Sometimes I see on skins the option to pick pvp or pve when applying the skin, and this has lead me to my question. I have been doing a bit of WvE lately and I was wondering if the weapons I buy with honor tokens are restricted to only WvW? Will I be able to use these weapons in my everyday PVE?

I transferred for WvW reasons. I wanted to explore the entire map, my server and my play time could not arrange for Stone Mist keep in Eternal Battlegrounds to be in our control and so I migrated. It’s only for a week though. I saved my gold, bought a migration, I’ve already got enough gold to pay for my way back and rejoin my guild and friends.

I live in Sweden, I recommend you join Far Shiverpeaks, they have been a really great bunch of people to me on my “vacation” away from my home server. If you don’t want to pay 1000 gems for this, come to our server at Whiteside Ridge.

Hello, I want to transfer servers for a week so that I can finally complete my map. My current server never has control of the center of Eternal Battlegrounds and I don’t think will ever have control.

Sadly a server transfer seems like my only option.

Our guild is 4 people and I don’t want my transfer to affect the guild so if I do this will I disband my small guild? Will my characters leave my guild? Have any affect on the guild at all?

It will only be a short transfer so that I can complete the map.

Second night in a row that the Claw of Jormagg has gone from 50% to 100% in the second phase.

It IS a difficult dungeon, “No it’s not I did it with no armor” types are not likely telling the whole truth. If you happen to get lucky with finding like skilled players it’s going to be much easier for you, if you have one weak link it can prove impossible to get through.

All it takes is for that one person who dies often to distract the rest of the group whilst they apply aid for things to go totally wrong. Another thing to consider is that not everybody has the reflexes of a “nothing to do all Summer” child/teen so if you happen to be grouped with an older person you might find your job harder in comparison.

Not everybody has the same skill/reflex level.

I suggest to you to either find a group of players you can trust to go through the entire dungeon, or hope that the dungeon gets adjusted at some stage.

The bug section is ment for reporting bugs. As stated in the sticky, they dont comment on each bug and what you report here goes straight to the developpers.

If you want support (not the devs) to manually correct this you can ask them by filing a support ticket at support.guildwars2.com (ask a question). Within max 72 hours they will comment on it.

Mind though, they wont take action if it turns out to be a user error and they have limited tools to alter things on the live servers. It might be that they can’t do this for you. It never hurts to ask them though.

No, this was inside the celebration instance. And as I said, my gf had no problems when applying her commendation.

The tickets have a chance to be found in the coffers you find randomly from enemy mobs.

When the forum threads of people opening 1000 coffers to find a ticket surfaced I decided that I would not open a single coffer until I had saved exactly 1000.

The time spent rounding up packs of mobs and then using caltrops to rope them in and then AOE them to death is time well spent as I mastered my tactics without failure (most of the time). As it turned out, my willpower is stronger than I thought as I managed to save 5 stacks of coffers with change.

At some point I asked the missus, “are you saving your coffers or just opening them?”, she would reply, “I just open them”, and I thought that was mad, who wants to open each chest every time they drop? Well she would save them up until she was safe and clear of mobs or finished doing what she was doing and then open like 3 or 4 at a time. I suggested that she save a bunch up and "increase her chances of finding a ticket.

What hubris.

She saved a total of 31 and went to Lions Arch as part of her map completion routine. She opened the first one, I could here her double click them, and then her eyes would track to what prize she just acquired. Candy. She opened the second chest, slowly, like a child on Christmas morning savoring the presents. “BAM TICKET!!”

Naturally I was happy for her as she beamed across from her PC off to find what weapon skin she wanted, she gave me the remaining 29 chests to add to my total.

I went to Lions arch and spam clicked the entire collection hoping for a skin. The first stack of 250 went very quickly, along with my initial phase of hope. The second stack went with a shrug of the shoulders and a sigh. The third stack went and I wished that I just sold the entire collection instead. The 4th stack went and I just didn’t care anymore. The fifth stack and the change went and I knew I had been an idiot to hope for a ticket. I gave my missus enough candy to help her with her achievement, sold the rest and ever since then I would just open a coffer without even caring what was inside, as if it was a bag of Skritt shinies (no offense).

Today, I was questing with the missus and a nagging thought was pestering me like…all weekend long. This pestering annoyance was telling me to save a small stack and then open them all.

Today I saved up exactly 31 coffers. I went to Lions Arch after just completing Harathi Hinterlands with her. 31 coffers saved. I get to the centre of LA and open the first. Candy. I open the second.

“BAM! TICKET!!”

I have one of every class so it’s hard to pick the one I can’t do without. At the moment my thief is very mobile, agile and strong with her AOE, so I am enjoying that. However if I had to pick one, I would pick the one I am using currently, which depends on the day

2 days on and no change to our guild influence

Hello, I completed my personal story and was awarded a 1,000 guild influence token that I quickly used. Our guild did not receive that influence and the token has vanished as if it were used.

My guild mate was successful using her token and we can see the influence from her account, but not mine.

I used the token whilst still in the celebration area at fort Trinity. Please can somebody investigate this and apply the influence. Thank you.

I am trying to get 100% map completion, and everywhere on the regular map shows 100% complete. I just need to complete the WvW maps, as far as I know. Now I see that I have 288 / 301 hearts, why is that? The pvp areas don’t have hearts. Is there a hidden region? Will this have an effect on my attempt?

Currently sitting at 95%

I’m at 89% world complete and have explored the entire map, as far as I am aware, is 89% about right for this or have I missed something?

Currently I am trying to explore the WvW areas and have noticed that it’s considerably more difficult to accomplish Any tips on exploring the WvW areas would be appreciated.

I’m getting a bit tired of the crashing too. I know PCs often mean solving these problems are difficult, BUT, I am dissapoint.

