Agree with Ynna, it effects other skills that give longer retaliation, but not this signet? thats just baffling…
Specifically, im trying to find the skin of the “PvP Majestic Sword” (Long with no handle guard and real sleek.) But i have no idea where to start looking or even if it exists within a recipe or w/e.
I have to bump this. I’m looking for the exact same sword (PVP Majestic Sword) for PvE use, and its apparently not called “Majestic Sword”.
I found it! i hope atleast :p
I first looked on GW2DB and only the pvp model was showing under “same model as”. Entered it into search, and it was a 3D model of a standard greatsword, but people commenting that it is the wrong 3D image.
So i checked Guildhead and it is called Dawn of Rage
Do you have camera shake on? I don’t get motion sickness myself, but hitting a champion in melee with loads of effects and spells going off, my screen constantly shook and hurt my eyes badly.
Did a quick search as i wasn’t too sure myself. What i found was:
Is affected by healing power. (I used +50 healing power food and the proc went from 473 to 478)
This was with 200 healing power then using the healing power food to see if it scaled.
After reading it up on Gw2Guru, they are under the impression it has a continuous cycle of the 10 seconds counting down, if there are no conditions on when it reaches 0 it just resets and counts back down from 10. Meaning you can get lucky and have it remove a condition immediatly or it can take 10 seconds.
I have been using it for the past 30 levels and it seems to be a random time between 0-10 when the condition has been removed.
When new at level 80 i don’t think that outright saving for a legendary is a good option, unless you are dead set on what you want.
Same for Commander title, unless you extensivly play WvWvW and want to lead a zerg around WvWvW and semi leading them, then that isn’t a very good choice either.
Think maybe best would be to buy some exotics, but that depends on if you can get them with karma or not, crafted gear has different stats to karma gear. So you might not need to spend that much gold on gear if the stuff you want is via karma.
Cultural armor is a choice too if you like the looks, but as above, work on getting full extoics first then maybe worry about your appearance.
You could level up crafting too if you are interested in that.
Buy some dyes you really like the look of too.
Or even convert gold into gems and buy stuff like an extra bag/bank/character slot, or maybe dye pack or a set of mini’s
What is the scaling of the Empower staff skill? i seen the scaling numbers posted around a fair amount but never any mention of Empower, or Tome of Courage Heal Area (if it scales), not the number 5 since thats just a full heal.
Yes it’s the latter, it is same for the signet heal. Infact they share the same timer, so with both you lose 2 conditions every 10 seconds, if your heal isn’t on cooldown.
Also, regarding the signet, the 10 seconds counts continuously even if the heal is on cooldown, it just doesn’t remove a condition, so you can get lucky and have remove a condition 1 second after it comes off cooldown.
If i recall correctly, there was a thread detailing this on GW2Guru not too long ago.
- But even then, it’s suppose to be focused on recharging your Virtues. If you think the Invulnerability is the important part, you’re dead wrong. (The proof is in the fact that a few of you are even complaining that you die while using Renewed Focus)
Well when it states that you become invulnerable but yet you still die in it then it makes you question.
I don’t doubt for a second that its good with a virtues build, i used it in the Mediation bunker build have has 20 points in virtues, it was very good, but there are times when you are in combat and you get low and want to use the invulnerability and the freshly renewed virtues to survive the encounter (happens a lot definding 1v2/3 in tpvp) but if you don’t manage to rid yourself of all conditions before doing so, you can die while casting it, or if you cancel it early to survive it goes on cooldown.
Maybe if it stated that it only makes you immune to direct damage while casting then sure, no problem, but the tooltip just says invulnerable, which would generally mean all forms of damage.
As said, Radiance is a good tree for the 15 point minor trait where Virtue of Justice is reset everytime you kill a foe, which in turn with the 5 point minor triait then blinds mobs around you. Which you can then trait so blinding also gives vulnerability for a bit more damage.
Although you have to be level 40 to acess it.
I often die while casting Renewed Focus.. it makes you immune to incoming damage sure, but if you have conditions on you like burning, poison, bleeding and you use it at low health, then you can die from the dot damage. I actually used to like it too, but i died way too often from casting it in tpvp at low health.
Since then i changed to more support/healing and i love Tome of Courage, someone said the 2 and 3 skills being lack luster i think? near spamable blind on one and protection/regen on the other (which go hand in hand together making the regen more effecitive). Though that might be because i played a fair bit of Holy Paladin in the Voldemort of games here (the one that cannot be named it seems)
Hey, i have 2 webistes that i find useful for these things.
GW2 Database, which i had a look for Power/Precision/Toughness (There is no Vitality with those on there). Clicking on an item you like the look off will most than likely give you a brief description on how to get said item.
The second website, which can be a little more daunting to look at is Dulfy.net Here is a list of the karma vendors and what type of armor gives what stats, though these stats are not as clear cut as stuff like a dungeon set, as they have little bits of the other stats, which isn’t always that bad because just focusing on power, precision and toughness will leave you with a low health pool, so some variety is in order. A dead dps does no dps!
As for crafting, i think its currently around 2 gold or so for each armor peice if you buy everything from Trading Post, if you don’t mind a little farm that can reduce your costs, or get the gold from getting enough karma for the karma peices.
Sorry if this doesn’t make much sense, i think i rambled on a little.
That is the Ebon Vanguard Staff
If you are not sure how to get to it, there is a map and short guide here. Along with all the other cultural and Ebon Vanguard weapons.
Yeah, having that ticked means that the green circle won’t appear anymore and that you only have to press the skill once. It will place the spell at the location where your cursor is, provided it’s within the skill range.
There is a tick box at the bottom of the options menu to allow fast casting, if this is what you mean.
If not, sorry for misunderstanding!
Don’t quote me on this, but i would have thought that when killing and looting a mob you would have to kill the mob with the magic find gear on, instead of equipping before looting. Though i don’t exactly know when loot is level checked etc when killing a mob.
But for chests, you should be able to kill them in your normal gear and then switch to your Magic Find set before opening to chest.
Again, i am not 100% sure on how it works killing mobs, but pretty certain with the chests since they are separate from the actual mob.
I loved Eye of the North and the Norns were my favorite race and well who doesn’t love Jora.
Only level 60, so here is mine in PvP and then in PvE.
I love the staff for Guardian, but it seems not many do on this forum
