in our gvg tonight i rank you guys among the top we have faced now. Ever since you started running alone these last 2 weeks has been such a big difference to your guild rep.

That first actual fight was maybe the best GvG match you will ever see. I could not even talk because of lack of breath at end of it.

Also nice of Anet to bring all the PUGs in zone for more lag. As you can see you need to wake up and add GvG to the game like 4 months ago..

Its a joke really in the big picture. A month to fix this. Not to mention this new freeze crash bug put in from new patch with everyone screen freezing. still not fixed. Unable to place siege on towers last 2 nights. This stuff should be hotfixed asap not left for ages. But then what can we expect after AC is still gamebreaking and yet to be fixed.

This from intigo hes banned on forum. But we been on about this maybe 2 weeks.

I think i need to give you some honest informations, like i always try to do. I think the situation is totally new. Let’s analyze the situation:

1) After the last giga call to arms, a lot of people from PvE world came in WvW to farm WXP/Karma, and vanished when Elona came in force
2) This moment made some VS guilds stop or move (i talked about it on previous post)
3) our old Elona friends trained a LOT and, once again, surprised the Vizunians i think
4) instead of training commanders and stay focused, a lot of people changed their mind and became arrogant (really arrogant, not what you said here)

I saw some disgusting sh** like a player saying to a beginner girl: “get out of this serv, you noob, you suck”

and from an other guy, racists sh**: “Get out of Vizunah, you are not french, kitten noob, useless bas***”

This is Vizunah, this? Nah. This is not the serv we made, and the valors and virtue we put in the past.
5) I stopped the game exactly 1 month ago, just after being sure the server was secured. I had to work all days to refrain dramas, solves problems and play a moderator role. Now, a lot of internal dramas come back again, without a “peacekeeper” and it’s growing each day… and this is what makes me the most sad.
6) 90% of our old commanders stopped the game or moved
7) Elona has been underestimate by some of our people, even few GC members. This slap is a return to reality. You changed in well mate.
8) there is still a resistance from dedicated great players

To finish, if we have to loose or fall versus Elona, i will never be sad on this. They NEVER trolled us by the past, never insulted us, always respect. They never cryed, focused on their serv, played the points like us. I would say they are our german version.

If we have to loose, it will be an honor to loose to you, Elona.

The Vizunah you know doesn’t exist anymore. Maybe another new page of the story will open up, one day.

My point I was trying to clarify was that a tactical maneuver (strategic withdraw) is very helpful and useful tool against any situation in which you are not in the state of winning. I wasn’t making a comment on the thieves balance nor am I trying to get into a debate on the subject now but merely trying to teach and explain an extremely useful tactic when playing WvW.

The arrow cart buff needed to be way more like 400% lets say… Killing people in 5-10 seconds is not good enough tbh it should be 2 shot kill.

Just more light shining on Anet the fact they do not care about wvw and have no clue. and B do not play own game. C dont use super ac in tests?.

The game has already gone threw 2 phases of people quitting after original people get bored or stop playing. Then of late a lot of guilds dieing off due to skill lag and bored of game. This is just one part of the final step to hammer in final coffin nail. Since anet dont have any plans to keep the progression of wvw going. Look at the time its taken to get some wvw patches and then the content added with it.

I will say its not just Anet on some of them problems alot of guilds could of just played as guilds in wvw instead of creating massive zergs which anet said the cpus could not handle but you still wanted to play dumb.

Interesting week. thanks to guilds for fights ecl, fear, fury, dius, cntk sloppykiss etc anyone i missed. This tier is too boring for us tho since we run 25 average. Not just only that it seems stale as hell at times of week very hit and miss. i prefer constant action 24/7. i felt at times running around 25-30 min before anything. Roll on the piken haters and butcher bay.

If you can both focus riverside next week that be great. You deffo dont want them getting keeps with 12 super ac like you know they love.

We have the smallest zergs out of this matchup.. RS did have the biggest and they dropped a teir… AR have the biggest out of the 3 realms now in T3.

