By the powers of the NECRO. Arise dead thread ARISE: (Insert evil laugh here).
Relevant considering the recent patching in the last few months and the future outlook for mesmers, maybe, maybe not ? or should I of held off this long awaited necroing till next year ?
" Whats this PVE you speak of "
On general:
shatter efficency without ip=75%
shatter efficency with ip=100%my propose is to split the 25% more efficenty on shatter effect and the ability to shatter without illusion.
So the new ip will ad 25% more dmg\daze duration\conf stack\distorsion duration WHILE the ability to shatter without illusion would become a core mesmer mechanic.
Now to show you that doesnt change anything take a mesmer how it is now:
Mind wrack without ip (3 clones) = 100% damage
Mind wrack with ip (4 clones) = 125% damage (cause you count as a clone)My proposal:
Mind wrack without ip but you count as a clone (4 clones) = 125% damage – 25% base dmg reduction = 100% dmg
Mind wrack with ip adding the 25% dmg reduction (4 clones) =125% damage -25% base dmg reduction +25% dmg from ip = 125% damage
exactly same result as before.
Appling this method to each shatter effect you will have same min and max as now in both the situation (with and without ip).
That makes a little bit more seance now thanks for the clarification
I still see an issue though in the 25% damage shift as you are only accounting for maintaining the min and max damage in a perfect shatter setup.
For example using your proposal without taking IP :
If it am on a person/enemy in melee range and I do a 3 clone shatter I get the same damage as a normal 3 clone shatter as all (3 clones) + (You) hit the target = no damage loss at all.
But here is where I now have a small issue as to maintain the same damage you Need to have the (un-tratited IP) hit and that only happens in Melee.
If you are doing a ranged shatter or the target is just outside your own shatter range you have (3 clones) – (You) = a loss in damage compared to how shatters work now.
This means a Nerf in (Ranged) shatter damage while keeping (Melee) shatters the same.
Not sure if this is intended or not or if i am overlooking something ??
Last thing, Do you think having this ability without any draw back/ limitations like I have put in with my suggestion will be to much of a buff to mesmers in general considering the current meta as I feel that it would be way to much ???
Anyway thanks for the reply

@ ASP
My aim is not to “Shake up” the meta per say but to Improve build diversity by giving more options without changing/affecting any existing builds or play styles in the process.
Just ideas that I can think of just off the top of my head are:
0/20/0/30/20 which would open Shattered Conditions and Restorative Illusions. This would open up shatter play style to support shatter builds while trading that support for damage as you could not d a full 4 clone mind wrack or have Mental Torment.
0/20/30/0/20
Opening up again support builds through Bountiful Disillusionment where you could self buff and then boon share without the need for clones or IP. before engaging in a fight. It would also open up shatter play style fully to PU builds which i am not 100% a fan of and i can see a few complaints coming from other classes but that is because of PU its self and not shatter.
@ aelfwe
While i like your idea the biggest complaint I have is you are affecting all builds that do not take IP with a 25% damage nerf to shatters which in turn makes IP even more mandatory for a power shatter builds. Where as my suggestion dose not affect any builds but opens up more options/playstyles.
" Whats this PVE you speak of "
Whoops sorry miss typed the half shatter damage. It was surpost to be on the. “self shatter” only not all “normal” shatters. I want to buff and expand shatter play not destroy it. Editing post now.
Also in reguards to the CD increase it would only apply if you shatter with no clones and without IP. Dose not need to be double but I feel as stated it would buff all other builds to a certain extent and the CD increase limits the buff to an extent where you need to trait / take a utility to overcome it . Remember it only applies if you “self shattered” without IP or clones and risk a heavy CD increase over the gain of an instant self shatter or take the time to generate a clone and shatter like normal.

