From what I’ve heard, it was awesome watching zerkers collapse.

I got mine and my Minis vanished when I zoned. Contact support?

The old skill system. (Or just Elites/customizable skills that really change things hardcore.)

Point A: At least they didn’t ban you for doing something they obviously didn’t intend.
Point B: Quit crying, is was bull that people could do it, sorry.

GW1 player for 8 years here, I’m quite happy with GW2.
Things I would like to see:
1) Increased skill pool (including elites), weapon variety for all classes, a lot more traits.
This would give the game some solid build depth and variety, which GW2 lacks a lot compared to GW1.2) More rare skin that need to be obtained by killing specific bosses a la GW1.
Honestly most skins are easy to obtain, the hard ones are legendaries which need gold farming to be obtained.
I hope Ascended weapons will be introduced in loot tables of bosses from dungeons, and their skins be actually good looking.
You hit two major things I want. What I want as a 6 year Guild Wars player is the ability to be more creative with my builds. They pretty much just need to continue to build on the game and everything should unfold with this game going far in MMO terms, just like Guild Wars 1.

Please just scrap MF. There’s no point. Kill it now. Kill it.

The way people find Dungeons most at the moment is go to LA and spam the Map Chat with LFG Arah/LFG CoF, etc… it’s annoying.
I also think it would be cool to make racial towns important, more important to go back to somehow, making them more populated, through the use of maybe making them free to teleport to for selected races, adding environment and making it faster, cheaper, and quicker to port back to, since everyone just does it anyway.
One thing I would really like to see would be an easy way to get into Dungeon Parties
without ruining the social aspect of it. I think something awesome would be adding an area in which people can just hang out, a small zone, maybe inside Lions Arch (like a bar or something), that would be free to teleport to like The Mists are, but would be a constant “party” (on top of being an area to find parties for Dungeons.)
I think this game is amazing but I would love to see the social aspect built up more.

The reason I like Agony is because it’s an idea from Guild Wars 1 that makes sense to span into Guild Wars 2.
It’ll probably tie into Mursaat somehow, and that would amazing.
Quote from wiki: ArenaNet has “some really cool plans” for the mursaat in Guild Wars 2.
So while I don’t agree on everything ArenaNet is doing, this meltdown complaining has to stop, calm the kitten down.

Dervish is interesting as Scythes are amazing and with the updated combat something incredibly cool could be done with them.

I have a suggestion to ArenaNet that they do Zones like they did in GW1. There’s the main zone in which everyone would go into up until a certain point, once populated it would throw people into zone 2 which would always exist. Once zone 2 is 40-50% populated it would create a Zone 3, etc., so you can easily decide if you want to be more solo but everyone will be in the same area, and zone 1 will be the most popular to be in (as it’s the main one). I’m not a game designer but this sounds a lot better than the design in place now, in my non-game designer opinion. I’d like to hear what ArenaNet has to say about this type of system, I loved seeing 100+ open Zones in GW1 during Holidays and picking something like 77 so all of my friends could easily just join me and BAM, there we are.

Yeah I really like the GW1 style of things. I know this is Guild Wars 2 but I can’t help but feel the way of getting 15k armor was better. Still had the maximum stats, was easily categorized, you had to get to a certain point in the game to get it, etc. But I guess that’s the same with GW2, but it’s just less obvious. I want Dungeons like the UW/FoW back. Extremely long, make them one path just like the old UW, you have to run ALL OVER and do a bunch of stuff for the Reapers again, etc., etc. Also, fighting Dhuum again would be fantastic.

I only have one thing to post in this thread and it’s that any problems you have with this game are being addressed by ArenaNet.
I love the devotion and work put into this game, and am excited for future updates, bug fixes, expansions, new progress on lore, world areas (Cantha/Elona), Holidays, the works.
I have my complaints. Everyone does. If you expected this to be perfect and fulfill every need, especially a game as ambitious and with a new MMO Combat system like this, you bought it too early.

