With the interviews Reyana did, most of all the commanders where from NA.
I know that Nora from far shiverpeaks EU was interviewed, don’t know if another EU commander was interviewed.

But mostly all the commanders say Desert bl looks nice, but its a map not for WvW, mix it in with eotm map.

If anet just changed it back to the old alpine bl maps so people will come back to the game and implement new stuff into the old map, like how the npc’s are, etc.
Because most of all the WvW people don’t like the desert bl map.
It looks good but for a pve map, not for a WvW map.
But anet does things in a different way! first do the things they can change very quickly.

PPK finally they changed to this, they make it look like we ask for this just lately!! we are asking for this since wvw season 1 ended!!
Autoupgrade still in it, but they changed it a bit. Still will be boring not to do any effort to upgrade stuff.

But yeah Anet keep on holding on your pressious desert bl map! hoping to get people back into the game. Nobody likes your desert pve bl map!!

Not playing WvWvW since HoT launched, hating the new bl maps.
Normaly always in bl or in eb, depends on what is going on in the maps.
I don’t know what it is, but it seems like Anet is always doing the opposite of what we want!!
For me to come back to this game/ WvWvW is when the old bl’s are back.
I don’t know why i even bought the expansion!

Anet if you want to make the WvWvW community happy, its simple!
Give us the old borderland maps back, with no auto upgrades and so on.
Just how it was before.
Now people are not playing (taking a break untill old bl maps are back) or only playing so now and then in EB.

But yeah Anet keep on listening to the Pve people who so now and then come into WvWvW and then log out because they dont like it and go to this forum and complain about how WvWvW is and want to see changes!1
I say kitten them, and listen to the dedicated WvWvW players.

in all seriousness, map designs are moving very similar to EoTM style maps, and I don’t think they understand that players that play WvW “full time” are in most cases not the same people that play EoTM’s, to make everyone happy they need to seperate as many similarities between WvW and EoTM’s as possible, when it comes to map design, we see them as 2 different game modes. EoTM is one big K-train (i know it was intended as a solution for queues), while WvW is primarily (excluding a few servers), used as battlefields. EoTM is for rewards/karma/WXP and WvW is for winning can be winning fights or MU’s. It’s starting to feel as though any things being added to WvW now (just like the new maps), should belong to EoTM not WvW.

New maps look beautiful, and they should be very proud of them, but they don’t belong in WvW. Personally I would place them (with a little tweak) into an EoTM rotation and give WvW alpine maps back 25% larger than before with the sentry effect, old waypoint and upgrade system.

I totaly agree with you on this.
Most WvW people now are not playing gw2 (taking break till old map comes back) or are only in eb.

Anet give us our old borerland maps back, make them a little bit bigger and old upgrade system back.
And maybe try to ad the combat style that the guards have in eotm, its looks more realistic.
Don’t give us a map that looks like a pve map (we mostly don’t play that crap).
We love WvW what it was, so dont sqrew it up for us.

Hey Anet,
You guys realy need to improve the server quality, because server lag is getting worse and worse.
I don’t know what you guys did in the past half year, but the lag is worse then before, even when i was on NA server i didn’t had this much llag ( i had only the standard skill lags)
But not this lag what we are having now, people are disconnecting and leaving when we are fighting because of this lag.
Some Borderland you dont have the lag and in the other borders the lag is there.
So please do something about it, and fix this because this is way more important then the expansion.!!!!!

Simple sulotion is to close the 3 lowest rank servers tier 9 is that in EU and let them have a free transfer to the 2 lowest tiers 7 and 8.
And if they want to join higher ranked servers they need to pay gems to transfer to there.
Same you can do with NA servers but they have 1 less tier (8 tiers total).

So if they want to go:
Tier 7 or 8 its free
Tier 5 or 6 its like 600 gems
Tier 3 or 4 its like 1200 gems
Tier 1 or 2 its max gems 1800 gems.

By doing this you will get it a little bit more balanced.
For Pve its not any problem because of the mega servers.

The q system got still some errors.
Like you are in q you are like position 10 and like 1 minute later you are 45 or something like that for no reason at all.
And since this new q system is up more and more people are getting disconnected (dc’ed) from the map. and its not only 1 that got disconnected but more people at once.

About the EU and NA server lag difference there are posted made by people here on the forum about these issue,
they are saying that they got more lag on a EU server, then when they where on a NA server.

What you now got from the chest is like what you get from a dungeon/fractal.
So buff it up to what WvW people can use in WvW.

Maybe its a good idea that Anet makes the black lions chest salvageble.
So if you salvage it you get 3 mithril or so.

People of Sor, TC, FA or another server Tier 1-2-3 there is a French guild looking to join a NA server bg has told them to go to another server to make it more balanced so dont know which guild it is just letting you guys know.
And maybe you allready heard of it.