Hi Mesmer community.
Just putting out a random idea that has been floating around in my head for awhile now.
Been playing since launch but have quit GW2 for a a month now. Still read the forums every day (yea i know -.-) so just though I would contribute a bit back to it.
Main idea
Semi integration of the trait Illusionary Persona into the classes core mechanic enabling Mesmers to shatter on self without taking the trait.
Reason
Improve build diversity centering around shatter play style by opening up 10 trait points as you are no longer locked into the “mandatory” 0/20/0/0/30 with DE and IP but can now run 0/20/0/0/20 for DE and Illusionary Invigoration with 30 points left over for customization.
Now before people shout OP NEEDS NERF this would come with some big limitations to promote skillful play and to not reduce the importance of IP in current shatter builds. After all diversity is all about making choices and IP should still be an important trait to pick over any new builds that this change could bring.
Limitations
1: You can only shelf shatter if there are no clones alive. If the player has any clones out then the “self shatter” would not trigger and shatters would work like they normally do.
This means that if you want to self shatter while clones are alive or get the benefits of a 4 clone Mind Wrack/extended distortion you still need to take IP. It also promotes careful clone management if IP is not taken as to get a “self shatter” you need to either use two shatters to make sure the clones are no longer “Counted” as they run to the target or have no clones out at that current time.
2: The new “self shatter” is halved in damage and duration. Traits affecting shatters e.g Illusionary Retribution will still maintain normal duration and will not be halved .
Again this is to keep the importance of IP while making the integrated self shatter not overpowered. E.g going to stomp someone but distortion is now only .5 of a second making the timing more crucial same thing for big attacks/tells. Diversion is also .5 seconds meaning this would only be used for interrupts and not “Locking” someone out for 1 second giving you room to heal ect.
3: Using a shatter skill with no clones will self shatter but the CD doubled. Shattering with clones out dose not affect the CD. IP negates the increased CD reduction.
This is probably the biggest limitation and one I feel is necessary as it promotes a big risk vs reward for gaining access to our class mechanic without traiting for it or having clones out. Want to stomp someone and use distortion means a 120 second CD and 90 seconds on Diversion for interrupting that heal ect.
How this opens up build diversity
Enables new builds as with 10 more points to play with allows any GM trait to be picked while still maintaining the play style of shatter.
Also promotes careful management of shatter skill cool downs with Illusionary Invigoration or Signet of Illusions (Both 90 sec CD I believe from memory?).
Final thought’s
Although I wish to see something like my idea happen I am afraid based on the balance teams past record that to many bugs would be induced leaving shatters completely broken hence leaving it in the realm of Hypothetical would probably for the best 0.o
Also Thank you for reading

Inspiration 4/4/0/6
Same 4/4 traits as mentioned earlier.
I find this plays as a mainly normal phantom build but I can take a few supporting options for myself to cover any weak spots on the day. Instead of your damage coming from self buffing and de-buffing through might and vulnerability as in the chaos line you get the second 15% damage increase for phantoms.
Traits I pick are random for the 3 spots. I dont have a set load out on this build and it is more situational on the day.
Persisting images. For tanker phantoms. Always a plus and not much more to say.
Mender’s Purity. For well some much needed condi removal on heal.
Compounding Celerity. If you dont use a run speed rune for whatever reason while roaming it can provide that extra edge.
Restorative Mantras. Purely for that extra healing if i am running a mantra (which i am always running mantra of distraction :P) and to fill in a spot. 2.6k base healing also ensures you can take 1 – 3 auto attacks while charging and still break even hp wise. Has saved me on a few occasions as well when my heal was on CD.
Shattered Conditions. Believe it or not this has saves me quite a few times and is Great for breaking Immobilize if you use your F4 shatter and have a few clones out :P. Normally also used for clearing the heavy Necro bombs as well. I know shatter goes against the grain of a phantom build but you sometimes need to use all your available options to survive and having this option there is great.
As for how build plays I find it is a very good all round build which covers nearly all encounters to a greater or lesser extent pending traits. Condi removal on heal/Shatter if traits are picked for them. Good HP pool to survive burst. Respectable phantom damage and HP. Extra healing during those long sustained fights. And a free Utility spot to swap utilities out of pending on the encounter.
Few side notes
I personally run full pvt armor and full berserk trinkets and weps for both builds( use to be full glass but them thief’s 1 hitting you while you are fighting someone else :P). I find I do easily enough damage to kill other roamers as they mostly are all glass. While having enough sustain to take that backstab out of nowhere that announces a/another thief is around trying to kill you :P
I also dont stick to these two builds and will on a whim just change traits/lines/weapons/gear to mix things up a bit as I get bored of the same play style very easily.
Anyway hope this giant wall of text helps you in some way and gives you a few extra ideas. Then again the best way to find a build is to mess around with traits and see how they affect you then personally and pick the ones that work for you.
If you have any extra questions and you are on NA just send me a PM in game and i will be happy to help

