Looking at the ppt during EU times, it’s not as if JQ is suffering terribly. Maybe they just need to organize or create a guild for the people online during that timezone? (Although some reinforcements can’t hurt). As for BG having enough EU now, yes, we do. No one is denying otherwise, and most of us didn’t knew about ZDs joining us (even though that may be temporary). So can we quit this whining now?

Personally, I’m bored. I’m bored of BG, Bored of WvW, and already bored of Leagues. Though to be fair to WvW and Leagues, BG is the single most boring part of it all. Beginning of the week was a karma train rolling over BG. Everyone gets bored and stops logging in. BG logs in and has more presence over a greater part of the maps. SoR do what they always do and consolidate their force. Every encounter with a BG force results in a roflstomp rollover of the BG force. SoR, while loosing PPT, walks across the map with impunity resulting in {pause for effect} a karma train…. the cycle continues ad infinitum.

go to sor or jq. bg has a huge war chest and lotto system recruiting. there is a possibility that bg purposely tanking score to recruit and build up that weapons of mass destruction. bg has a lot of big guilds. plx, riot, wm, knt, icoa, bt, nd, merc, rev, jinx, noc, ons, lp, thai, work and many many more… wm if they come back can queue 4 maps for hours. jq too many pvx guilds and is somewhat weak. they only have the good coverage during sea to keep them running. without that they will lose by at least 100k all the time. sor has limited pve but you can always guest to another server. sor has stable wvw guilds who made them what they are today. their dominance was sealed when they won iron over. eu timezone is unmatched. no guild that ever faced iron in eu timezone in t1 ever stayed around. most either retire or got chased off their respective server.

lol what? Some of the guilds you listed have been inactive for a long time, huge war chest? Suuuuure… and jq can field more pugs in eu time than bg’s eu guilds combined. Do you even play this game?

As for the whole “IRUN” thing, back in the day when you could still see the enemy’s outnumbered status, every time IRON got wiped (I know, that never happens, huehuehue) there would be a countdown in map chat to see how long it would SoR players would be outmanned, I think the record was 10 seconds…

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m inclined to believe you when you say you maphop to respond to a call, cause it happens quite a lot to us as well. Just clarifying why your guild “earned” the nickname.

In fact, we frequently port around to lose the pugs when we find that the group, or zerg if you will, following us is getting too big. I can say that this is not just happening to SoR. RISE has had numerous d/c’s on a nightly basis. I will say SoRBL seems to be the worst though.

Indeed, we had a ton of dc’s and skill lag as well, only on SoRBL though. Rest was fine for me.

Nah, you’re fine as it is. The only server that could use an extra guild or 2 is JQ. Winning a week shouldn’t be a given, you have to work for it. Recruiting more (same goes for bg) would just result in easy-mode.

exactly…both are stupid mechanics. The worst is cata inside a keep firing at their own door and not damaging it. Whoever thought of these deserves a medal. And still all other physics apply. /facepalm

I kind of understand, but then we would need to implement some amo for ac/siege in general. Every shot from a catapult requires say 5 siege, every shot from a treb 10, ac can take 1 each.

O.k. that was a bit of sarcasm about realism applying to GW2. I will agree completely with the OP when aoe caps are removed on siege. It makes no sense at all how I’m raining down hundreds of arrows but can only hit 5 people at a time.

Remove the aoe caps, fix the hacks, make it so aoes from siege are blocked by physical objects and yeah.

An arrow cart can hit up to 50 people at once I believe. There was a dev post about it a few months ago.

Have to disagree with the BG NA being strong, in fact just the other day most of us on SoR were laughing at how bad they do during NA, even with the amount of guilds BG has. If you doubt what I’m saying, then all it takes is a quick look up of MOS to see that BG has barely maintained 200 ppt during NA prime this week.

Not everyone can run around in groups of 60+ during NA and claim they are more “skilful” than others

We have a theory about this. Some of us think that BG does overtime on the weekends pulls 24/36/48 hour shifts. This is why they always have such a good start and dominate the scoreboard on the weekend. Then they burn out and by the begining of the weekday they are either too tired to play or the other part of this strategy is to demoralize the other server by pushing so kitten weekends and get far enough ahead of them that the other server will be too demoralized and behind to win. Then they they have a weak showing on monday and early week becasue all of thief pugs think “haha yea we are sooo good we won this matchup already, lets go do pve” Then next time they check the score board BG isnt winning anymore. and then they are like" SoR and JQ double teams us they cheat"
If this is true IDK its just a theory.

3-4 weeks ago we supposedly barely showed up during weekends and started gaining points from Tuesdays on. Which is it going to be? Make up your mind kitten it

Ha, alive and kicking. Cute. Maybe they’d be a factor if they’d still run the 60 man blob they did the first week they came. They got so scared they were pushed into PvDing EU timeslot then disappeared from being a factor altogether. Name any guild other than RISE, BT or MERC thats transfer in the last few months and still regularly fields 30+. That means everyday.

I think they only fielded 30 when they just transferred and just had a boatload of pugs following them around. As for them being scared, that’s pretty funny, seeing how only a few SoR guild groups actually stay and fight, while the rest of you run away screaming unless it’s in a 50+ zerg. But that’s just my observation from OCE/SEA/EU timezones, I don’t play during NA so that might be different?

As someone who plays on SoR, if indeed your alliance is this large, I do not think it is a good idea for you to transfer to our server.

Right now the tier balance is very fragile.

If you are looking to transfer as an alliance, JQ is the only server that would make the most sense.

It’s safe to say BG needs nothing, when they actually come out and play they pretty much outnumber everyone.

SoR only needs 2 small Oceanic guilds/1 medium guild or 2 small AZ guilds/1 med AZ guild.

JQ needs 2 NA guilds(med/large), 2 OC guilds(med/large).

It’s safe to say SoR needs no more guilds… No shame, lol
