JQ….why do you put arrow carts in the middle of zerg v zerg fights? Thought T1 was suppose to be this awesome zerg v zerg competition but as I command for RISE I can’t help but notice the disorganization from JQ and some SoR zergs. JQ’s logic – put arrow carts in the middle of fights because our skill isn’t enough, scatter everywhere to make us look like a bigger zerg, run away. I’m noticing SoR getting better with their organization so brownie points for you guys, but man was I disappointed at the competition when we xferred to BG.

I think RISE is too good for T1.. We’re all inferior to you guys.

No, for real though. Like real talk. None of this fake talk. I think SoR zergs are way more organized than JQ zergs. SoR are really skilled when it comes to open field fighting. That whole post was more of me bashing on JQ because they throw 4 ACs down before I can get to them just because they want to take advantage of this kitten buff. I’ve yet to see SoR do that which I respect.

This was just one of JQ’s many excuses in order to try and convince people they had the best NA timezone. when clearly they didn’t.

As you can see when they actually need points for a win they still tick around 150-200 during NA times just like usual.

BG has been super strong during Euro times lately. Did they get some Euro guilds as well? I am curious.

Anyone can say that they won a fight on the forums, even if they get smashed repeatedly and focus way too much on one tower leading them to have the lowest PPT for most of the evening (basically AFK’ing and running back inside whenever faced with an even fight).

Has SOR ever imploded? I don’t even want to think about how much it would suck if one or more of our wvw guilds transferred, hopefully all if not most of KN’s guilds stay put for T2’s sake. Last I checked the scores there seems pretty close =/

The only major guild to leave SoR in the past 5 months or so would be ND and that was probably around 5 months ago. They moved to BG because they felt they had no help during Asian primetime (this was before SBI imploded). No other major guilds leaving from SoR since ND is a testament to a very wonderful and welcoming community. Once guilds transfer to SoR they don’t leave. That’s just how it is, and hopefully it will remain that way for a long time.

I hope BG isn’t burning themselves out this week to impress potential transfers

Most likely you guys had 25 other people afk/puzzlejumping/roaming and you simply misjudged the size of the zerg. Pretty sure the limit is somewhere around 100 people.

A-Net should really consider a complete ratings reset every 6 months or so. After awhile it is so hard for servers to switch tiers it just doesn’t make sense. Some servers will never get the chance to prove themselves against higher tier servers unless A-Net manually moves them like what happened with SF. Now SF is doing very well against the tier above them and was never properly rated in the first place due to a bad use of the Glicko system. A ratings reset every 4-6 months will keep things interesting in my opinion.

I don’t think it would be a good idea maybe within a tier apart at most, otherwise it would result in a complete wipe and a bunch of uneven matches which would bore or discourage lots of players. I agree something needs to be done so we get some diverse match ups.

But I just don’t see the point of saying we can blob better than you! I mean I have literally never seen Choo run in groups of less than 30 which has to be awfully boring. I mean sure you guys get those keeps but when it comes down to it it can’t be that much fun running in groups so large that the whole map lags when there’s any fight.

I agree 100 percent with you on the blob against blob. Last night in JQ borderland we were forced to blob up to go against the EMP blob and it was a lagfest. I would say objectively that every server falls victim to this, which makes world vs worlding a bit less fun. Seems like players will do anything to win these days.

Choo talking about blobbing up that must be the most ironic thing i’ve read so far. Considering I have never seen Choo run with groups smaller than 30. Which I asked do you guys run havoc squads at all? I mean seriously I want to know! You can’t say you are forced to blob if you well do it by choice.

I can’t speak for choo but you can ask the same questions to emp or any large guild in jq and get the response your looking for.

You do realize that timezones are broken up into 4 not 2?

Each timezone is around 6 hours long not 12 hours

NA-Oceanic-Asian-Europe. You see how it makes up a 24 hour day?

SoR does the bragging throughout the week when we lead during NA 90% of the time. Anyone with an objective eye can tell you SoR has a much superior NA timezone than JQ does. I do however enjoy your confidence, even though it is not well founded.

Thief is better if you would like to go unnoticed for any reason, and also for escape purposes. Elementalist is better if you actually want to fight multiple people and be able to down someone amid 3-4 other people (mist form finish move).

If you like the play style of stealthing around the map and taking sentries and camps unnoticed with little resistance go thief. If you like the playstyle of running around the map fighting whoever you want and being able to usually get away if it gets tough go Ele

Don’t do anything. I love putting down a well placed static field and cutting a zerg in half. I also like feeling that one person can have a big effect on a fight.

They never have acknowledged it at least on the forums. I gaurentee you won’t see a dev answer anything about skill lag. They’re servers just can’t handle it and they are too cheap to upgrade the servers. Go figure after they made how many million?

I was just involved in a defense of SM against ye ole BG zerg. They got through the first wall so I ran to the gate and was excited to see we had around 8 AC there. I quickly go and pick a superior AC in a safe spot. Next thing I know 8,10,12,14k damage. It was melted in about 3 seconds. It appears to be an elementalist animation. Im not familiar with them, Ive played them but don’t really like them. Is it elementalists that are nearly instantly destroying siege from positions no other class can hit?

Could have been mass ele’s casting dragon tooth. It is the one spell that has no LOS.

I also would like Guild Wars 2 to sport an identify button which you select someone and press identify and it brings up a window with all their base stats, armor, and also their WvW rank. I would love to be able to identify peoples weapons and armor that they are holding/wearing. That would be awesome.

And for the record BG wasn’t “nice” to kain because we were winning. We were nice because they are a amazing server full of upstanding players! It was a pleasure to to have fought them and I’m sure a lot of BG would feel the same. If I remember right the first week Kain was in T2 with us, it wasn’t all cupcakes and rainbows…the difference is the forum trolls were far and few between.

^^^ The BG forum warriors have been insulting SoR since the early days of t2. To sit there and pretend like they don’t have just as many forum warriors as SoR is laughable.
I don’t remember SoR having any issues with SoS/TC in the threads btw.

I think the main underlying factor is that those match up threads had TC in it which turns each troll post into rainbows and unicorns. Also they had mass reporting whenever a troll posted and it would be deleted almost within 5 minutes.

To be honest BG and SoR both have intense forum warriors. Every server does but it depends on how everyone else reacts to these forum warriors that decides whether the match up threads will be bickering back and forth.