Random Trait lines/Builds that I swap between depending on my mood.
Traits/utilities/sigils I always use.
Travelers runes because movement.
Duel energy because dodge is a live saver.
I also use duel battle these days for the extra might but swap battle out for different sigils depending on the situation. AKA dieing to condi alot swap to generosity, want extra burst use fire. But I never swap out my energy.
Blink, decoy and mass invis are a 100% must I find.
I always go 4/4/0/0/0 the rest of the 6 points I swap out depending on how I feel.
Taking III and X in Dom.
Dueling minor I personally run IV as a given due to nearly always using is sword but if using a staff then i switch to II. For the master trait I run DE over Phantasmal Fury. I know you lose out on damage but when your phantoms are dead you can revert to playing like a shatter build while waiting for CD’s also the wep swap with duel energy dodge into Distortion has saved me more times then the extra damage ever has(again personal preference). It also works well when going 6 into chaos as i will explain in the next section.
The next two builds I also run sw/sw GS mainly and will be mainly talking from that perspective.
Chaos. 4/4/6
Chaos I play semi Phantom lock down while stacking lots of vulnerability through vulnerability on interrupts/daze and Debilitating Dissipation clone deaths.Mantra of distraction is also a must have for the clutch dazes but as you only have 2 every 30 seconds you need to time them right.
Debilitating Dissipation:
For the vulnerability stacking and to mask that you are a power build with bleed stacking. Works well with Deceptive evasion as your clones are dieing all the time. Can be swapped out for manipulation cd reduction for shorter blink but I find Debilitating Dissipation better in the long run.
Bountiful Interruption.
Amazing trait I find. Can easily self buff to 20 stacks of might if things go well interrupt wise through all your dazes and knock backs. normal fight I general sit around 10 stacks with duel battle sigils dropping down to 6 and peaking 15 – 20.
CI for Grandmaster.
The immobilize is amazing and catches so many people off guard. chain that with sword 3 and another daze and well people don’t like it when the phantoms just beat on them and they cant move :P also helps stop runners/thief’s
Can also go here PU but well Yuck :P though if running a GS/Staff build can place the staff CD trait here i guess if you want to. That means you still keep Bountiful Interruption and can proc a lot of interrupts of chaos storm 0.o worth a shot.
Few pros:
As it is a kind of lock down you also are more active instead of waiting on your phantoms to do all the work and need to support them via stacking vulnerability limiting movement.
Lots of vulnerability and might stacking potential through interrupts.
45% built in boon duration with travelers = long might up time.
Good vs power builds I find.
Cons.
Biggest one is the lack of Condi removal. Get hit by a necro bomb and = GG. This is where all your dazes/interrupts knock backs and dodges come in handy as i find the best way to migrate damage is to not get hit at all and stop them from hitting you. Very hard vs a good condi thief though the pistol channel skill is very easy to interrupt.
Stability also counters this build a lot so GS 3 them and pray it removes Stability if not wait it out and kite kite kite :P

