I can do about 1/5 of the bar on my own as a revenant with staff 5 and see it not move after that it just shows me how people are not stunning period among 20-40+ others

ya only doing it dailies for about a week for everything under lvl 50 since i don’t have ascended armor.
the rewards are just plain out crap rng once again, If i wasn’t going for the backpiece I’d probably not do fractals cause its pretty much another gold sink. along with how no one is doing dungeons anymore there is literally only map event farming and cof mastery farming that is all pve has devolved to. hell SW chest Chain is now somewhat more profitable since piles of sand actually drop something useful and people want it.

The only other item in the game that is comparable to this is the preserved bee queen. It requires you to give up an ascended slot and take subpar stats. Yet it still sells for ~2000g.

This item is ascended can be given any stats you want and has an even better effect.

Anyone who expected it to be less than 2000g was just having unrealistic expectations.

i’m part of the hardcore farmers. And I got my herald completed few days ago and i found the 400 limit to be asburded.

again the problem of this is all is anet spent 3 years of gw2 being a casual Friendly game, HoT launches and puts in actual mmo stuff and casuals whine

how is it a bad decision I can finally think of playing different classes now with their elite specs instead of speady at least 24 hours total per a character which i have 9 more who needed their elite spec 2 of which are 100% map so not much worry for those two.

generally I don’t really like with the way anet treats its players but that is just me to most they seem to be a godsend to me their just meh.
mostly typing this because I’m continue to get d/c login errors making most of the game pretty unplayable at times.
Warning grammer maybe poor

Story:
So far I haven’t put much effort into completing this only on mission 5 and learning that masteries did play a part i might as spend time getting Heart of Maguuma masteries done in VB seeing it has the most activity and higher chance of events being complete atm. But from what I’ve played its a bit better then Season 1 and season 2 of living story was handle which those two really put me off from this games story almost completely.

Elite Specs/alts:
having finally completed herald on my revenant since dropping my 3 years of guardian mainly thanks to WvW and base game hero points this pushes players away from playing alts in pve for most parts and WvW till you play it enough to get enough level ups for heroics. some of these elite specs are straight up stronger to have on some classes then before. but I feel it really doesn’t matter since you should be sticking to one class in this game since anet for over 2 years has put in so many efforts to stop alts from being any kinda of use biggest one for me was back before the first dungeon reward change where I could do cof 1 and 2 on all my characters of each class which got me a ton of tokens every day and if i felt like it I would do other dungeons as well but after the change I wasn’t able to do that anymore other then that the only real use is leaving my characters parked somewhere or change up in spvp.

Masteries:
basically putting in basic mmo stuff from my standpoint. Yes its a way to slow down players but since anet has really not made us play that way at all since gw2 launch a lot of players more or less the casual players are kinda of mad at this, thankfully cof1 provides with a means to make central tyria Mastery a lot more bareable, I don’t want to spend a lot of my time going back to old content to get my mastery up I wanted to spend time in the jungle like you advertise anet. currently two major ways is Orr train which probably dead now since Cof1 way. for heart its basically spend a lot of time doing events as well as being limited to what you can do without certain gliding masteries and zones respected lore masteries. Another Stance on this is I understand Ffxiv story way of unlocking content isn’t the best but the way masteries does it make ffxiv way look like a godsend

WvW:
did not care for this aspect of the game really didn’t like the zerg vs zerg and spend time roaming to find nothing but zergs. the new Maps i did get to explore due to Blackgate and Yak’sbend not recapping EB last night. maps are pretty dam confusing there are certainly bottlenecks and I could see why wvw players don’t like this you really can’t tell where a zerg is at because there are to many vertical walls blocking the way compared to the open maps before. the new keep defenders are far better then what we had before for defending making defend far more possible from it seems instead of one sided. again WvW isn’t my strong suit I only got to explore the map once during a Ktrain its nice but pretty overwhelming to any new person to it.

pvp:
finally a new mode and new skills to play with like this is all I asked for from the game since the launch, why couldn’t we of gotten more skills far earlier. Still don’t like skyhammer instant fall deaths are not fun onto others or receiving. Of course the biggest problem is the forcing esport, still pvp has been thru balance hell personally some classes are straight up defeat others again ele for the longest time was pretty hard to 1v1. new rewards are welcome conquest is really old and stale after three years.