I was in the Harmonizer team that kept wiping RG in EB last night… we have a few simple strats against RG which im sure u will get wise to as the days go by

U guys r definitley the strongest AR guild right now and that means that the RG tag is getting called out superfast on the map. At which point everyone on Piken wants a piece of u and gravitates to that location. They seem very interested in getting hold of a white charr, apparently he tastes like chicken hmmm…

not sure how u guys will be able to deal with all that extra attention

Basically RS is getting special attention so the Piken zergs r bigger than they usually are at the RG location on the map…

New to piken i guess?. As for these epic strats the key is you gotta make sure you bring whole piken eb zone of 50-60 guys for 12 of us at 1am. Some good action yesterday is nice to finally use skills vs blob at least -garrison 3 ways.

Props to FG and XT who came at us with guild only. Let me know if Piken or BB guilds want GvG this week.

You missed the point i ment it is silly to advertise such thing and not expect problems. Just like not having enough people to do gvg is being scared to fight lol?. This coming from Viz propaganda machine/WL is it not all one? who i offered GvG so many times the leader put me on ignore?. Of course now at last min when they cant even decide zone on Thursday. Also only really playing yesterday since we had a fully arranged gvg with votf not just maybe a one with WL. Now they expect us to have everything ready when they say last night/this morning at 1am this morning to have people on for it when we had not been playing much all week.

The GvG is off. Wl contacted our guild threw member. With more notice it might of happened but tonight we not gonna have maybe even enough people on, some busy tonight going out etc. Also a little rushed after having a GvG yesterday. It sucks for sure since this could be last time to fight them. I will make a post later on this and other subjects. Shame WL could not of done it in the months we was in same tier.

Now with actually announcing it is just even more stupid. Even if we had the people it would just be major interrupted.

This patch is totally epic. Love the culling enjoyed taking down 80+ viz with 20 of us. We was kinda light tonight after no que issues so alot logged till tomorrow. kitten looking forward to it. Anet pulled it off very impressed now for the skill lag that still shows up at times.

One thing is clear now guilds who will have some balls. Since you do not need commander anymore to run as guild.

Thats a really swell job you guys are doing.. Is this the way to offload server lag by having less people on very heavy servers?. Thinking they will go to medium servers etc?. Cause all you doing here is making medium servers to very high, full.

You clearly missing the whole picture with WvW. Some of the lower med servers enjoy the capacity it brings with 0 ques or some smaller guilds move to the medium servers for better action with the size of guild they have 1v1s 5v5s 10man etc. So now offering this you will bring more players/guilds to medium server where they are not wanted and would change said dynamic of server.

There is also higher tier medium servers like SFR #1 EU which dont want more ques in EU primetime with already queues. 5pm gmt till 11pm timezone dont bother. Also t1 is not for all. Some cant handle the heat.

Any of the US guilds who talked to me interested of late now is the time with it being free. Also my favorite Russian comrades come on over!. Macho man Spanish late nighers?? Come on over we have RNV and SIN when not slacking who help push the viz back in offpeak. We could use more serbs/russians who play morning!. Where are you xaoc!. Just give me a message on here or ingame. I can organize to get server medium if any offpeak guilds are interested. We win as it stands but viz will only keep coming back with more offpeak so you will always get action.

Also one things rings totally true with all offpeak guilds regardless. You cant do it alone and cover everything, we have people to play with at them hours.

I would not bother with Desolation even if they need the coverage most. Some guilds have already left DSD, with more planning to leave soon. Mainly from offpeak which leaves IRON votf and GOD. Its in slow decline for death. This is if your looking at the server as whole.

Piken want to be where they are in tiers so they would not want you either. Rest of Medium servers in EU are either dead or dying or happy as they are with smaller scale action and dont want it messed up.

As for US to EU and visa versa there is some small lag its definitely workable around. Mainly noticeable on Ele when we moved to US. If your interested in checking each others play style out i would definitely recommend a trip just to say you tried it.

I should clarify here again that the culling fix will have minimal impact on skill lag. Skill lag happens because the server too busy to process everything that’s happening (e.g. it’s at 100% CPU). The removal of culling addresses issues experienced by the client but those changes don’t really impact the skill lag situation. They are fundamentally different problems that will need different solutions.

You need to sort this asap or removing culling no one will care because no one will be playing. Its seriously bad as it stands in EU t1.

I also don’t believe in coincidences. There was this insane lag exactly same now with the 1 week trial period of the new culling. Now we have the new culling and ever since then there has been skill delay. so 3 weeks -1 month

Also i forgot to add the most important part. Pope Francis said down with the viz last night.
