The water buckets are an example of a frustrating phenomenon my mom and I call the “magic spot” phenomenon. The “magic spot” is a very small, very precise location you have to touch/hit/interact with from exactly the right direction. With the buckets, there’s a tiny “magic spot” that the bucket’s effect works on, so you have to use the bucket in just the right place. I suppose this could be mitigated if Anet just made the “magic spot” bigger…

It’s been like that since release. Maybe even before but my memory is not perfect. But I think this bug is hilarious.

Why did they change this?

Has this actually been added yet? I can’t put Booster items into the Mystic Forge.

Are the new weapon skins going to be soulbound or account bound?

I’ve seen someone going around named Jigglypuff.
Also my guildie has a bear named The Irony Dolyak.

This happens to me all the time and most of the time I don’t know why, although lately I’ve discovered moving the camera so that the target I’ve selected is off screen causes it to be de-selected.

I’ve gotten one key as a drop (from a cat), but I haven’t seen one drop in weeks. The drop rate is extremely low.

You’re all like “man, I got the high ground, gonna rain death on that charlie”. But Arenanet doesn’t seem to like people using the terrain to their advantage.

Yet they LET you do that in Guild Wars 1! You would get bonus damage with a bow if you shot from higher ground.

Yeah, the only time I did Only Zuhl and solo’d the destroyer boss (using my pet to keep it from melee-ing me) there was no chest after I killed it. When I started wandering around looking for the non-existent chest I somehow spawned the boss again, after which I was like “kitten this, I’m outta here”

On a semi-unrelated note, has anyone else noticed that Juvenile River Drakes look exactly like Rock Drakes and nothing like adult River Drakes?

You mean with their front legs stuck out to the side? I think that’s their reference posture. I reported that weeks ago.

You’re no longer able to transmute stuff that you’re wearing or otherwise have equipped. That was changed in the last update.

That’s actually a feature, not a bug. Since pets die a lot and people in the heat of battle would rather resurrect other people than pets, it was changed so that pets can’t be targeted to res. Pets res automatically out of battle, or you can switch to your other pet.

I’m playing on an Asus G74SX-BBK8 laptop where Fn-F11 is bound to volume down. For some reason, the first time I use Fn-F11 in a play session to lower the volume, it pops up the hero (H) menu. It only happens the first time use that keystroke since I’ve started the program, never any subsequent times. I never have my hands anywhere near the H key when I’m pressing Fn-F11. It’s really harmless, but I’m just curious as to why this is happening, if anyone else has noticed weird behavior like this, and if it can be fixed.

In my opinion, if you’re concerned about getting banned for using something, then don’t use it.

Same here, my Lifetime Survivor has been stuck at zero since forever

Oh yeah that, I call it my pet’s “sparklefart.” I’m glad I’m not the only one who found that annoying! (It’s especially maddening for me because I have sensory issues)

This has been happening to me since day one. My target in combat frequently gets switched to my pet or something nearby (or even cleared) for no obvious reason and I’m not even touching anything. I don’t understand why this is happening.

I saw something like this on the Blackgate server last time I passed by there (that was days ago though); only one piece of evidence was planted and it was not obvious or intuitive how to plant more (if it was even possible).

I mean the icon in the pet menu clearly shows an eagle with a white head (then again the same picture is repeated for the hawk).

I think he means the skill point (which appears to be impossible to complete) and waypoint (which is contested even though it looks like it isn’t). Those look like bugs.

I was there one time and solo’d the group event boss. I never did find the chest and the boss respawned about 15 seconds later.

Is that why I constantly keep losing my targets or targeting my pet? It happens all the time and really bugs me!

I’d like to use the account email authentication system to help secure my account, but I’ve never been given the option to use it. There is no prompt to verify my e-mail address when I log into the game.