Dungeons/Fractals:
Cof1 is love Cof1 provides, honestly if cof1 wasn’t a thing dungeons would be completely dead, as you can not find a dungeon group at all anymore maybe get some guildies together if their willing to get tokens but I don’t see these done as they were before.
Fractals probably the biggest problem of this all while the gold sink is real for this content now, the rewards so far i’ve gotten are underwhelming before and after getting Fractal Rank 3 mastery done. The boxes you get that needed a key if you don’t have the mastery seems you need to sink a bit more gold into buying them outside the stablizations which so far have provided me with enough to keep up with the locked boxes, I have not open them just probably out to see a better sample size now idk if we can keep getting boxes all day as well as keys and matrixs. I do like the 1 fractal mode now far more fair in terms of length instead of forced to sit thru ton of fractals in a row and get next to nothing. Now im only on level 36 because I do not have ascended armor, I’d spend my daily crafts on selling them then hording them because ascended was limited to high level fractals I still don’t look forward to them and with raids and legendary armor coming why should I still make a set when I could save all that gold and or mats for that.

TLDR for drama: casual have to deal with actual mmo game, short and sweet people a mmo probably isn’t the game for you if you can’t handle a bit of grind, play aion/tera or any korean game then complain to me about grind. thou a legit problem is gating content behind masteries

ever since last night I keep getting pic related every few mins making the game pretty much unplayable in any pvp aspect and barely in pve aspect.

can’t do dungeons because i’ll end up d/cing and or on other players screens look like im doing nothing or running into walls. where on my screen outside unable to do anything I can see them fine and move around.

I’ve dns flushed and everything this is not on my end.

I tried the GW2 support page fix to this “common problem.” It directs you to port forwarding to open up ports 80, 443, and some other one.
I went ahead and did all of that and I still have the same problems.

So if someone decides to do this same thing, don’t waste your time. It won’t work.

ya no its clearly on their end of the deal. literally nothing else wrong on my computer only game that is lagging and losing connection is gw2. tried flushing my dns as well did nothing

didn’t realize it till bit later thought it was only fractal relic pieces boy was i wrong and got screwed out of 20g but least i saved a few slots but still. they nerf Dungeons into the ground and at give still kitten rewards out of Fractals at least till mastery.

Skill>gear first wing forsure but depending on what drops ascended armor/legendary armor parts?
I had a fight with a kittened guild member that was zealous in ascended or they aren’t bringing them.

Like it wouldn’t matter if a person was fully ascended if their dead and kitten they are not bringing anything to a raid.

Ascended armor main use was to make it required ar for higher fractals in which I hated fractals in design and length wasn’t hard but pugs did drag on if 1 or 2 players can play right. Like weapons and trinkets are not hard and should be base point of any player now but the armor is not going to make or break these fights.

its gonna come down to all that friendly casual time this game has had for last three years are gonna test guildships and such because to be frank you are gonna have to put your foot down if a player is preforming poorly.

the thing is one I don’t really like fractals in design just terrible and long and rng factors but not hard capable of doing 30+ with just 25 AR.

the other side ascended armor mats make me a lot of gold every day 17 just for the damask alone.

and since I wasn’t a big fan of Fractals I choose to get more gold all the time. but now their forcing ok you guys better gear up with Raids etc on the way they said they recommand full ascended but I assume the basic would be right side and weapons at least ascended which I do have I just don’t have the armor.

if they want it to go right make make ascended drops far easier or cut out the time gated kitten. if you want it somewhat cheaper you need to spend at least a month of craft time to get full set.

why should I get ascended armor anyways now since there is gonna be legendary armor that will be any stat i need for the armor type. So glad i choose to make more money over ascended armor that only real place in fractals. and as they said you could have mix ascended pieces and exotics I mean the most basic of ascended kitten should be every item is ascended besides the armor

