Omg Thank you Anet !! I have felt less and less alt friendly ever since Ascended Gear was introduced. Even though felt discouraged but kept on playing with some hope.

Now I feel that Anet is finally going in the right direction ! =) Go! Less grind and more horizontal progression !

After adjusting some settings. I cant see the red circles anymore for enemy attack. Been trying to play around but cant get the red circles to come back. Can anyone advise me on what to do to get the red circles back ?

In a group of 5 over 100 doors later got credit for 5 lol

Having played a lot of other games I dont want the Trinity. In other games its always hours mapping shouting group LF Healer, Group LF Healer. If your a healer you get a party easy, but may not have the best skills for PvP or leveling.

This Achievement is either not working properly, or is working and just tedious.

1) Less Grind/ No Ascended or Gear grind.

2) More fun and innovative fun horizontal progression stuff.

3)More Alt Friendliness

I read that the transfer will be discounted at 800 to high pop servers until Oct 17? Maybe it hasn’t started, but when my friends checked to try to transfer to my server it still shows 1800 gems ?

It’s weird. My friends and I have been checking at it still says it costs 1800 gems

My friends are looking for a transfer to my server. I read somewhere there will be a time to transfer to a high pop server for 800 gems instead of the 1800 gems. When is the time frame they have to do it in ? Right now it is still at 1800 gems.

Hello I haven’t played for many months. I was wondering if you have world completion, will your clones also have the world completion logo on top of her head?

I agree with Tarnn. I can go where I want, without having to worry about gear. I enjoy using the best gear now and be able to use it for a long long time instead of having to grind for the next one. They should come up with things for us to do, using the best gear already in the game. Using these gear to complete new and interesting and creative activities, quests, group events, cooperative and competitive. (Horizontal Progression) which takes more work for them to do then vertical progression which only gives us gear grind just to keep us busy.
Hopefully we will have more incentives to group up and more meaning to guilds. Guild vs Guild would give us a lot to do. Give us different events, activities where we can play together. Different modes of PVP, rankings in PVP. I would prefer if we can only join one guild, but have guild vs guild battles.

Agree with 1 and 2. Disagree with 3. They could with creativity, create things for us to do besides a never ending grind. Strongly agree with number 2.

How do you get 1 condition removal on For Great Justice. On the tooltip it only mentions fury and might. Also for shake it off, it says only remove 1 condition on you and one on your allie? Is there a trait I need, or is the tool tip wrong ? Thanks

I know we dont know yet. But just guessing. Do you think character expansion slots will be on sale this Saturday or Sunday for the Black Friday sale ?

Dungeon, good. Grinding for stuff, bad.

This gear grind makes me feel like playing only 1 character. I alreayd have 3 lvl 80’s and bought multiple chararacter slots. Love to level up alts. Now when I log on I feel I dont want to be left behind. I only really have time to gear up 1 character. Especially if they decide to also increase the level cap in the future.
Less people will be buying the character expansion slots. These are probabably not big money makers for you guys anwyas

I never played GW1. But quit many other games. GW2 promises something different, and so far it is. But if it changes, it will be like any other grindy MMORPG. Hopefully more intereting content comes out that will keep our interest

If this is what they are doing. Going up on cap, making things/gear obsolete. And keep grining for levels/gear etc like other games. They might as well make this game Pay to Wins as well lol. This will make this just like any other game and not the game people come to GW2 for.

Was it revealed how do we travel to this map ? Is it close to Lions Arch?

They should have an option of matching together a random group with similar tier in fracture. And an option of make your own party. For people who can get a party and knows their party members well its excellent. For new people or just to help group people togther, they should match you automatically in a group, maybe like in League of legends or something like that lol. For example click here – find a group near your ranking. done you are in a group, go in the dugeon, and your teamates also ran the dungeon about the same amout of times you had and have more or less the same amout of protection gear.
If you dont want to do this click – I want to find my own party – and then enter.

2-More modes for Spvp
3-Different mini games.
4-Develope and release more armor skins for us to buy.
5-New Unique dynamic events for us to interact with.

The small amout of people of complained that there was nothing to do is way less than the majority of people who didnt complain about that as seen by so many posts in this thread.
There is a lot Anet can come up with for something to do. Not just come up with gear grind as “something to do” Do something creative. Gear grind is something to do yes. Most dont want to “do” it. They want to “do” something fun.
I cant suggest what would be fun that is your job Anet. Examples. Different modes of SPVP. Different in game events, like some aspects of Halloween. Implement Guild vs Guild etc. Adding new events, quests. You guys are supposed to come up with these type of stuff for us to “do” Other players may have good ideas about that and I am sure you guys have great ideas. But gear grinding is not good just to come up with something else to “do”.

Never played GW1. Played and quit many other MMORPG’s because of gear grind. Hopefully it wont be as bad. Because so far its been really good =) Hopefully no more gear grind so I will want to buy more gems =) If its gear grind game then buying gems its a waste of money.

Just reading this thread Anet should know easily that the majority of players dont want this Ascend gear. They dont want gear progression. Thats why they play GW2 instead of other games. The people who complained about no gear progression/no end game are a minority of people.

Instead of using this gear progression to try to “create” “end game” please use your ingenuity to create more fun content for us to “do” and have fun in this game. Keep grinding for gears is not “end game” is “getting to” to end game like other games where your goal each time you log on is to grind for that “best gear” then after some time you need to grind for the “next set” of gear. That does not sound fun if you think about it. Because whatever your gear it will become useless. and end game is just grinding for gear and always “getting to” and never at end game. As you probably know aready that is why most GW 2 players left other games.
Please dont do this. Use your ingenuity to create for your players some REAL fun end game content.

This is the worst idea ever. You wont get people to buy more gems this way. The best way is to come up with skins every few weeks that our characters can use while in combat. People would buy tons for them.

I love this game so far. You get to obtain the best gear pretty easily, then you have fun, and not worry about getting geared up anymore.

Getting geared up is not end game. What you come up with Anet, for us to do, after getting the gear is End game. For example, making WvWvW more fun/balanced. More modes for Spvp instead of conquest. More actual content for us to enjoy like some aspects of the Halloween events.

Now it has become like other games. Why do some players think end games is grinding for more gear? People grind for best gear so they can end up enjoying them at max level. You spend a lot of time getting them in other games, then after an update the gear becomes useless. then you grind for the next set. Then after a while you grind for the next set, then you grind for the next set, then you grind for the next set, the next, the next then the next. This is not fun. You should be able to stop grinding for sets at one point, then HAVE SOMETHING ACTUALLY FUN to do.

We alreayd have thing fun to do in this game and I love it. Anet only have to find other funs things for us to play and find ways for players to play together. This is not it. This is why most of us have left other games in the first place. If bottom line/making money is the incentive, this will not make you more money Anet.
