A nice tip for a beginner:
Buy six different minor runes with your choosen stats and apply them to your armor to get 60 more stat points. It makes a huge difference during the first levels.
Yes, when I went AFK in Orr once. People kept reviving me.
lol it’s so much fun to troll afk folks.
I know. I revive Afk players on purpose just to punish them a little for not finding a safer spot.
I just want a cc instant deathmatch atop a jumping puzzle.
I’m looking for an active PvE guild on Gandara, preferrably one that does not require teamspeak or third party websites. I’ve been playing since early access but solo roaming is getting less interesting. My computer broke some time ago so my playtime will be irregular untill I get it fixed.
How about just giving bosses a few seconds of stability after they have been hit by a control skill.
People will still moan that you cannot lock bosses down cause cc should be powerful, like in pvp where it’s prevalent and everyone complains about cc spam. If pvp-ers have it, let pve-ers have it as well.
Of course, players always moan, but at least I won’t have to use 3-5 control skills on my on my character to use cc against bosses.

What I want from a light armor is chainmail and hardened leather that is mostly, but not completely, covered with a robe/coat with an intricate pattern.
How many times have you gone 10 levels and forgotten to spend your trait points?
None. The first thing I do upon level is spending my trait point, even if I’m still in combat.
Always make sure your armor isn’t more than 10 lvl below your level (15 if using rares). Any class will seem weak if you forget to update your equipment.
I like trenchcoats a lot, but a lot of trenchcoats should not mean only trenchcoats. Something entirely different but still medium armor would be a good thing.
I switched from the Naga to the Naga Hex, not because I wanted, but because I accidentally killed my old Naga with a static shock. Poor thing.
I didn’t like the feeling of the new Naga’s thumb buttons, so I went for the Naga Hex. I must say the thing I hate the most is that they moved the 4th and 5th mouse buttons from being next to the left mouse button to behind the mouse wheel.
Whoever thought that would be a convenient place for mouse buttons? You have to hook your finger to a very unnatural position to reach them, especially the one closest to the rear. I had to switch my weapon switching from mouse5 to middle mouse button (wheel) and it takes some time getting used to…
I have a naga with the old buttons myself and I dread the day it will break from wearing out. It’s my (15th)worst nigthmare
The irony of being a plant using drake breath to barberque drakes is delicious.
New emotions, coming soon to GW2.
Unlocked only via special items found opening the BLTC chests.
My (37th)worst nightmare.
Oh man… Doing push ups over dead corpses would be awesome haha!
Not what I had in mind but amusing non the less.
More weapons would be nice. Would increase build diversity.
I’ll just suggest some weapons I think might be work or at least be fun.
(Spiked) ball and chain/flail
Scyte/sicle
Crossbow
Clawed/bladed gauntlet/glove
Swordstaff
Chakrams
Culverin (because who wouldn’t want a portable cannon?)
Just pick and choose from this list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medieval_weapons
I don’t agree with everything the OP said, but but the game still needs more non-exotic/ascended armor skins.
Since there is not a lot of suggestions I’ll post my own then.
Sit ups, push ups, hang ups, forward roll, backwards roll, punch, challenge (to duel), juggle, haggle, complaining, push, pull, moonwalk, throw the glove, smack, slap, feeling insulted, in awe (of), read, fart, faint, unconcious, trip/fall, hug, blow a kiss, high five, lovestruck, fistbump, gesticulate, watch out, worship, slip on banana peel, levitate.

I like the emotes in GW2 but every time I use them (or think about them) I find myself wanting two things:
1. Better access to emotes. It would be nice to have some sort of ingame menu, an overview and/or keybindings for emotes.
2. More emotes. There is a decent amount of them already, but making my character meditate, do gymnastics or walk/stand/sit like a drunk would be awesome.
Lastly I would like to say that if anyone have suggestions for emotes please post them.

This thread is discussing the same problem https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Small-and-Large-Guilds-WE-NEED-THIS/first#post3713600
I currently have 4 level 80 characters (elementalist, guardian, warrior, thief) and I am still leveling my mesmer, necromancer, enginer and ranger.
The OP would have hated the original dailies. PvE and Pvp shared dailies and there were only 5 or 6 of them. Can’t remeber how often I didn’t get them because I don’t like PvP.
I made a thread regarding a similar problem but only one person replied so I assumed noone cared.

Create a customizable countdown timer for guilds to keep track of the events they organize, when to meet up for a world boss or maybe even for discussions and planning.
Maybe add automated messages for guild chat (big risk of spam and abuse though).
Most important though, is that Guilds should be able to have all communication and organizing ingame.
Please add your own suggestions and constructive criticism.

I must admit that I have not spent much time in active guilds for several reasons, but my biggest one is the need to rely on 3rd party services for proper guild management and organization. I don’t want to register on websites or use external apps to do things that the game itself should support.
One problem is that aside from Message of the day there is no way to convey messages to the whole guild, including the members that aren’t logged on, and members that can’t change the message of the day, have no means at all.
There is no place for leaders and officers to write (permanent) information like guild rules, schedule, philosophy or organize events.
There is no way to tell offline members “this is who I am”, “this is what I want to do” or “need help with X”.
I have given these issues a lot of thought and come up with a few suggestions that might alleviate these problems with lack of ingame guild support.
Add a guild tab with one or multiple editable textboxes/fields
Give every member an editable textbox that can be viewed and accessed from the guild rooster tab, where they can write information like: “on vacation, back in a week”,
“will not play for some time due to personal problems”, “contact me for help with dungeons” or “will craft weapons for free!!!”.

In a few months there will a patch that will make it posssible to put 2 sigils on twohanded weapons so if you can’t choose just wait.