I have played over 4000 hours of GW2, spend over 1000 dollars on gems. I find the game at its current state very relaxing. I hate games like wow because all the elitist jerks and the bad graphic. Yes true wow have very good raid, but the best content is inaccessible for 98% of the people and the best gear are all take by the 1%. Pls dont make this game like wow. Pls dont turn this game into an elitist fest thank you!

wow is easy lol, raid boss was killed in the beta already if your really fearing the better players mmos in general aren’t what you want to be playing. spending 1000dollars in gems why if you can put in 4k+ hours you should easily have enough gold to support yourself.
Stop expecting to be baby because you aren’t gonna want to strive for anything better if your handed kitten.

hell I am ok with Cof path 1 farming It reminds me of gw1 cof days and other dungeons.
that said fractals has been the worst dungeon experience I have ever had in a game.
I have more of the problem with the complete rng of it both in rewards and fractals you get while its understandable its still pretty bad.

with TBA raids we’ll armor basically
with fractals we’ll be force to do this for our dungeon experience and I don’t want that.

this is probably the first time I’ve seen a mmo go like ok dungeons throw them away now, with ffxiv there is a lot of reasons to go back and do older dungeons glamour armor/weapons/and classes relic weapon as well as a decent way to gain exp besides fates and questing.

for me its more they are trying to force people to get hot then ok ease them into hot no either you get hot or your left behind and a big middle finger to players like me who for most part log in do a few dungeons log off,

It feels like the economy changes are basically – we took the things you enjoyed doing in the vanilla game, that gave you rewards, and took those rewards and put them in something you don’t enjoy doing so if you want to keep having fun you need to buy the new content (because we also made sure that stuff is rewarding) otherwise you are just going to be farming nodes n stuff like that.

basically this there is such a driving force behind to FORCE you to upgrade to the expac.
as it stands ok so you giving us 4 new maps(while they may be bigger they are still maps and maps don’t take long to fully complete exploring wise), no new max level while nice there isn’t that need to spend a good amount of time leveling like other mmos do to help spread out the game so to speak ffxiv did it pretty terribly since they nerf Heavenswards fates to worst then base games so basically quest old fates and dungeons to level to 60. don’t mind but there is non of that fluff to slow down players.

I’ve been reading basically the three legendaries they show are the only ones ready. as well as raids not being there at launch
so we are basically getting bit new pvp stuff new wvw map 4maps and fractals. and basic features like guild halls finally. I did not pre-order heart of thorns I am putting my foot down And waiting for third party site deals I not paying full price for some of an expac.

few problems story and maps could easily be done in a sitting. if any living story is example all those were done in an hour or so season 2 episodes just felt to be dragging on about oh dragon this dragon that egg salad people etc.

lets compare to how ffxiv handle it. for 1 people needed to reach max level which was bump up by ten levels as well as fates(events) not giving much exp in the new zones making leveling having A huge steep exp requirements to hit 60 so 2-3 weeks is a reasonable amount of time needed to get to max level and start gearing. now I leveled a machinist which starts at lvl 35 and i had to reach 50 then start on HW stuff which took me about 6 days in total since story parts were very lengthy but very very engaging hands down best story I have ever experience in a mmo or in a game in a long time.
now delaying Alexander for ffxiv Is by all means very reasonable everyone was on the same page.

now look at gw2 your still max level raids from what they said you gonna need a mix of ascended at least which base ascended parts any player should have everything minus the armor(the most expensive wasteful part of it since it does not effect stats greatly and is mainly for 40+ fractals)
and with the delay of raids so they just expect us to do 1 fractal a day till the first one comes out as well as legendaries a large amount of them being on hold. guess what we’ll be doing for few more weeks OLD DUNGEONS STILL. it is like no at anet is using their dam head. hell when gw2 first launch it did not take me more then a week to get 100% world since i mainly level thru 100% maps. only thing back then is people were still discovering how to do dungeons which first week of arah explorable was a nightmare.

