Am I the only one who noticed the pun in the first sentence? Hehehe.
But yeah, I just gave up on the personal story after that. Poor Tibs. He’ll live forever in my heart. And on my back. And as my desktop background. And- gets shot
With nerfed or no rewards, of course.
Basically, you pick part of the story you already did (from the hero panel) and have a choice to repeat it.
Why would anyone do this? Well, I can think of a few examples..
- People who want to edit the GW2 Wiki for parts they’ve already finished.
- People who want to show their friends part of the story they’ve finished.
- People who otherwise want to test something or take screenshots of parts they’ve finished.
- Tybalt <3
The option wouldn’t really hurt anyone, and I doubt it’s hard to implement.
Really doesnt matter that he can kill an entire party with one attack. You are suppose to dodge and or use invulnerbility. Learning basic skills are needed for later encouters in the game.
Some many players use glitches and exploits and never learn to master the basic then complain that x mechanism is to op.
Most people skip content like this saying it’s not worth it to fight x mob. Killing the troll will give you 5-20 silver. Thats like getting a guaranteed t6 mat. The real reason is they lack the skill and choose not to develope the skill and thus have similar problems in other dungeons.
I honestly have more fun with a group of first timers than an experienced because most experinced groups skill so much content and glitch in one form or another.
That could work.. for later dungeons. As someone pointed out, having something like that in the very first available dungeon(’s easy mode) is a horrible idea.
You can make a new character to transmute the start item onto a white/blue item in the bank to make it account bound.
Thank you Logan! But the Queen is in another dungeon!
I dislike this for one simple reason: Having one profession at level 80 does not amount to anything for the other professions.
Just because I have 800 hours in my Warrior doesn’t mean I would be any good on a Guardian. Even more ridiculously, how about I go from 200 hours on Thief to 0 on Engineer/Ranger?
Leveling by crafting, or leeching dungeons, aren’t different, yet those are still in the game.
I’d use the search function, but it seems to be broken… and I haven’t seen this being mentioned recently. I also checked the wiki; there doesn’t seem to be anything about it.
So if you stick around in LA mainly, you’ll notice that asura charge for their gates. (the most common observation is the charr complaining about the extra fee for oversized items).
I would understand being free if they didn’t require energy and only needed minimum maintenence, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. So what gives?
Is it just a case of gameplay and story segregation?
I agree with bri. I invested so much time and money on my ranger, and… nothing. Everything feels so lackluster. Just reroll another class; it’s hopeless cause.
I think it’s an issue of length more than difficulty. There’s no need for each stage to be a marathon..