I was in your position almost half a year ago and switched from shatter to phantom so I will do me best to give you my feedback on how I find playing around with different phantom builds/weapons while roaming in wvw. Take what you want form it
Quick disclaimer first off is that i don’t min/max but play what feels right/I can afford, Also this is based on my own experiences/preferences (Mostly solo roaming) which differ from person to person :P
Weapons.
GS: I find is almost a must in roaming on a lot of mesmer builds. As you are content not swap it out I will move onto the next weapons and assume GS is supporting any of the following weapon sets.
Staff: My personal experience with staff is that it is not what it use to be after the chaos armor nerf. I have been running Staff/GS recently and find myself missing my sw/pi sw/sw sets. With staff I find that the phantom misses to often and dose not provide the instant burst that I need in some situations. The slow speed on the phantom attack/staff auto also dose not work vs people running away as they can outrun it leaving GS as your only chasing option. Surprisingly I also find that when you are aimed by more than 2-3 people staff also provides less defense than sw due to again the nerf on chaos armor and the long CD on chaos field. Phase retreat somewhat makes up for it and good use of it makes staff a really fun weapon and still viable but I personally feel that using sw/sw or sw/pi are more viable roaming options.
Sword:
Sword as my main hand weapons is my go to option for my off hand set over scepter and i personally prefer staff because of the following options.
Blurred frenzy:
Despite being good damage is the reason I find sword more defensive than staff when being aimed by 2-3 people as there is no limit on the amount of damage you can evade while using it as appose to staff which reduces the damage taken instead of blocking it(Aegis excepted). Also in a phantom build the play style lends you to using this skill as more of a defensive option as your main damage output is done via your phantoms. Also excellent vs those pesky thief’s for stopping the burst if timed right.
Illusionary leap:
For all that it is buggy sometimes still an amazing skill and almost rivals phase retreat I find. If being pressured in a heavy cc environment I use the swap as a stun breaker on a 9 second CD. Cant beat that :P
SW/SW: My personal off hand of choice.
For the block I find to be better then the stun on pistol vs thief’s and in roaming there are a lot of them :P. This is due to no cast time or target requirement also very decent damage if you wait for the counter to finish. Adds a lot of deference to sw/sw on top of blurred frenzy. I build a lot around countering thief’s for roaming as well there are a lot of them to counter compared to other classes.
Daze is also amazing if using interrupt traits. Cast/travel time is ok but could be better(then again the travel time on the daze bolt was buffed a while ago which makes it very nice to use compared to what it was).
Phantom hits hard and dose decent damage and survives ok. Also on a very low CD so easy to pump out but fails to blind spam due to single hit.
Another good thing about SW offhand is that you only need blade training freeing up 10 trait points compared to pistol.
SW/PI
Phantom is very nice. High damage and bleeds. Also follows targets in stealth which gives you an upper edge vs thief’s and mesmers. Also ranged which if you can set up two on a single target and then kite away from them adds amazing pressure. Also not susceptible to blind like the swordsman.
The stun is where I prefer the offhand sw over the pistol. Stability/Blind renders this skill useless plus the cast time and target requirement means it is not as good I find as the sword offhand block plus the high CD. On the other hand when you get the skill off the 2 second stun is very nice and great for stopping runners.
The other down side to Pistol it generally requires 10 more traits if you want to trait it which can limit your build a bit.

This bug/intended use of the skill was found about 2 months after the game was released I think but the thread it was on got buried in all the other ones at the time due to lack of replies . As for how effective it is the clone is normally shattered, replaced or killed within 10 – 12 seconds so becides from some interesting movement every so often it is hard to take advantage of this.

About a all of the comments for roaming I am kinda known for roaming in my guild as that’s is all I do but in this matchup it is very hard to do just because of population imbalance especially oceanic time . I have gone for over 45 min without finding anyone besides some 5 to 10 man groups most nights . Now 45 min of solo roaming finding only 1 kill vs pvd a few towers and maybe a keep and a few fights and the zerg starts to look quite good . Don’t worry we are out there but with the matchup like it is roaming encounters are few and far between. On another note I did find one of the best mesmers I have seen on reset night running 20.20.30 thanks for the duel it was epic.
P.S if anyone saw a necro fly hacking tonight on kain I have him on vid and will be reporting him when I have it uploaded.
P.SS when we mean our tier 8 population it is the same if not less population than 9 months ago. WvW as a whole has lost population since launch so what tier 8 was then and is now is completely different population wise and should not be compaired against each other .
" Whats this PVE you speak of "
Yea being on the other end of the goblem rush we couldnt believe that there so few of you guys on defending . We were expecting garrison and hopefully hills and if we were really lucky bay but by the end of it we had all 3 plus towers which shocked us all ( then again I think we had 2 omegas and 8 – 10 alphas used all up , not much you can do about that ) . All in all been a good matchup and hope it continues to be close score wise for the rest of the week

