Hello, I see there will be no more legendaries any time soon. Which is a real shame and has made my gaming time a little problematic. Having planned ahead for a new Great Sword (or maybe a shield) I invested my materials into 2 of each gift condensed magic and might. Which now sit in my bank. The current legendaries don’t appeal to me sadly.

Any chance of having these salvaged in the same fashion as the Gift of Fortune?

There is a wall up just before the small cave with the symbol inside. Nobody can enter the cave. Nobody can complete their guild trek.

We defeated the new Shatterer about 5 minutes ago, only for many of us (unknown but at least 30) to Disconnect. I and some others managed to loot but upon reentering the game our loot had vanished.

12 stacks here, no reward, no blooms, no drops, nothing.

Hello, as the title says, Lions Arch kills you for no reason. You can be jumping around and then BAM! death. You can be walking past a waypoint BAM! death. Why does Lions Arch hate us?

Everything had been fine up until yesterday and now the game is fragile and seems to crash often, and for different reasons. What the hell did you do to the game?

I was playing fine for a couple of hours and then this error code 7:11:3:191:101 comes up and now I can’t play at all. Wonderful /s.

I had killed each of the Mordrem bosses, I then handed them into the cryptobotanist who gave me crests. Is that all there is to these parts?

Look through the builds and find something that looks kind of like what you enjoy, then tinker with it to suit your play style. I find that GS is best in a power build, it doesn’t inflict any damaging conditions so condi damage won’t help, unless you have high precision and stack a ton of bleeds, and choose some traits that boost your phantasms. Sword/Focus is in the same boat as far as power or condi damage. If you don’t have any trouble with evading enemies then go with Berserker gear. Travelers Runes will help you cross the map faster and get from event to event.

As long as you are having fun you’re doing it right.

Something I randomly put together for PVE, if you are having trouble you could swap Mirror Images out for Phantasmal Defender. Accessories can round out your stats with whatever you need, defense or offense.

Hello I recently came back from a break and finished leveling my Mesmer to 80. This happened about 1 hour ago. In the last week I have been using all weapon types and been messing around trying out everything. I just don’t seem to have the hang of things yet.

I quite like the great sword. I quite like sword and focus. I also am enjoying using many illusions. Still nothing is sticking and I seem to be having quite a bit of trouble.

I have tried to equip condi, precision and power gear. But only because I have lot’s of that lying in the bank for some reason, and people say “condi gear” to me but not much else.

My build is all over the place, currently it is 4, 0, 2, 4, 4.

I only PVE, world content only. So no dungeons or PVP of any kind.

I would love some help with the direction and focus of my character. Thank you

I am getting this error, 3 separate characters all trying to enter Bloodtide Coast.

As the title says. From Lions Arch to the Mad Kings Labyrinth, the game crashes. White screen, some error then boom, dead client.

It was fine last night, it was the last thing this PC was used for last night.
Today, the first thing I use my PC for is GW2 and I can’t play.

I am currently level 3. I can’t increase my level because 1) they are a nightmare as only mute space cadets seem to be available for my pug runs. and 2) people quit after the 2nd or 3rd area, even if the going is good.

How do I do this? any pointers for places I can find non-space cadet communicating types.

I have 1 of each of the remaining professions at mixed levels all below 60.

I do not PvP ever and only rarely WvW. Maybe I will do a dungeon here and there, but otherwise I just run about completing the map and killing world bosses.

If you have any suggestions as to what I could do with these I would appreciate it

I realize Fort Trinity is on the “front lines” but would it be impossible to imagine that those that work there would sign post the various areas?

The story arc is something I’ve done once 2 years ago and I come to revisit it with a second character and I can’t find the submarine bay, the ramp for which is in the shadows and is railed off. Can we just get some “this way for X” type of signs in big important areas please.

I Have an 80 thief, and I love to use the shortbow and dual pistols because I don’t do dungeons so I can get away with it. Recently I have been thinking about using dual daggers because “Internet hype” says I am playing my Thief wrong. That being said, I don’t want to buy expensive armor and then regret buying the wrong type.

