Not receiving map completion chest in the 4 new maps needs to be addressed rather quickly. This is preventing your veteran players who have 100% Tyria from the new map rewards.

Solution for wvw – shrink the player cap per map per server. If you shrink this cap it will help balance out all the servers and fight more evenly. Coverage would still be an issue during “off” hours for that server unless you are T1-T2. So not only shrink the cap but also make it dynamic depending on the other servers current population inside wvw. If server X starts to queue members up for maps and server Y and Z does the same it starts loading in people to those maps as long as there are the same amount of people joining from the other servers. If you make the population even regardless of how many players that server is capable of then you will even the playing field.

I know larger population servers would be opposed to this type of limitation but let’s be honest your used to winning because of coverage and population not always because of player skill. Anet needs to allow free transfers for all servers outside of the top 3. Let players spread out to other servers then coverage and populations for wvw would be more in line to what they should be. I think this change would make the new league rankings more enjoyable and not easily predictable.

Great video that highlights nicely where we fell short. I was calling the shots during that fight and when we pushed in and I think (can’t quite remember now) I saw a bunch of TC out in the distance heading into the camp, so I had everyone pull back outside. We fell short with keeping your group in the choke and when you guys rushed out we were dead before we knew it. We are still working on group composition and this helps me understand how we can get there thanks for the feedback everyone. =)

I think my favorite moment of this reset was when we stunlocked an SoS player with 3 flame rams when they ran in front of them.

i think the best moment of the month in this match up is when SoS pushed for CD BL’s hills and got the inner gate down and we were at the back of that gate and they didnt push (they had alot of ppl ) and the reinforcedgates upgrade finished.

Great fights CD on your BL. That was a ton of fun we were working hills for a bit and you guys just kept pouring in. That time up by inner we have about 15-20 inc behind holding us from pushing in. We were setting up a portal and then boom gates upgraded we all had a good laugh.

I’m sorry if I got you SoS guys all in a tissy over my posts last night; I was only posting those screenshots because earlier in the week an SoS player in this very thread from FaTe (whose posts have since been deleted for flaming) did the exact same thing, and I thought it would be fun and in the spirit of healthy competition to return the favor. At the time, when we took SM, we had no idea that CD had hacked anything, and it appeared for all intents and purposes that the SM flip was legit, and that we had ninjaed it before you guys (SoS) could take it back. It was the perfect opportunity for me to post on the forums about it, especially because I told you guys not two hours earlier we’d take it at some point that night at your all’s beach party!

Anyway, we’re outnumbered almost all of the time by either CD or SoS (This morning, one CD guild had more players in our BL than our entire server had in all four maps!), so for us, being able to do anything against you guys is a feat worth celebrating. Don’t take it too seriously.

Your good Dusk we all thought oh man SBI just did what we did to them the other night man they got us good. Then we noticed the color was blue and had a wtf moment in map chat. Then our keep was lost a few minutes later and people were not happy. We don’t mind losing things from legit ways and in all honesty if I was you guys I would of posted some friendly pictures also So no worries we took it all in fun after all the fights just kept pouring in. I have to say that was some of the best fights we have had with both cd and sbi in full force attacking us from all angles.

Friendly competitive talk between servers is something I always enjoy, if we cross a line feel free to pm me in game otherwise lets keep up the great fights!!

So some random hacker on CD takes your castle and keep and now its the whole server’s fault?

Your entire server happily capitalized on the situation. We lost a total of over 3000 supply in less than half an hour from your draining of our lowlands and SM. Pretty sure ‘some random hacker’ did not drain 3000+ supply alone. Also, both servers took advantage of the hackers and took our supply camps and towers while we had to retake our Lowlands, and you were more than happy to assault our homelands repeatedly while the hackers were flipping our keep / castle. From what I’ve seen, you seem very happy with your hacking glitchers and capitalize on their work.

Good going CD.

Edit : You have siege in the SKY. Floating above SM. What?

Couldn’t of said it better myself. However on the flip side the battles tonight were great since SM and our keep was paper it brought both of you out in force. Too bad it took CD hacking for this to happen.

Yeah, that kind of sealed the deal on it. The amount of siege inside of SM was ludicrous, but you benefit by having it untouched, and hardly being on the defensive. We probably have a limited time slot now when SoS is not maxxed on players in Eb, that’s when well have to try and ninja. Its honestly pointless to try and take SM with the pug army and the current AC situation.

This weekend has been nothing but CD and SoS running away open field, either to arrow carts placed in camps or to towers. This is a valid tactic, just not what we looking for. We’ll just avoid this crap like the plague. Winning open field fights is what we do. Trying to win this match up is irrelevant and with this in mind going to do my best to drive zerg away from any kind of tower assault.

The prior match up is much like the previous one with Maguuma, only they seemed to favor pressuring CD over SBI. Sadly anyone who drops down is just going to manhandle the two of us over. CD or SBI wont get a break until one of us drops a tier, not sure how long that’s going to take though.

Hate to break it to you but points are obtained by towers not open field battle. That SM battle could of easily been in your favor if you would of split your zerg three ways and went into each choke at the same time. It’s all about tactics not who’s zerg is bigger when taking towers now.

SOS could say the same about SBI running away from open field during oceanic it’s a numbers game when it’s open field. Unless they get rid of the 5 AOE cap odds are always in the larger zergs favor.

Anet needs to provide a map for only GvG this would better align those who want to play tactically in wvw and those who would rather open field brawl.