My bit of advice for OP would be to dry those tears and stop being a noob. Each class is different if you’re tired of getting ganked 1v1 then fix your build and L2P. I can’t tell you how many duels I lose against great players who know how to outlast and how to counter a thief. L2P L2P
While i agree it is mostly a learn to play issue try not calling people noobs with no justification and instead try help them by giving them tips on how to L2P L2P as you put it 0.o
Anyway as i said about 9 hours ago i would upload a clip for the OP so he can get a few tips from a mesmers perspective. The fights were mostly reaction on my part to what the thief was doing and if this was a real 1v1 in wvw and not a duel he would of been able to escape any time he wanted and the only reason i got him a few times was he overextend but still.
P.S. I dont claim to be the best mesmer there is and the conditions were not ideal for the duel ( aka on a slope ) plus i made a lot of mistakes and yes i was running a OP 1v1 phantom build at the time but still i hope this helps. Also it is completely unedited so no fancy electro music and captions.

Hey Rain
Coming from another mesmers perspective who spends most of my time scouting, yes they can be hard to fight and even more difficult to kill as a very good player playing the perma stealth build can normally chose to disengage and reset the fight whenever they want. I have seen 1 highly skilled thief from another server troll upwards to 8 average to decent players while being almost untouchable and doing decent damage for over 10 min before being taken down ( was in party with him at the time ). For me the only time i have killed a perma stealth thief build is when either they make a mistake and underestimate my burst , overwhelming numbers or in a organised duel where running away and resetting the fight was not an option.
As for how to deal with a thief of any kind mesmers have so many options but it really comes down to build, practice and an instinct on when to block/dodge/knock back/apply defensive boons even when they are in stealth. ( i have a good video of me dueling a perma stealth thief which i will post for you to watch when i get off work in 5 hours which may help )
As for what i do most of the time i run across one I generally just fight for around 30 sec and then just move on as it is not worth my time/effort ( though this can be difficult if they are intent in killing you ) and i could be doing better things with my time like scouting a zerg for my server or taking yaks/supply camps
As for balance on the thief class as a whole that is for anet to decide and i will just play and adapt to whatever comes ( im looking at you confusion nerf )
" Whats this PVE you speak of "
So i love using tonics which my guild and WvW server population will agree to so i though i would how you the bugs i have found so far with them
First one has already been posted a week ago but i have been using it for ages and would like to share it anyway with what i have found using it.
Swiftness for you
When running with runes or traits what proc swiftness on heal in tonic form you can still use the swiftness by pressing your heal button and get a speed boost but the heal remains untouched when you exit the transformation.
Note that on if you stay in tonic form you can use this about every 15 sec
Also you wont proc swiftness on your heal outside tonic form until the 15 sec internal cool down has finished.
But what dose that have to do with Mesmers you say well not much until the second thing i have found.
Random phantoms for all
Not only can we summon copy’s of our self using weapons we cant equip or make clones wear 3 separate sets of armor at the same time we can also summon animals.
Animals for all.
http://i.imgur.com/PQr7gUs.jpg
The one in the middle is a Quaggin.
http://i.imgur.com/ZFEcbZP.jpg
Chilling with my Moose.
http://i.imgur.com/ag9Ungc.jpg
To do this you ideally want to be with a friendly person from another server in WvW for full effect.
Once in downed state open up your inventory and pick your tonic of choice . Wait for your number 3 skill " Phantasmal Rogue " to come off cool down then summon the phantom. As the phantom takes the appearance of you it will also become the tonic you have transformed into.
Note that it wont do any damage when you are transformed so it is not OP at all ( though you do get +10 stats to randomness ). Some of the tonics animations bug out but you can still get some very good/interesting affects going as shown by the second picture.
Anyway hope you enjoy this bit of information and look forward to seeing it used against me one day.

