I would prefer floating backpieces.
With the light armor, for me, is like if the magic of the crystals are doing your backpiece and weapon floating, and, even though I dont like the weapon (like shields) hovering, think that the backpiece its ok.
In any case, why we can’t choose personally how we want it?, can you implement the two options? because I really hate the clipping issues.

I would like that any Dev say something about the ele’s nerfs.
I understand the air overload’s nerf, but what about the meteor shower? The skill now feels slow and bad, its not feel in the line of the elementalist.
Why you didn’t put it a longer CD or nerf the dmg of the meteors? Seriously, when you see the meteor hitting enemies and not being damaged, feel so bad.
I know that ele its top in PvE, but dont ruin the essence of the elementalist’s skills.

I have this problem too with my GTX 1060. I dont know if a driver or Anet will fix this, but is really annoying sometimes.

Omg, this teaser dont say nothing new, we can see the new legendary shortbow (what is nice), but still missing a lot of information, seems like dungeon rewards still the same, fractals will be remodeled but if they still giving bad loot at high level I dont know if is good… (just speculating this point).

I really like the blogs like in January when we know all the upcoming changes days before.

Personally I think that you have to get hyped to veteran (and new) players that have almost all done in this game. Seems that I’ll still doing the same at least till summer update (Daily achv + daily swamp fract + raid clean on monday…). And this makes me feel bad with my favourite game.

Hello, Mike I have a problem with this game, I love it too much, but I already have all done, (a lot of achievements, all raid done, all pve done, pvp legendary done) so I’m really bored latelly… so do legendaries is an entertaiment (I have at the moment 10 legendary weapon, all vanilla), and now you stop this… Is a kitten, but I prefer that you communicate this to us that waiting for always for the new legendaries. Sincerely, I dont know what to do at the moment, you nerfed the dungeons (gold) what I used to do a lot with my friends, the 5 man content is at the moment just fractal what is swampx3 in almost cases, because not make sense do lvl 100 or another type because the rewards are insignificant…

At the moment Im playing alone a game what I played a lot with my friends, please, make back the dungeons rewards and at least we have something to do with 5-man (although be the same content that 3 years ago)

Yep, 100% map on Tyria causes that HoTs maps don’t get rewards. Either Southsun cave, SW or Dry top that now give reward, dont give nothing to ppl with 100% map.

Please Anet give us a response and if you’ll fix this.

Yes, it might be annoying. Yes, you payed for the game. But, yes, they’re working on it, and trying to actually make sure you get your money’s worth. Life isn’t always so easy as clicking the “fix” button.

I do not believe its the game engine as much as I feel its related to the CoherentUI.

If you disable the UI the game runs normally, even on max settings. Its really as simple as that. As you open more UI windows the FPS drops even more. Open inventory, get a FPS drop of 5-7, open the Guild Panel, FPS drops by 5 more, Open the WvW Panel, more FPS drops. Also, There is something going on with the UI that is driving the GPU usage up by at least 30%

As Felipe mentioned, we only use CoherentUI to display the gem store, currency exchange, and trading post. All other UI is using an in-house UI solution. The vast majority so far appear to have performance issues unrelated to that dialog.

Also, Coherent dropped support for the 1.x builds at the end of 2014. You are using 1.8.×.x in GW2, which is not fully supported anymore. If you are tacking on UI changes that ‘breaks’ the API Coherent isn’t going to help you guys with it unless you are running a 2.x Build from them.

That’s not really true. We have a very good relationship with Coherent, and have received great support when needed (including this year).

Please let us know how many time you’ll need for fix this or if you think that you can fix this 100%…

We have indeed noticed performance issues on the latest release.

We performed optimizations on our post processing effect pipeline, which were released on Wednesday. Our guys also put a lot of hard work optimizing the new camera collision code. These changes were released yesterday.

Although these changes have improved performance we still haven’t solved the issue you guys are experiencing.
We have top men working it right now and we will get to the bottom of this!

Tbh I made a coin flip on going with that or shelling out the extra 600 cash to go with a I7-5930k and 16gb of ddr4-2100. Would’ve been soooo angry had that coin flip had gone the other way.

I know, I have a i5 2500k and I had gtx 570 and cant go with 60 fps, I bought 2 weeks a r9 280x and I can go with 60 fps with all ultra except the shadows, I literally bought for gw2, is the only game that I play on pc actually so… now I go 20-30 fps but my cpu go to 80% so is horrible (before the patch 50%) Im frustrated

I had just finished building my new rig when the patch released ><
Originally had a I7-940 with 8gb ddr3-2000, and a gtx-780 sc.
Now my rig has a I7-4790k with 16gb ddr3-1600 and the same gtx-780sc.
On the old rig I could peak around 55-60 fps on ultra settings.
Now I’m peaking around 30ish fps on high. On Ultra I’m only getting maybe 15-25..

Before I saw this thread I was about to tear apart the new rig and rebuild the old one. So I want to say to everyone who’s posted here. “Thank you for posting this information and preventing me from a few hours of unneeded running around”

There has been a Dev response to most of the bugs, and topics, accept any to do with the fps drops, it feels like there not even acknowledging it as a bug, that’s how it feels anyway, I’m now hoping they just don’t want to admit they kittened up but know they did and are working on a fix. If not, then i guess it’s time to find a new mmo as this one is simply unplayable now, so, any ideas of a mmo with the same kind of active combat syst gw2 has?

Another patch update and we still with the same fps drops, srsly I guess that Anet dont do nothing about this, if they at least post here with “we are working on it” but nothing… 2 days without play.

I have i5, r9 280x, 8gb ram, I always had 50-60 fps (60 fps on map where I was alone) now the game runs at 35-40fps like if I was on triple wurm or tequatl… annoying and Anet dont say nothing

You mean that I have to complete at least 1 event prior breach event? Not just go to the boss breach event?

Hello, sorry for my english but in my region forum nobody answer me, I want to ask you why 3 of 5 times that I completed the breach event I dont receive the global chest ( when you kill all the bosses or when time end) I always kill red boss, but when we finish, I dont received the chest… Is annoying cause I want to take a lot of things for bandit crests. I usually jump into some maps when I finish breach event for try farm just bosses… Sorry if you dont understand me well, I have problem to explain you good, if anyone of you can help me. Thank you!