I am looking at the Nika and Aidan sets and I can’t make up my mind. Also any other armor I might want to consider? What would you do?

Hello there. As the title says, I am missing my Guild Wars 2 celebration cap and Sonic Tunneling tool. I just returned from a long break and have discovered that town clothing is no longer available and apparently taking my toys along with it. EDIT Missing my witches broom also.

- Yes I have checked all of my characters.
- Yes I have gone through the bank.
- Yes I have gone through the wardrobe.

I like to view topics in all caps as somebody who is panicky or has drunk 6 cans of an energy drink in a 2 minute period.

In WvW you would move 50% faster when? from the start to the first time you enter combat? or a predetermined battle point on the map? so the server has to determine where the battle is? Or did you plan on this speed buff magically “just working”.

What if you run with this speed buff and somebody wants to fight you whilst you’re travelling at this higher speed. How would you compensate for the difference in latency times between the 2 people, how would you avoid people avoiding fighting due to running 50% faster. Do you automatically gain this 50% movement speed buff upon leaving combat? Why do you want this “warp speed” effect anyway? If you can’t deal with the fact that your avatar is not supposed to be moving that fast anyway, maybe you are playing the wrong game.

This is a bit of a silly idea really isn’t it? and you haven’t thought it through, you’ve just thrown your brain-fart onto the forum as some form of frustration venting.

- Go to bed early, like 8 pm. Wake up refreshed at 4 am. Log on, go to the sanctum where it should be a bit quieter.

- Whatever character you use, make sure and take revive orbs. If you die at least you don’t have to run all the way back.

- You could make a real effort to get a group of people and fire them up to do the sanctum. If a large-ish group of you go, it should be possible.

There was a guy who bought his commander tags and spent his time leading zergs in WvW. He could be counted on to get a large group of people together to take towers and what not, people recognised his name and he was pretty fun to zerg about with. One day he suggested we go to the sanctum. The entire zerg ran in, cleaned up and everybody completed it. Shame you can not perform such things..oh wait.

I dislike hurting them, it’s not that I won’t defend myself but it seems a bit of a waste to hurt them for trinkets. Sometimes if they are thieving I will let them thieve if only to support their families. Poor poor Skritt.

I just got this from the forge and saw that it sells for over 5g, it’s a level 30 green ring with +15 vitality and a Lapis nugget in the gem slot. Why is it so expensive for such a low level item? Would somebody really pay over 5g for this?

I am in the same boat and what I decided to do with them is this:

- I wanted my characters to look a certain way, so bought the dyes directly and never worried about dyes again. Less than 1g per character, 7 characters.
- Make 2 piles of unidentified dyes. 1 pile for a legendary (or at least the possibility for a legendary) which is 250 in total. The second pile I will save until I get to 100, then I will gift them to the missus because she is awesome.
- Repeat.

So the organ in Ebonhawke is bugged, you can’t play a note next to another note without waiting 5 seconds for the first note to finish. If you try to play the correct sequence for to open the door for the chest you simply can not do it because you take too kitten long playing the song.

I tried 5 times, I checked and rechecked my notes, I made sure to take my time and the door won’t open.

Fix the organ. Please.

The Phantasmal swordsman is indeed doing damage, it hits a mob then stands there taking a beating before hitting once more and then vanishing or dying. Is this normal for that ability?

Hi, I made a new Mesmer and have been noticing that my clones and Illusions are doing 0 damage. Each hit lands but the hit reads as 0 each time.

The abilities I am using are: Mirror Images, Phantasmal Swordsman, Mirror blade and Illusionary Riposte.

It’s a bug, hopefully it will get fixed soon

Not again…I did it twice last week and it just felt like a panic race against getting caught and beaten. Ugh, the stress.

I think the fight looks really awesome, it has great music, it’s visually impressive and it is exciting. The fact that you are not stood about avoiding AOE red markers, spamming 2,3,4,5 with auto attack on doesn’t detract from the awesome. You do indeed fight him, just not conventionally. Also, what did you expect? he is an elder dragon afterall, did you think that you and your 4 buddies could stand there toe to toe with Zhaitan? that’s a bit mental.