I am kinda of glad anet push me away from their game ages ago cause I’m waiting till I see some nice third party site deals for heart of thorns

As someone who runs most if not all dungeons paths on two accounts sometime daily. this is a big slap into the face for my second account mainly since I barely plan on buying hot once thru a third party site for 40 bucks(the price it should be offered for people who already have had an account like most other expansions do don’t need a 10 dollar char slot i can already get for free)

The game needs more gold sink if its an econ issue you took a small one away the armor repair, you also took some of it away with how they treat alts in this game.

Problem with Fractals i have. i usually pug them since anyone i know who played this game has never returned to it. rewards nothing short lvl 30+ and you’ll finally start seeing something worth the time, only way to do 50 is to have ascended armor I still refuse to get the armor side the gold I can make alone from selling the mats daily is far better then just doing 1 lvl 50 a day of course I don’t get those very small chances on fractal skin and other fractal exclusive stuff which really doesn’t bother me much.
now maybe Hot will finally make Fractals worth a dam but then your getting rid of base dungeons anyhow so its just gonna be Fractal and TBA raid for dungeoning content. I mean hell you still haven’t manage to buff Aetherpath rewards all this time.

Idk what your doing anet it does not sound appealing to me and it is really off putting. I want to enjoy this game more but it still feels like your pushing me away.

This is a huge mistake, even if it wasn’t what the hell am I supposed to do when I log in? 1 fractal island and the weekly raid and then what? wait until next week to play the game again? Even fractals are being reduced to 1 island and are being given substantially better rewards, even the people that can barely put in 10 minutes a week will be able to complete all of the content within a month or two, this is the only game I have ever played where developers are actively removing content or the incentive to do it, between living story season one with all the temporary stuff, moving dungeon rewards to pvp and now this why would anyone run dungeons ever again?

As someone that hasn’t bought the expansion what the hell am I supposed to do?

its time to change game. As someone who has played since headstart and for last year been very off and on. its taken 3 years to finally give something and probably the only thing i wanted added to the game new skills. I love mmos I’ll try as many as i like and play a few heavily at a time. FFxiv offers great experience overall but does a really nice pve experience as it stands. Wildstar has a nice combat system, gw2 has a nice relaxing feel(since pvp/pve/wvw is pretty easy)

on one hand I kittening hate fractals worst reward for time ever put in a game same with aetherpath. their answer is nerf the dungeons that is not the right way to go about this. Add more gold sinks add better rewards to Fractals and tba raids. I already barely log in do a few dungeons and world bosses and go back to playing wildstar/bloodborne/ffxiv. And atm warhamer end times upcoming game is gonna be tied for hot Release date the expac is looking less and less appealing the closer it gets to being released.

the game has been on a dry spell of content since jan. with only fixes/changes to condi and traits.

Don’t you see folks your basically the new Wow drones they wanted they want you blindly eating out their hands every month hey buy our gemstore item(i know some people farm for gold for the exchange but that is not fun and why I stopped playing and sort of moved on to ffxiv) I was hoping they would turn a new leaf with hots i mean hell they finally STarted opening up to the public with what they are doing for the most parts but this is down right greedy what they have been doing.

Based on what’s revealed so far, this is how much the expansion is worth to me.
1) New Map = $5
2) New Story = $5
2) New Profession = $5
3) New Non-RNG skins (weapon, armor) = $5
4) New group content = $0
5) New dynamic events = $0
6) New dungeons = $0
7) New guildhalls = $0
8) New PvP Mode – Stronghold = $5
9) New WvW BL = $5

Thus I am willing to buy the expansion no more than $30.

If I forgot to list anything, it would probably worth $0 to me anyway.

Odd to me that the new group content, dynamic events, guild halls, and possible dungeons they’re adding are worth nothing to you. …would you honestly prefer to have each bit separate from each other kitten DLC? Because that’s what you’re asking for. I personally think it’s much better to do it the way they’re doing as a complete package.

Anyway, in regards to OP — yes, I’ll definitely be buying GW2 HoT!

