Never happened to me in pugs before.
Usually bosses will reset if you kick people out of the squad manually during the fight but maybe that won’t work for all of them.
I thought it was only when the instance opener was kicked/left that this happened?
I bet he screwed up which file version went into the auto updater for the Compliant version. :E
I main Reaper.
I love my power reaper so much that i know i need to put it on the shelf for the betterment of the group I run with. And since I am either Pugging, or leading training runs. I file roles that are needed.
and Reaper is just not needed currently.such as it is. we shall see what happens Wednesday
on a side note. I am ludicrously happy that Guild Wars 2 raiding is nothing Like World of Warcraft. but that’s just me. .
So you’re happy that class balance is so crappy that you can’t raid with your main?
What ever flavor that coolaid is let me know so I never buy it by accident when I’m shopping.
I just can not wrap my head around the mentality that a whole subset of the player base accepts that the game is so broken that they gladly play classes they have no insterest in; I’ve had this discussion with other guild members as well.
No one has a good answer.
I was a warrior main. The group I was raiding with struggled to have a regular Chrono but had many warriors. I had no interested previously in playing Chrono at all, I thought open world Mesmer was an awful class. However I decided to give it a go to try to fill a roll in my team that needed to be filled. I learnt how to play it and actually ended up loving the role and the profession… in raids, I still think its awful in open world.
You could give other professions a go and actually find out you might like it in different game mode, just like huge swaths of the community have.
Man i used to love the old moss man swampland fractal for learning a new class on. Dude was a DPS sponge so you got a reasonable amount of time to just keep rolling through your rotations, he moved a bit so gave you some idea of how that would effect things and he had one attack that you still had to keep an eye out to dodge.
There is sort of some president with this idea in terms of the 2 week banker Golems. A limited time service item would not be a totally new thing in principle.
Nope, even if someone has 25 might it will simply overwrite the oldest existing might stack with the new one even if it has a shorter duration.
As it stands in both a 442 and 721 comp the revenant is constantly over buffed by the chronomancer which has lead guilds like qt to not like running a rev since it “wastes quickness and alacrity.”
How does the cap on quickness work in this case?
Is it max duration of quickness that can be applied at any one time? So if you are 2 seconds under your max and you get another 3 seconds applied then you lose 1 second? What is the max for quickness btw?
The cost and being +5 power isn’t the issue for me. It’s for those real hardcore min/maxers, so I’m basically relaxed about the cost. The problem IMO is that its only +5 AR, if it was +7 so you could use the same armour set in high level fractals then it would make far more sense.
I think I read a post recently though where a dev said that they have seen this is an issue and want to do something about it but the fix they designed at first had some very bad outcomes that they weren’t expecting. I got the impression this comes under the banner of “not as easy to fix as it should be”.
Only bugged on one of mine too…
Still annoying though, especially combined with “the ready up for a fractal, bugs out back to lions Arch” bug. :/

Fixed on Deso as well. Thanks.
Had this last night and today on Deso as well. He just spawns minions and you can’t move through the phases, the bar never fills up no matter how many minions you kill.
It’s “game blocking” in that it means you can’t get the everburning coal to complete the berserker collection for wild abandon.
My general plan is; get in, get out, repeat.
So GS5, head butt, F2, GS2, GS3, (you should be out of melee range now, so see what is going on depending on the fight) but generally dodge roll back in and see where your cool downs are at. Take endure pain and the stance one (forget the name) to use if and when.
Of course this is a very broad general idea. Responding to what is going on around you and reading the tells is always going to be the best way forwards.
Proximity voice for role playing. Make it happen!! :E
Oh right through the tunnel. WOW thanks dude, I knew it was something silly.
I suspect I’m doing some stupid but how do you get the skritt to take you to your last but one mile stone in the Silverwastes JP? I have the buff but I don’t know how to “trigger it”.
Rather than creating new recipes for potentially everything that you might want to forge in bulk, I think it would better to have an interface element.
Could be something like; “Repeat last recipe”; or once you have dropped the mats into the forge there could be “Craft X amount”; or “Craft as many as I have the mats for” buttons.

Do you need to wait until the time has finished on puzzles and rush to still get the reward or can you leave the puzzle etc?
So unless I’m misunderstanding something vital, my point was that you can earn the points and not spoil the story. Do the story and then open the masteries afterwards.
I agree some what that gating the Tyria Masteries behind HoT is a bit disappointing if you have bought HoT, but you don’t have to spoil the story if you feel this is important to you. It was important to me so I finished the previous chapters first. Personally I thought it was pretty clear that the next chapter of the story would spoil the previous chapter of the story.
I did the last 2 episodes of LW2 post HoT release and pre “Torn From The Sky”. I earned 2 mastery points doing it.
I second this.
