You are assuming that is the only way to get into beta. It won’t be. It’s an option. Instead of complaining, why don’t you participate and increase your chances?

I spent 6 years in the military with an above average amount of work each day. I played more video games while on active duty than I have had time for since. Sorry that your lifestyle doesn’t revolve around GW2, but unfortunately for you, it isn’t Anet’s responsibility to design a game that specifically benefits you. Like Ralanost said, play more and increase your chances of a beta invite, and do pushups for being a whiny kitten.

I absolutely second this. Bacon is in fact one of the best foods available and it is a shame that it is not in game. Although I propose that the Legendary weapon be named the Baconator!

You may have bought your laptop this year and that’s fine. The card was released in April 2012. By GPU standards that is old, and like other people have commented, laptops/mobile cards do not have the same power that a desktop/regular GPU will have.

That is your biggest problem right there. A Nvidia GeForce GT 635M is an old low end card. I’m not surprised you are having issues.

Open up a support ticket. I was having freezing issues due to my cpu auto-overclocking. Obviously that is a different issue but the support tech was able to solve it for me.

That being said, careful with the entitled “ANET should change the game for me because I am special” attitude. There are a few hundred thousand people playing this game who are not experiencing issues. If your computer can’t handle it, that isn’t ANET’s fault.

I experimented with 30/20/0/10/10 earlier today, but with d/d (and my gear) it was too glassy. I was getting around 2400-2500 power with might and fury stacks so it might be good for a staff build. I dont have much experience creating my own builds, usually try out other peoples.

I love the jumping puzzle. I have been on both ends of the spectrum, getting camped right at the entrance to, knocked off the beams in the dark room over and over, and been the one at the top doing it to others. I see nothing wrong with this, and when I realize its impossible to complete that day, you know what I do? Something else.

There is a very simple solution to this. Don’t use the waypoints.

I too dual boot Linux and Windows and hope to get a native Linux client. I know that some people have gotten it to run in Wine, but there are also alot of bugs. Sure would be nice if Anet was actually working on this.