In answer to your question each borderland is basically a 3 way like EB with an advantage going to the home server. When each server has the numbers to queue EB nearly 24/7 plus 1 or 2 borderlands at any one time the borderlands become very multi coloured . As to what wins matchups it mostly comes down to numbers and coverage. Don’t see why they are calling you a troll . If you have the numbers to lock down your borderlands plus EB you should be able to make some advances into there lands. Hope that helps abit
" Whats this PVE you speak of "
Hehe, that’s called exploiting. If you know how to do it, please don’t do it. ^.^
Well its not like you can do anything in there except annoy people and I have meet some great people in the last match up just standing on the edge of the spawn but yes when points matter and the match is not such a blow out then no one should be doing stuff like that… Anyway see you on the batte field
" Whats this PVE you speak of "
Wow, how he got here is something I’d like to know. Haha
Well there are two places you can literally just run and jump up into the spawn area . Then it is just a matter of not being killed by players and passing through the guards which I know the mesmer thief and ele can do with ease. No hacking required

How to kill the thief in WvW scenario
Jump from stonemist and hope he jumps too
Wait that might actually work BRB going jumping

A little thing that I have learnt playing mostly wvw with thiefs running around is that you should not complain about being beaten in a 1v1 unless you are lvl 80 and full exotics . Any skilled lvl 80 of any class should be able to take out a scaled player and even at 80 the difference in greens to exotics is a lot. Once you get to 80 and full exotics then it becomes more a even playing field where you can win vs any other classed based on skill and build ( if I play support build I never expect to win a 1v1 agains a person traited for a 1v1’s as most theifs appear to be ). Am I saying some things are not over powered, No im not. But it is only when your gear is maxed out vs another maxed out player that you can start to assess the balance of a class . Also note I have never played a thief past lvl 7 and main a shatter mesmer and just had 10 great 1v1’s with a skilled thief where any one of us made a mistake and we were both dead with it 50/50 wins to each .
Just my 2c

To the Engineer and Warrior I believe from the Guild Yarr . Thanks for the fight even though i could not burst down the Engineer and after 15 min we went our separate ways. I hope you liked my unusual attempt after around 10 min of fighting to try get you down which almost worked i think. :P

“Edit: and you’re right, we did have a ton of ppl there. Your ballista guy must have had a ton of loot bags at his feet – hopefully he/she remembered to grab ’em all. xD”
I don’t know about Ferg, but I know I(ET) made a fortune on you guys at Cliffside with Ballistas yesterday, and even more at Pangloss Camp the day before. I’m going to miss the badges from your meat-grinding zergs.
Great fight though. That’s they way it should be between us. Trebs lobbing back and forth, small siege keeping guys off the wall, while the zergs battle out in the middle. Where strategy actually matters, instead of blind pack movements.
It was an awesome fight . A few of my guild mates were just roaming around ET’s borderland looking for stuff to do and stumbled upon the best fight I have had this week. We eventually got a treb up where you could not counter it and got the wall down, Then it was a matter of meat grinding our way into your tower lol. Props to ET for holding out so long and pushing us back so many times.
PS. Did you guys get a transfer cus i am seeing more and more of you these last few days ?

Okay so after the nice thing I said about Kain…. here is where they prove me wrong…. They Zerg spirit as normal then decide to camp on the Non-Cap portal leading out of our citadel with a Golem…. really guys? no possible reason to sit there…none. You have proven that you outnumber us… Humiliation is kinda sad… hope when you move up a tier you get treated like you treat us.
Sorry you feel that way . I left just after we had taken that camp so I can’t speak fully for what they did but I don’t believe my guild mate’s were trying to humiliate you . If they built more siege in the camp then fine that is just bad sportsmanship and we deserve your comments, but we had already taken everything and did not know what else to do with our goblem so I guess they just waste it on your gate. ( hope you took it down in the end btw ).
Also most of us are incredibly bored so in wvw so if we are spawn camping you like that it is normally because like then that was where the only action was AKA people to fight. Anyway I admire you guys and hopefully next week we will be gone and you will have some new people to fight against more your server size .
P.s we as kain ( who were on wvw while DR was in our tier ) already Know what it is like to be spawn camped by a zerg plus have siege deliberately placed to stop us for almost 9 weeks. It is only since DR left and we have had transfers that kain has become like this…

