just bought the game and i was reading in the pvp forums and the class forums and basically discovering my preferred class in most mmos is completely crap… should i just refund the game? seems kind of pointless to play if the class i want to play is garbage
No do not listen to those idiots, Thief is not worthless, they are a good class. They are just a little tricky to play but you will learn how to play one after few days or week. I have all class so I know how the class are. Thief is actually strong, the people who said they are not are just idiots that doesnt know how to use Thief/dont even play one at all.

Legendary crafting only takes about a week and earning gold for pre would take about 2 weeks. Not that long. Depends on how well you can make your gold.
If you play all day everyday. But if you can get 1000 gold in 2 weeks how do you do it? Every dungeon patch every day? Then what about the Karma for the oby shards, I know you can get them other ways, but karma is less rng. Then you have the 250 of each T6 mat. Plus the 100g needed for runic stones, and what ever lode stones you might need. Not to.mention the spirit shards needed for the forge items, the need to do world completion, the badges of honour. Yeah. I can see some one getting all that.in 3 weeks………
Sw Event and chest train easy obsidian shards and spirit shard. T6 matt also come along as well with some extra lodestone or core. Dungeon runs. Also if you can flip market while your at it fast gold income. If you do that and play all day then you can finish in 10 to 11 days if not all day then around 3 week.

Maguuma is a good choice. Blackgate or tarnished coast are hard to get in since it is full. Yaks bend is currently on bandwagon so I wouldn’t recommend that since band wagon don’t last long and when it leaves the server often take big hit and loses a lot of players. So best choice is Maguuma. Not to mention Maguuma is one of the top server for skilled roamers and players.

There are role playing back then. Was absent to the game for 2 years break so not sure if it is still around. But I would recommend looking around the major city. Like divinity reach or lions arch.

Im debating on buying a precursor and making a legendary. Ive played GW2 since December of 2012 and have never gotten a drop, nor have my friends. I was just wondering how and where others have gotten their precursors.
Played 607 hours total on all characters got both precursor from trading post. First one was tooth of frostfang for 520g. 2nd one is dawn for 840g. Couldn’t wait for dawn price to drop cut was afraid that it will go up instead so bought it without hesitation. Gave up on toilet long ago. And rng is not my best part but my worst. So ya I’d say if you played that long then buy them from TP. Just keep an eye on the one you want. Like check the TP every 20 to 30 minutes to see 8 price drop.

No those are randomly spawn for each VW runs, so pay attention to map chat, often people will call out when a legendary spawns and what camp it spawns in. I think for every player its different luck, because my last on was Amber and that one i had to go through soo many runs to get the one, but over all they spawn randomly out of blue from what im feeling. So just do SW as it is and keep and eye out for legendary spawn call. So good luck man, hope you get that “The Tormentor” Title. ^.^

As a side question, is there anyway I could get something to wear that Snaff would be proud of, on my engineer? I know I can get T3 Light armor, but was hoping there was something I could do with my medium wearing Engineer.
The only armor from snaff is Zojjia and Kudos which Zojjia is wearing the right arm of Snaff armor and Kudo is wearing the left arm of Snaff, since they were both his students. Oh Snaff was a Elementalist so his armor of at least half of his armor is the light armor.

Well, not the risen. There’s this event where a skritt test subject is able to trick them into thinking he’s one of them with just a scent derived from risen fish oil. The inventor claims that it’d work on any of “the nonsentient ones”.
No link = foe is true as it was proven in Edge of Destiny the book then they somehow blocked the dragon champion mind from the dragons source directly (meaning his link was broken/clog leading to the vast army of Icebrood to turn around and attack the champion itself since its no longer linked and consider a foe.

One thing is that there are other race that have hate for Humans. The leader of Modniir tribe hates the Human for this. Modniir Ulgoth united the Modniir after they were almost brought to extinction 200 years ago by the humans and norn, and then used the Modniir to dominate the Harathi and Tamini tribes. Now, he seeks revenge on those who crushed his ancestors. The hate for Humans are strong across Tyria >.<

I’ve saved up that amount to try and get me a precursor from the toilet. Will I fail hard or is there a chance that I’ll get one and make a profit? What do you guys recommend? I’ve never done this before.

I think it could be a spear weapon. I remember Rytlock was about to stab Kralkatorrik in the heart within the crystal dessert with a spear. But sadly you know how it turn out that the branded minions beat him in the race while showing how usless Logan is, running off to chase his puppy love. =P

Or the 2nd idea i got is The Wrath of Nature. Unique equips that goes onto your weapon set but does not become a weapon yet gives all the stats of a weapon. You will use every part of your body as a weapon. Well warrior are practically deadly foe, why not let them beat the crap out of mobs with their fist, foot, claw, head, elbow, knee, or even body. XD