I am all for the new AC change because it adds a different play style. Treb from locations you normally wouldn’t ect… The 80 man run up to tower and beast gate down won’t work anymore.

Legendary dyes. Just grind for two months to get mats, buy a precursor dye(The Dye of Justice or something equally stupid) for 734g and throw 500 mystic clovers into the forge to get 2 of the 100 mats you need to get 3 of the 400 mats you need to make the legendary dye you desire!

DOES THAT SOUND LIKE FUN TO YOU?!

I wouldn’t expect dyes to be as hard to obtain, in fact I would propose the idea to do this idea right the first time. Create a scavenger hunt to obtain all the mats needed to craft X dye. I am a big fan of options, so let there be a way to obtain it in the forge maybe an extremely rare chance or doing the scavenger hunt. Maybe even throw an option to buy one for say 200-300 laurels something not too easy to get but yet very obtainable over a course of time.

This is not a post claiming there is nothing to do for end game. I am happy with the current state of the game given it’s not even 1 year old yet. These are just suggestions for adding more end game content.

1. Add time challenges to dungeon runs with bonuses for that group. (I.E. Each day that group holds the record they get some form of a daily reward chest. Resets each week and set time thresholds to minimize possible exploits)

1a. Add a lucky completion time – First group that hits a time of XX:XX get’s a gold each. Only 3 groups per day and resets daily just something fun to add in there.

2. Add 10 player dungeons – I think adding slightly larger dungeons would satisfy those players who are seeking more “epic” content. Players want that epic feel during boss encounters and the conclusion of the dungeon. Boss mechanics can be very difficult and add new custom skins to weapons / armor. But let this dungeon also scale down to allow for a 5 man team to finish. Add precursors to the vendors to turn in the loot for. Maybe 5k tokens or something high enough that’s not too easy to obtain.

3. Add new titles in general and for the above suggestions.

4. Would love to see a new spvp/wvw map with a few different game modes. Attack / Defend, Capture the flag style, team death match. Each can be queued for and within each can have the option to match up gvg or public teams of 5v5, 10v10, 20v20, 30v30.

5. Weekly 1v1 gladiator arena tournaments with rewards like new titles and unique armor/weapon skins for reaching the top 3. Would be awesome to have a big arena where other players can enter to watch but can’t talk in chat.

6. Legendary dye – I think this would be a really cool item to obtain. Say the visual of the dye can be lightly applied to armor. Nothing crazy like fireworks shooting off all around your character. I.E. Legendary Midnight Storm – has a dark look with small streaks of lightning through armor pieces.

These are just some ideas I hope the devs read and just think about, not looking for rants on why or why not. This is a suggestion forum so let’s keep on topic no need to take my suggestions for actual plans but merely food for thought.

I am starting to doubt that siege de-spawns and that flame rams have a different cap. I have not seen any of the siege in SOS lowlands de-spawn. Also I don’t see rams anywhere in the map but we are capped. ANET can you please do something about this, it’s getting rather annoying.

Some of the HoM pets actually have worse stats then the non HoM pets. You can see the spider stats here http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Spider same goes for a few others.

I think this is a great idea!!! This would bring a whole new level of tactics I think is needed to help organize the militia.

This would help more casual players join a commander squad to assist with the war effort.

I love the blue circles to show where my current party members are located. I think it would be a great addition to be able to do one or a combination of the following.

1. Show all guild members as the brown color (same as the text above names) on map/mini map.
2. Have a toggle feature in the roster to select members you would like to see on the map/mini map.
3. Create custom profiles for friend list / guild members as colors of your choosing on the map/mini map.

The real reality is unless anet brings a massive wave of new players, the current stacking for wvw will be addressed by anet in one way or another. Clearly the reset is their hopes to bring wvw back into a balanced state. If that fails something else will happen.

It is important for the players all be able to voice their frustrations/concerns. The only way for anet to understand whats going on here is if the players speak up. JQ I am very disappointed that you keep throwing the “deal with it” attitude out there. The massive players that joined your server should not of been allowed by the mechanics of a “full” server.

It doesn’t matter what one individual says but I garuentee if things play out where there is a lot of negative feedback around wvw for the top tiers (most of the wvw) player base there might be some interesting changes.

I don’t know why it’s JQ’s fault for getting new guilds.
We can’t stop people from transferring, and we definitely can’t make guilds transfer over.
Every T1 server had the same opportunity to appeal to guilds wanting to move up before the end of free transfers.

I think what it comes down to is we all want to win and in doing so JQ could of stated they have enough transfers in their recruitment thread. They kept recruiting because they don’t care about being “sportsmen” it’s a game and they want to win. It’s very unfortunate that JQ now outnumbers both servers majority of the time now. Would of been a rare sight to see a server direct these larger guilds to their “enemies server”. However I blame mostly Anet for allowing the possibility of servers using blackouts in order to exploit the transfers on a full server. JQ isn’t the only one to blame here but clearly they used this mechanic more.

I am so fed up with the support group, I have received an email three times asking for information to unlink my gw1 account and I have responded every time with the same information. I swear they don’t read past the first line and send a generic email back. Can I get some help here, I have had tickets open about this since April when I pre-purchased and was assured I would have this fixed before launch. Here we are two weeks after launch with still no help. Please look into this ticket 120826-001115 because waiting a few days is one thing but bringing this up since April with no help is just ridiculous.