Come to Eredon Terrace, We have fought GoM a few weeks back and was an enjoyable fight for us at ET.
Why come to ET rather than a winning server?
We have great commanders and several guilds that work together each night coming up with new plans and tactics to put up 1 hell of a fight.
We don’t run around in mindless zergs for karma trains, instead we use tactics and takeover several things at the same time whilst distracting invaders.
To us at ET, wvw is not about the winning, but about the enjoyment and activity from it.
We have a community that listens to each other rather than argue with each other.
We may not be winning as we don’t have the population to do so yet, but when Eredon Terrace steps into WvWvW, we become 1, 1 community, 1 spirit, 1 Sword in the chest of an invader, to fight our enemies with grace and loyalty.
So come ET.
(Posted via smartphone btw, sorry in advance for mistakes)
I’ll vouch for this post. ET has been really fun to compete against, and they really put up a great fight! Tonight’s matchup in EB was no exception – ET’s Keep and Medon’s were epic fights, back and forth the entire way.
These guys have it together, just need some numbers.
From Kain as well and I also second this . If you are into tactics against overwelming odds then ET is the place to go. They put up a very fun fight when they are active and have taken many a loot bag from us while still outnumbered 3-4 to 1 . Love fighting those guys.
" Whats this PVE you speak of "
To all the people from Mend i thank you for the wonderful fight at Speldan Clearcut in EB. Please enjoy all of our loot bags, I know you got at least 3 from me
" Whats this PVE you speak of "
Flappybob i thank you for the amusing fight from the other perspective watching most of us try to take you out of that tower in the least efficient way possible. I always shake my head when i see a cat being hit by something in a tower and people still insist on building another one next to or in the same location as the one being hit gets destroyed. Or decide that auto attacking a wall will make it go down faster ( Im surprised no rams were placed next to the wall )What can I say besides I hope most of the people in that fight learn something from it and please enjoy the loot bags complimentary of kain, you guys earned it.
Ps. I was the mesmer that pulled a few of you off the wall from the lords room about a minute and a half into you guys holding back the zerg and gave you guys the bow’s you all deserved after you each when down.

nice hack AGAIN by CNB to get inside Hills…and no, gates/walls were not down anywhere. And no..there was no mesmer inside for the past several hours lol. cant wait for accnt bans on it.
btw its a lil female human mesmer using a staff, upgraded 80. she likes to teleport on the ramp near the vista. got FRAPS running on that spot now =)
Drednyte I would very much like to see any videos that you record of anyone in our guild cheating, also what time { server time } they were on and if anyone else was participating with them . I will admit that it has been a problem in the past and when it was brought to our attention in the forums a few of the higher ranking people asked around and dealt with the offending parties internally and to the best of my knowledge they have not used any cheats or exploits again. Unfortunately there are a few human lvl 80 mesmers in the guild { including myself } and the guild is kinda split half WvW half Pve so i cant pinpoint who is is exactly. I hope this dose not affect the image of the legitimate players of CnB in WvW who only want be a respeacted guild and to fight as hard as we can while having fun doing it.

Fun fights in DR, Kains, and Ferg BL. I thought I’d die laughing when the DR group got to Kains Garrison…and in mapchat i see..“nobody has siege or supplies”….rofl
Some folks never learn eh…. well gratz on defending it from the nubs. They all left when they failed at taking it. Gave u a chance to PvDoor back ur map. We started to put up a little defense at Hills, but no supplies, no siege, and all of 7-8 of us there just wasnt gonna compete with the 20+ u had at the south gate. Was fun though.
Props to you all!
First thing I hear in TS after getting back from dinner was all come DR almost has the garrison. By this time you had the inner gate to 3/4th I think and we get a few extra numbers from our guild join . Then our commander decides that I was expendable and told me to set up portals right in the middle of your zerg . Naturally I was all to happy to run in solo into around 30 to 40 of you ( not sure but it felt like that much ) like an idiot and drop a portal so they could all port in as well. I can’t say how many times we did that trying to clear you out but it was a lot of fun . Though I was disappointed after most of you left as I was looking forward to some really fun sieges later on. O well I guess I had to be happy with our BL back. Anway if you see a mesmer from CnB run headlong into you guys in the future and drop a portal it is most likely me
