Thanks Jack, I think I did that when the shared slots came along, and they basically said “tough luck”.
I thought that in the year I was off they might have changed something.. but it doesn’t look like it.
I know it’s an old complaint, and since I’ve been away from the game for almost a year I want to ask:
Since shared inventory slots came along, can we do anything with the extra items we bought with gems? I have four extra permanent airship passes and 3 extra copper-fed salvage thingies.
At least let us exchange them for other passes / utility items. They’re just sitting in the bank, the equivalent of 6400 Gems!!
So, it seems to be fixed, for me at least, for now. Thanks to whoever fixed it. Been 3 days without having to adjust.
I wonder did anyone tried to use 18 slot bags? Or would it shrink anyway. ‘Cause I’m up for anything. It’s already part of my routine; login (or change char) open inv, resize inv. I’ll miss it when it’s gone and be stretching it every day without even notice!
That is if it’s ever fixed. This thread is over one year old!
As for a SW tab in LFG, I don’t think that should be done; rather, I think they should just nerf the kitten chests and get it over with already.
Well, that too. I hate the fact that you can get most stuff in the game by farming gold and then buying, like legendaries. Makes everything boring since all you have to do is farm gold. Then people get burned and leave. Wonder why.

Well, it’s a pain to look for anything besides ‘SW chest farm – bring you shovels’ in lfg main tab. Especially on weekends. Can we get a World Boss tab and since I’m asking a SW tab too? Thanks.
Am I crazy or wasn’t there a suggestions sub-forum?

After a few months of this being broken I thought I’d report it. The inventory goes back to 9 slots across everytime I log in a new char. At this point is part of the daily ritual: login in, resize inv, look at dailies, etc. This is not the first time this happens, it was broken and fixed before.
Anyone knows the dropping odds of these items that drop from world boss’s chests? It seems really hard to get any. Thanks.
Do you think we should destroy blade shards or do you think it will be usable in the future? Besides the back piece that is.

If I fully farm I get 130-150 bags per hour. If I try to save citizens I get 50 bags tops.. what gives? There’s no incentive to save people beyond those milestone bags?
EDIT: My point here is: nobody’s helping the citizens. Best I saw on SFR was 500!! And I saved like 50 myself!

A char left on the airship will be kicked and back at gendarran camp when you log in to him again. Why?

Actually, I think the only activity you can play off daily is Southsun Survival.
I determined the Daily Activity rotation:
Day 1: Crab Toss
Day 2: Sanctum Spirit
Day 3: Southsun Survival
Day 4: Crab Toss
Day 5: Sanctum Spirit
Day 6: Southsun Survival
Day 7: Keg Brawl
(repeat)

I have a lot of ugly clothes and I thought there would a wintersday trader left behind for this stuff, like usual in this kind of events. I can’t find any. is there one?

I want to buy a laptop for my sister to play GW2. She never does WvW, so I need it to run on max (or near-max) graphics on PvE (on zerg farming like invasions).
The budget is around 500 euro / 600 dollar. I don’t need high resolution. Around 1440×900 is enough.

I got the staff Delusion dropped. Funny thing is it let me choose the stats like a former mf weapon. I got it dropped today. The staff, according to the wiki should have zerker stats.

As I get to 500 the list is so long. I know I can check of rarity and crafting level, but it won’t be memorized. Not forever I mean.
Same goes for the tabs on the crafting menu. I wish I could just minimize all the tabs containing weapons recipes (and it stayed memorized) for the list to get smaller and more easy to find stuff.
Peacemaker Scrimm is the vendor accepting CoE tokens and has on sale “Powerful Potion of the Undead Slayer” instead of “Powerful Potion of the Inquest Slayer”. This has been on for months. I personally submitted at least 2 reports on this.
That’s the problem isn’t it? If the path is equal to everyone else, only one needs to actually finish and the other copy the path.
I managed to finish it with a zerker warrior. Axe/mace and rifle. The key is to let plunderers go if they spawn at the same time as other mobs. And the fastest way to lose aggro is to dive in the water left of the left plunderer spawn. The trick is to kill the right plunderer as fast as possible, usually 2-shot and run back (tremor or bolas then eviscerate and double-chop to finish it off). Hope it helps.
I’d love to hear how u do 2hit the runners? I am zerker warri too and need with extreme luck 3-4 hits and normally about 6-7… I know where and when to stand but i totally lack on damage to kill them fast enough… dunno how i should do it. (Might need add that Warri is my 3rd char and I am not that into it… but still its way too few damage even for a proffession noob)
I usually 2-hit with eviscerate fully charged (and it crits) plus double-chop or auto-attack. Mind you I’m using Potion of Outlaw Slaying and Dragon’s Breath Bun. Sometimes tremor + eviscerate does it.
EDIT: first hit only eviscerate damage and traits.

I completed the dungeon several times now.
I think 60-70% of players (casual or not) never completed the dungeon. And I blame it on the final barrage phase.
And I don’t see many people asking for group for it either.

I ran the dungeon about 40 times. Of the three major items I got 2 tonic recipes. I don’t want them to give way the items but do a middle-ground: you can have the luck and get the items or/and get a token for completion. After 30 or so you can trade them for an item.
Now what saddens me is seeing a buddy of mine get a jetpack on our very first run and another on 10th, sold them both for 250g profit. I’m glad for him, just wish I had same luck.

On fractal yesterday (after patch) Mossman won’t let go of me and I had neither the most or lesser toughness of the group (also didn’t hit it first). As an Engineer I wasn’t dealing the most damage.
Please make dungeon runes account bound. If you have more than one char doing dungeons you’ll get double runes occupying double slots.
Also, if you don’t have a use to them you have to vendor it rather then use them on another char.
Inventory search on junk (or gray) and basic (or white) not working. All the others work nicely.
I like to salvage the basic (white) items and filtering them with search would be helpfull.

I think it has to be level 80 and “of rage” (Shaman’s Etched Shard of Rage).
I’m looking for a (semi)hardcore dungeon oriented guild. I’m on Seafarer’s Rest. I have my gw1 guild but I’ll represent yours. It does not necessarily need to be on seafarer’s, any EU will do.
My main is Engineer level 80. Got a warrior level 80 too (and a Mesmer at 60+).

+10 Experience from kills
don’t need recipe and it’s trade-able.
Why should I ditch 400 dungeon tokens for a recipe that make soulbound on acquire potions when I can make powerful potions? Is this a bug?

I got a endless tonic from a PToT. I don’t care to keep it but I thought it would be worth something. I was wrong, it’s account bounded. Why?
In GW1 endless tonics were a collector item (and sell-able).
Potions disappear when you die unlike food. That’s it.
It’s easier: if you get like 50 reports of gold selling on a determined account → ban.
Undead potions won’t work on ghost, I think. There’s a Sigil of Ghost Slaying and other for Undead Slaying. Also, there’s a potion for ghost slaying but you have to buy the recipe with ascalonian tears.
Engineer’s Medkit stow away key doesn’t work in PvE. If you press 6 you get the medkit but if you press it again it doesn’t stow it away like the description says.
Strange that it works on PvP though.