That’s among the oldest speculations on Kuunavang post-the Movement of the World. But it’s not the case:
1) The Deep Sea Dragon is heavily implied via quaggan, krait, and largos lore to be in the Unending Ocean – not near Cantha.
2) More important, nothing relates Kuunavang to water, the element of the DSD.However, Kuunavang and Glint are compared to each other a bit since the Movement, so it’s likely she – like Glint – was a champion of an Elder Dragon (possibly given free will the same way as Glint, via a spell used by the forgotten who did have a presence on Cantha).
The state of Glint’s child(ren) is unknown. As to the “father” – none, supposedly. Champions of Elder Dragons have the power to create more minions. I’d assume that the child/children were created in a similar manner as her Crystal Guardian/Crystal Spiders, considering the eggs were crystal and all.
I wouldn’t say the Elder Dragons are aware of “every” aspect of each other – since they’re said to be rivals (from an interview with Jeff Grubb and Ree Soesbee).
If they are Rivals I want to see us lose a fight to a Dragon right before destroying it, only to have another Elder Dragon come in and get in a battle with the Elder Dragon about to kills us.
Best. Live. Cinematic. Ever.

WvW is primarily a ranged fight. There is no argument against so. Most of the time in large scale battles anyone that’s bad scuffling into Melee will get killed.
Fixed that for you, because I prove that point wrong every single time I play WvW. I wreck in melee. I’m in a guild full of adamant WvWers, more so than me, many of whom also wreck in melee. If so many people are seeing success, and you’re having trouble, the problem’s most likely between your keyboard and your chair.
I understand if ranged is more your playstyle, but that by no means somehow indicates that melee is broken. My notches beg to differ.
No I run melee in WvW as well, it’s just that in an extremely large scale battle with everyone shooting whatever is closest to them, if you’re the single person closest to about 50 others, you’re going to die. Melee does wreck, but in the instance of extremely large scale it doesn’t really work unless (as I suggested) everyone does it.

But think of this. The numbers are equal. One team is coordinated and has enough balls to charge into melee. Does it matter, now?
(This is also assuming it’s one team versus one team in an open field, not Castle, swords can’t hit people up in Castles/Towers, and we’ll leave it that way.)

Cantha (Corrupt Empire, Jade Sea, Echovald Forest, still overpopulation?) , Elona (Desolation; where Abbadon “fell”, Elon river, Palowa Joko (Bone Palace), Sunspears?); Crystal Desert; Bubbles (Underwater Dragon), Fire Island (Primordus), The Underworld, resurrection of Abbadon!? All things I want to see. Plus Holiday Events. Oh my god Holiday Events. Mad King Thorn!!!

Kodan, Tengu are the only two I can see being a expanded race. Maybe Centaur, because Ventari.

ArenaNet will be fixing Orr for sure. Just the fact that even I was barely motivated to even run through them at all means there is something wrong. This game is still a work in progress, and that’s a very good thing.
Updates; very fun, very good, very innovative Updates are coming, I assure you. I don’t want to naively put ArenaNet under pressure by me assuming they are going to be fixing Orr, or doing any major changes, but trust me when I say that like Guild Wars 1, this game will improve with time, like any well-developed game.

CoF is probably the only dungeon in the game with the right length of explorable mode given how many runs it takes to obtain your items.
Cannot agree more. Could maybe use some more difficulty but it’s not ridiculous.

I think they need to bring Channels back. What happens around Halloween with Events going on in LA, and everyone is there. Overflows/friends trying to join could be nightmareous. Could. I have faith in ArenaNet though, but think Channels is the solution in my own opinion. Whatever they do, though.

I agree that this game needs some sort of arena PvP. I don’t generally do much PvP, but in GW1 I absolutely loved the Random Arena (randomly chosen teams from a queue of 4v4) and guild 1v1s. I don’t know if guild 1v1s are in this game yet, but it would be awesome to have some PvP besides zerg-fest WvWvW and MKOTH.
I would kitten love for RA to come back.

- Those achievements are account wide so all contribute and all can cancel it
- The reason it stays at a fixed number is because thats the highest you have achieved. If you got it to 80K and died, it will read 80K until you pass that amount of XP w/o dying.
Exactly this. I’ve heard it resetting on logout, as if you had died, but don’t know if they fixed it or not.

Rewards and drops are scaled to your level.
This is very awesome.

We have a Mumble and are just looking for any type of player willing to learn, play, get better, group together, run Dungeons, and PvP together + WvW together. We want to be a bigger Guild, a better Guild, stronger, and just have fun and enjoy the game at any pace.
Message me if you’re interested and this topic can be used to chat about the Guild maybe in the future. Mumble is linked inside the Guild.
Kireta
There is not, unless I missed in the options, which I’m pretty sure isn’t there. Suggest it? But it’s mostly for PvP purposes, others (allies, enemies) would like to see you have Aegis up, visually.
