I don’t mind grinding for things but I hate things that are time locked.

For each Path of Acension…do I really need to play 3 games a day for 15 days for each path? So 60 days just to get a Back item?

Just getting back into GW2 after almost a year and a half. Looking for an easy to play class for pvp to help me get back into the swing of things.

Just started playing again after maybe a year and a half of me being away from the game. Last time I was playing, Staff Bunker ele was still a thing and I feel like I did a good job playing that class in PVP. Is it still viable? I still want to run it. What changes to the build should I make?

Haven’t played in a very long time. Probably stopped playing maybe a few months after Heart of Thorns release. How’s the game changed since then? Better? Worse?

One of the things I haven’t done much is crafting. I plan on getting my Tailoring(lv 1) to 500 so I can craft Ascended gear. Can anyone give me any tips or lead me to a recent and accurate tailoring guide? Thank you!

I’m playing Elementalist

I’ve been level 80 for quite some time now. I’m still finishing HoT. I never did care about gear too much however I just want things to do now lol. The gear I have now are all exotic. My amulets are all ascended. The stats on my gear are all Berzerker. I play an elementalist that’s main focus is DPS. I have a few questions regarding gear.

1. Is Zerker still the way to go for DPS? I just started playing again after a few months.

2. What should I be doing get better gear?

3. What upgrades should I place on my gear if all I want to do is DPS?

I’m a Spvp player lol. I hate the fact that we have yet to get a new map for conquest or a new mode other than the ONE we got. It’s been how long since release? Little to no maps and modes? Really? No new dungeons for PvE? Not raids, dungeons. No new race. Thanks for the raids I guess…

So the new patch is out. Yay. I took a break a few months ago however I did log in for an hour or so just to try out SAB because I missed it the first time. Didn’t like it. How are things with the game now since Colin left? Is it still dark in the tunnel or is the sun shining on our face yet?

I took a few months break from GW2 and I’m thinking about playing again. I ran a Staff Bunker build. I just went on meta battle and found only one build under conquest lol! Is Staff Ele just obsolete in Spvp now? If so can someone lead me toward a build (particularly Support)that’s not D/D?

I mainly pvp. I was excited for leagues but that got old fast. After I finish my personal story what else is there for me? I don’t plan on doing raids and I’ve heard nothing but awful things about WvW.

Uhh I stopped playing awhile back because It was getting boring. Can someone tell me what we’ll be getting in the coming months? I was hoping for some news today. I guess their still on break?

ur teammate has full hp and 1v1 at home. do u leave him and +1 mid? do u +1 home? u leave him; he dies and loses home, is it ur fault? u +1 home and u guys don’t get mid, is that ur fault?

do u stomp, cleave or bleed them out?

do u rez or go for the rally?

can u tell wen someone says ‘i got home’ or ‘go mid’ in chat, can u tell if it was said 1min ago or 4mins ago when ur in the middle of combat and can’t really look at the timestamps?

communication is a team-queue strategy, and nearly impossible to replicate in solo-queue.

solo-queue is where u need to make the calls on ur OWN. if u can’t trust them to 1v1, then u +1 that fight and if they blame u for losing mid then so be it.

Don’t be that guy that tries to play like a team queue wit a bunch of solo queuer’s. solo queuer’s got their own way of doing things. let the team queuer’s do their thing and solo queuer’s do theirs.

Communication is not hard if everyone complies but people don’t and that’s the problem. You have ONE MINUTE before the match begins. Most people use that to jump around rather than look at the opposing team’s build and create a strategy. If no one else will then I will be that guy that tries to make the team, A TEAM. You know what’s the worse thing? The people who keep silent until the team starts losing and starts blaming everyone when he didn’t follow the plan. Everyone says they want solo queue but what’s the point if 95% of the people just want’s to do their own thing in a TEAM based pvp?

1. If you don’t like to communicate with others,Conquest is not for you.

2. If you don’t work well with other people, Conquest is not for you.

3. If you can’t follow orders/follow the plan, Conquest is not for you.

If you don’t want to take the time to make a team, like myself, do us a favor and at least try to work with the team. It will make your experience as well as many other’s experience much more pleasant.

You most likely played against a Staff ele using a bunker build. I use that build and I can tell you now that I barely do enough damage to kill a single target. However, I have survived a 2v1 and sometimes 3v1 long enough to have my team mates come help me.

We definitely need to decrease the toxicity levels. So you lose one game. Big deal. Rather than putting down your team mates put on your big boy pants and lead them. If they don’t listen just take the loss.

Aside from the scoreboard? Maybe something like what bungie did with Halo where i can see my kill/death ratio?

Keep in mind,most of those people saying how they are hyped and how they love HoT,its kind of people who love game because its free,and they are going to defend it with their life.

Most of the people who enjoy HoT are the ones who would rather play then come on the forums and unload. I for one would never pre purchase an xpac. That being said, I’m enjoy HoT. Gliding is awesome.

SWTOR’s personal story is untouchable IMO. I love Bioware’s take on the single player story and is the very reason why I still want to play it. Everything else is meh.

This wasn’t the best expansion despite the pretty good first day. If you don’t enjoy it, move on. I still enjoy PvP, as hard as that is to believe, and I haven’t even bought HoT yet. From what I hear, Anet ruined WvW. Take a break and find something else to do. Come back when everything is, HOPEFULLY, better.

I get all of those things you listed in Ranked as well. I mainly solo que because I’m somewhat of a masochist and I rarely get a team that communicates. The only time anyone speaks up is when we’re losing and they start playing the blame game. Also…they removed ranked because the season hasn’t started. Go do something else while you wait. SIMPLE.AS.THAT.

Then don’t. One of the reasons why i enjoy GW2 so much is that I can leave for a few months and come back knowing that my gear is still relevant. If GW2 is not giving you want you want atm you can leave and come back. Simple as that. If you find something else that you enjoy and would rather play that then GW2 loses another player and it falls soley on Anet’s shoulders.

Game 2 my team destroyed the other
Game 3 pretty close match
Game 4 destroyed. Not even close
Game 5 Had a large lead then for some reason team decided to quit. There was literally no way we could have lost. Then some random ON MY TEAM decides to bag on me for complaining rather than the people responsible? What logic is that? I’m sorry but that crap happens way to often. Spvp is such a toxic place. I apologize. Just needed to get that out. Sooooo how was your first day?

I don’t have any videos but I always consider it a great moment every time i can survive a 3 vs 1 on my staff ele long enough for my party to come in and destroy.

I plan on purchasing HoT but money is pretty tight especially with the holidays coming soon. What will be available to me when Hot is officially released?