You can do like this build its a healing build with hammer and staff and soldier rune so shouts will remove conditions.

Golems need no buffs man. That would be to much.

I once posted a thread like this to.
I went from bg [na] to uw [eu] and the skill lag that i had on the eu server was worst then on the na server.
In na we ran with like 70-80 people and on the eu server we ran with 30-40 or so and got the same lag.
And it was worst then on het na server so there are differents between servers most likely.
So dont know if its true, but think there is a differents between higher tier servers then the lower tier servers.

Making it possible to take all the guild buffs with you when you transfer to another server.

Hey guys what do you think of this idea.
You know that if a guild transfer to a other server they will lose all the buffs of the guild.
So is it not possible to make it possible when you transfer to another server that you can take all the buffs with you.
Maybe like someone has registered the guild he will be automaticly the guild owner.
So if he is transfering with the guild to another server, the guild owner gets when he wants to transfer the option to take all the buffs with him to the other server.
So he pays 1800 gems for the transfer he gets another popup do you wish to take all the guild buffs with you, he gets the option yes or no.
If he presses yes he must pay ?? amount of gems to transfer all the guild buffs with him.
So the guild is happy that they have all the buffs and Arena Net is happy they make some extra cash with this option.
If its possible??

You got a warrior at level 80 i see, so you can go with that to make it a shout build.
Use like atleast 2 shouts such as “shake it off”, “For great justice” these 2 got the shortest cooldown. and for the 3 utillity skill i would use stability skill.
If you use a warhorn, the warhorn skills will also remove a condition and turn it into a boon.
Use 6 Superior rune of the soldier on your armor so shouts will remove a condition from you and allies.
And if you then put 30 trait points into tactics you need to choose XII vigorous shouts, so shouts will heal the health that you will get about 1700 health.
They increased this from 1300-1400 to 1700 now.

Hey, you can do like a merge with a couple of servers who are also low on WvW, just try talking to guilds from servers where the population in WvW is bad/low and dropping fast i know that Underworld and Desolation are dropping fast in the rank both lost a lot of WvW player to NA T1.
And look for a medium server and join together on that server.
At this moment transfering to medium server is free. untill the 17th.
So its just a idea.

You know that Anet not will do anything about this, to change the population of a server just based on WvW and Pve.

What i find stupid about this is, the game is called GUILD WARS!! So this means GvG is a big factor then !!!!
So if this is not the main/big factor of this game they need to change the name then.

Never seen that before.
But i have seen that the garisson inner gate waterside on the green bl i think it was.
Is paper gate and not reinforced when the garisson is fully upgraded.

Dont know if they fixed it yet.

just letting you know that we made like 4 omegas and 4 alpha golems to take down a keep and you guys come with a patch.
So after we downloaded the new patch we went back to the borderland where we have made the golems and they where gone, so thanks for that!! So we lost atleast 10 gold by this patch.
But the sieges what the enemie got in there towers/keeps where still there so ? wtf. why are the golems gone!!
The patch came very quickly and could download it very fast so they couldn’t be despawned.
So its nice that you fix the things that were not working correct.
Go and fix this please it causes a lot of money.
So send me the gold back.

Only Slay has the numbers but first they dont play that long together(as far as i know) and second they start playing later.

SLAY is just started in the beginning of august now maybe 4 weeks old.
Some smaller WvW guilds join them because they had the same ideas.
So we are still learning from eachother each day.
And SLAY is Always later on, people got kids and have work and other things to do before they come online.

But what i find strange from AM server is that they put scouts on our teamspeak server to know were we are.
And when we found out that there was a spy on he left.
And the funniest thing AM do also is when they see a enemy with large numbers (30-40) they hop to another map. they will not fight them and they have 60+ atleast.
To bad i saw a lot of loot bags on there side

If you are Always outmanned and you guys are with like 25-30 guys from 1 guild and the enemie server got 60 guys online.
You can wipe them! if you are not doing that you are doing it all wrong then you need to learn more about WvW.
You need to learn about combo fields, using the right builds, staying tight on eachother and using some tactics.
Then your chances of wiping bigger groups then yourself is much higher.
Just go and check some videos on youtube from good guilds like [RG] red guard (disbanded by the way i think) or [HB] Herfolge boldklub (blackgate guild) or [TW] Tempest wolves (sanctum of rall) some examples of guild who can do that.
Ps. don’t know if i writed the guild names correct, so sorry for that.
Or the guild where i am in [SLAY] The Soul Slayers! Its a quite new guild but we are working and training at this moment to achieve those things. (by the way no videos yet on youtube i think).
And we are in the [EU] Underworld server, we ar ranked 17 in EU so.
And we are facing to some higher ranked servers this week Abaddon’s mouth and Miller’s Sound with big blobs on the maps like 70+(full map zerg) and we are managing to wipe them a couple of times, not Always.
