So I’ve been working along side a singer who has been making some awesome Guild Wars 2 Parody’s and I’ve been trying to make a nice music video to go with it. The problem so far has been that there is no way I can make a full machinima without some tools. Something like a model viewer would be nice.

I’ve also heard that there’s an in house animation tool to create those cut scenes we see rather than using anything else and this makes it hard to create any effects similar to those in game. It would be nice to see this tool released at some point!

I hope someone at ArenaNet sees this and we can hopefully see this in the future at some point ^^

I would KILL for this gear! Currently running rabid gear (Precision, toughness, condition). If this gear comes into place I will swap EVERYTHING for it!

So today I bought a pair of Aviators from the gem store and put them on my character. When I put them no they don’t seem to appear. Even the Baseball cap from when the game launched isn’t showing up even though I have the item! What’s going on?

As a ranger i think this would look awesome i can imagine the numebr 3 suddenly becoming much more menacing!

I want to see Rytlock next!

rangers are probably the best counter to theif…just sayin

I know rangers are meant to be able to live off the land and things so the staff kinda falls into this. No Medium class can use a scepter or staff and rangers are probably the most magically aligned. I could imagine a ranger would use the staff more like a halberd using it in close combat. I was kinda surprised when the ranger was announced and we couldn’t use anything like this.

Thoughts?

Personally i wouldn’t hide them. You are the one troubled with the TP overcrowded issue. Besides, the mounts will be cosmetic so they will be buy-able only in TP and not usable in combat. So no problems with WvW
We have already the broom, why not a drake or a moa for that matter?

I’m allergic to Moas…..don’t laugh. But I see your point. I just don’t think it would work.

Option to hide/show players with mounts or “mounts aren’t allowed in major cities rule” will do the trick for you
There are games that with a button hide, unhide all players in surrounding aria

If you had a mount wouldn’t you want to show it off? Whats the point of getting a super rare mount if hardly anyone sees it? Plus imagine what WvW would be like…

Apart from the everlasting merchant, black lion trader and bank access there is no real desire to open them. I would love to see lodestones or exotics go in there. I might start buying more!

The problem with mounts is that sure they look flashy but imagine what it would be like going into the trading post or the bank? MASSIVE FRIGGIN DRAGONS AND STUFF EVERYWHERE! It would be nice to see them but it just isn’t practical. I expect to see more small things like the broom though.

Most people want to see new and crazy things. Find something interesting in the game and see what people think of it. If there has just been a new patch go out and explore! Find anything that you think is interesting and other people will want to see too! Be sure to check out other GW2 youtubers and see what content they’ve already done. No-one wants to watch the same thing twice!

i did try using the lodestones but it didn’t work with the binding agent. They lied to us again

I think I found the main use for the Mystic binding agent. This should explain it well enough:

1 Wine, 1 Crystal, 4 Shards and a Dust = ONE CORE
1 Binding agent, 1 Crystal, 4 Shards and a Dust = TWO CORES
In other words, it doubles what you put in, so I could put in 8 Sliver and it would give 4 Fragments back instead of 2 fragments. So if you have a bunch of Charged Fragments and sliver, then you could just make some Charged lodestones.
TL;DR The binding agent doubles what you get out when changing Sliver to Fragments but not lodestones.

Hey Everyone

Me and a guildie were playing Hide and Seek in the heart of the mists (what you gonna do about it?) And we stumbled accross what seems to be a jump puzzle.

To get into it you have to go to the underwater trials area. If the follow the wall until you come across a giant price of seaweed. At the bottom of it there should be a small cave entrance which you can swim through. If you swim though it you will find a massive cavern. This is what seems to be a jump puzzle but upon reaching the end there is no reward.

Its a cool place to hang out though and it looks pretty nice. I don’t really see why its there though if its not actually a jump puzzle. Could someone at ArenaNet maybe tell us?

uhm? they don’t drop that much as you said. I farmed for more than 40min and no Vial of Powerful Blood at all. Just 8 Vials of Potent Blood…. wow… i dont think it’s worth the time.

What’s your problem? Why would I need attention and why would I seek community approval? I was just trying to help others who don’t know about this farming spot.

Southsun Cove seems to get ignored by most players because they don’t think they can
earn enough money. If you farm the area between point lion and point pride you should get the following loot:

• Fine and masterwork items
• Vial of Potent blood
• Vial Of Powerful Blood
• Karka Shells
• Various trophys

The Powerful blood and Potent blood drop quite often so you can farm there for around half an hour and earn a decent amount of gold. (around 1.6g) Its very easy to do and can be solo’d or done in a big group. Hope this helps some poeple.

With so much coming in this new patch i tried to break it all down into a 4 Minute Video! It talks about the new dungeon, new area and the new PvP map! Hope you all enjoy!

I’ve been wondering what the best foods people would recommend for WvW. I know it will be different for every class but lets compile a list of effective foods for WvW. I play as a Condition/Critical Ranger so , for me it would be a;

Bowl of Curry Butternut Squash Soup
+100 Precision
+10% Crit Damage
+ 10 Experience from kills

or a;

Rare Veggie Pizza
+ 40% Condition Duration
+70 Condition Damage
+10 Experience from kills

What would other people have? Also state what profession/builds you’re playing and together we can compile some sort of list!

Since i still have to wait for GW2 Halloween I thought GW1 Halloween would be great! I all feels wrong and weird

We need an underwater zone. Underwater combat is about 15% of total game play but its so well designed I feel like there should be more of it. And it would give people who underwater legendary weapons to be able to show them off.

I agree with you on the fact that there aren’t enough ranged pets but I feel that the ranged pets don’t do enough damage and aren’t seen as such a big threat. But when you have something chasing you, thats a much bigger threat, which is why i put hyena at the top of the list. And yes, the Wolf should be higher but we totally forgot to include it in the video!

We missed out the wolf by accident but apart from this one is pretty accurate.

1 – Hyena

3 – Carrion Devourer
4 – Jaguar
5 – Snow Leopard
(6 – Wolf)