This was a good item to be rewarded with. It’s great writing, it’s a great cut scene and I for one am glad we were not given some currency or item we can replace easily.

I came here to post this too! It’s awesome! My girlfriend said, “it’s your kind of thing” after she had completed it and she was correct. I loved it. Thank’s Anet for putting that in there, it really works and is in my top 5 cut scenes from this game cheers!

Hi, I have Dragon Bash Achievements completed: 7 but I can see that I have completed 8.

Those completed are:

1. 250/250 Zhaitaffy eaten
2. The Big Boom in the big city
3. 150/150 Pinatas pummeled
4. 100/100 Fireworks launched
5. 300/300 holographic minions killed
6. 3/3 Moa races won
7. 20/20 Dragon ball games played
8. 8/8 ship’s council members met

I am one who received his dragon hats early through a game bug. Could this be the cause for this miscount?

Yes. Having all 3 perma-tools on one fast character (thief) means fast easy gathering.

tldr: find a partner

I have 3 characters at level 80 and a 4th at level 25. The missus and I played together and leveled up at the same time, using AOE builds. Just gather as many mobs as you can whilst doing hearts, and AOE them down, stagger your heals. With 2 people this takes no time at all

What we found most beneficial was that we had lot’s of time to adventure and have fun instead of leveling. We would set a goal, say, 5 levels and then go find something else to do like explore a capital, a world event, a jumping puzzle, or even just crafting. Little pauses like that remove the feeling of stress we get when leveling.

Entitlement is a thing for MMO players to try and beat. Come on, I will help you through your crisis!

I want to respect their intellect and seriousness that they bring to each situation but I can’t help but “dawww you wee cute funny wee guy”.

I am not sure if you will read this but my second character is a thief who rocketed to level 80.

Gather up a pack of mobs, aoe them down with the shortbow. Signet of Shadows and the acrobatics tree are your friends. Learn how to dodge, dodge often. Learn to move whilst using caltrops and Clusterbomb + chocking gas from the shortbow.

This class is a lot of fun, and really agile. I found that the warrior class was just a lump in comparison.

I hope you nail this.

The length of the animation and the fact that you can not cancel it is annoying. 3 swings is normally attributed to Mining and Lumber because you receive the materials this way. 3 swings whilst harvesting to receive 1 item is clearly wrong.

And again, you can not interrupt this process.

Please address this issue.

Hello, I have saved 31 Laurels and I have no idea what I should do with them. I know the vendors locations and I see how I can buy things but WHAT do I buy? There are so many choices it’s just mind boggling. Currently I am not really focused on any one character at the moment as I have an 80 Engineer and 80 Thief but I am working on my warrior at the moment, and have plans for a Necromancer, Gaurdian and Elementalist.

Or do I just get the dog? Any suggestions/ideas are welcome

It is true. And right now I am going to be that guy.

It’s been great to run around a dangerous sunny island paradise each day collecting flowers and passion fruit, mithril, and lot’s and lot’s of green items. Fighting off waves of giant Karkas has been amongst the best group events I have done, they are big tough, angry and have left enough player bodies in the sand to keep the danger level convincing.

The jumping puzzle is probably the toughest JP there is, at least from my experience with it and the sheer volume of player complaining in /map. It’s a real challenge and I think it meets the islands expectations as nothing here is easy.

The crab challenge frustrated me for days until I got the hang of it and won, thankfully losing still means you get an item so it’s bitter sweet but, it taught me lot’s about dodging and managing my abilities a bit better.

That’s how I see it anyway.

I’d like the mini pet Raccoon, he looks fun. Raccoons are great. This is why I think a raccoon would be happy with me as their friend. Where and how do I aquire a raccoon?

I live in Sweden and while I usually give a little extra time to postage it seems that 7 weeks is a bit excessive. I am wondering if other Guild Wars 2 players are also in the same boat as me with their orders?
The soundtrack for this game is one of my favorite all time soundtracks and I have been playing games as far back as a 3 year old on his fathers Commodore 64. Soundtracks and music have only ever gotten better until they are so integral that removing them lessens the game. Notable soundtracks that I love would include Baldurs Gate 2, Half-life 2, Skyrim, Bastion and dare I say it…The original Sims (that elevator/ikea jazz, man )

I think Guild Wars 2’s soundtrack is just so awesome that I just had to own it; officially, not pirated nor just a copy, but a physical copy that is even signed!
Lastly, while studying hard this term has left me with little time for gaming save for late evenings, the 5 tracks from the collectors edition remind me that Guild Wars 2 is on my hard drive where it will remain for a very long time.

Is still bugged. There is no ghost on our server, Whiteside Ridge.
Please fix it, please, pretty please.

All classes are done to death because RPG games have covered them all. We only rarely see new ones but they are sort of variants of more well known classes. Despite this, I quite like these sort of threads so here are 2 suggestions.

- Pit Fighter. A savage, berserk type capable of duel wielding a mixture of weapons for lethal savagery or using a 2 hander putting more force into each blow than actually needed. Lot’s of brute force abilities and very little finesse. Also uses a form of combat drugs to boost his/her performance in battle. They might act like temporary stat boosters or HP regen but definetly damage boosting.

- Harlequin. Light weight, agile as a dancer, precision of a fencer who uses a mix of offensive and defensive abilities as they cut through their opponents with dual swords. Lot’s of dodging about cutting at their opponent weakening it down until finally delivering the death blow. Not very resistant to damage but highly skilled at avoiding it in the first place. Lot’s of special equipment (abilities) that keep their weapons sleek and sharp. Can combine their swords to form one good sword that is extra defensive.

In a few of my storyline missions I am having this show up seemingly at random. ‘That content has been temporarily disabled, please try again later’. I don’t know what is going on but it’s getting rather annoying.