As a side node, if I’d been paying $15/month for a subscription, then I’d have paid close to $500 already. I’d gladly buy this expansion even for $60.

adding stuff that should of be already added or at launch worth more then 30 dollars what? the hell you spend 500 dollars on this game that is more then a sub game like ffxiv which doesn’t remove content after a month(everything before season 2)

If it is priced around $20 -$30, then sure!

this their adding some basic features that was at launch for gw1.
It shouldn’t be a costly if they want people to buy it. and for me someone who is kinda of salty with the lack of stuff they added to gameplay wise for past 2.5 years but still sort of play it from time to time.

Race change still not a thing

As for race change, unlike most games, there is a personal story in this game that is linked to race. There isn’t going to be a race change for that reason.

which is a bullkitten reason as I kinda of stated there are restrictions to Races in other games as well armor and probably your race being question in quest or story. and when those games allowed race change they’ve basically given completed version of said choices but nothing extra out of them.
and personal story was just really just a story that give you a bit of info on where you were playing up till the pact then everyone experiences the same kitten

Why is this so service so hard to add.
other games have race restriction and such but still have race changes as a service the players can buy why doesn’t gw2 have this basic service for its players.

I want to change my human female thief To something else because they removed the idle animation and changed the running animation.
I want to change my asura necro because they armor really does show on a small model.

other things I have problems with.

after 2.5 years of the game being out among the lack of new skills and etc which finally seem to be happening but only till the xpac. Yes I see the specialization is laying the ground work for possibility more to each class further down the road but this xpac is pretty late if you ask me

all I can say price wise for Heart of thorns should be around 40 which is the normal for an “expansion”(their adding basic kitten to the game that gw1 had in far less time like guild halls which were at launch for gw1. and new skills in about 6 months after launch) 50-60 for some collector’s kitten anymore would be a sign to me of greed but again the gem shop is greedy as well as time wasting to farm needed gold for exchange.

So I’ve seen some changes for the game and they really aren’t working well with me.

Camera position for one. I’ve have all tall characters and I already used the one makeover kit and short norns aren’t my style. first picture is before I stop playing early last year the second one is after I came back and third one is after i used makeover kit and put the slider half way.

among other things that were changed and bother me so much it is really hard to get back into this game(this page would turn into a wall of text). And considering the other mmos have done more in less time gw2 has been out. hell gw1 did more.

To me as a long time gamer it is hard to understand what anet is up to since they tease the hell out of each patch only for the player like myself to get absolutely nothing from it other then more gem store stuff that you either need to spend time farming gold(which really I don’t mind but it does take a lot of will to do so) to exchange for or 20 or so dollars to buy gems.
think about it have you ever bought gems how much has it all added up plus buying the game. if you gone over 70 bucks for gems you’ve could of payed for a copy of another more recent mmo and year long sub with all its content still in the game and not worry that content is gone due to it being limited timed living story events(mostly season 1 stuff season 2 was bit nicer on this but if you didn’t log in for those episodes fork up some gems).

and now this expac hype due to forecast earnings. honestly all I can say it better be jammed back full of fresh game because combat sure is stale with lack of new skills for past two years new weapons new classes at which refer to the reddit post gw1 did in less time.

I need a reason to come back fully for more then build another legendary, play an unbalanced pvp(due to lack of new skills) with stale gamemodes(outside that 1 new map that I have to play in unranked) and maps(skyhammer is literally the worst map ever created). and basically achievement hunting.

it really killed my joy with the game with alts.
9 80s and 10th slot for keys.
I used to run cof 1 and 2 7 times a day. then if really felt like farming do another dungeon like ac or se.
but now I barely log on anymore.

iunno why people keep going back to, oh you could do perma prot… hammer builds are bad in pve.

hammer build bad in pve. sorry what
hammer build is the single strongest pve build in the game is greatest and only alt to Gs/s build.
consent dmg consent Prot buff consent big aoe(larger symbols)
gs/sword build ya nice dmg but higher risk of being on the floor.
a great knockback for bosses to get into a corner.
blast finisher
ya it gets kittening boring but dam is it hard to replace in survivability and have a decent dmg output with great group benefit. while the Gs/s build is all about your dps.

the problem is they kittening done nothing with the guardian since launch.
new healing skill blockpvp and signet pve far superior
new traits other then 3000 hp trait for wvw everything else is useless.

    1. When the pet is stowed, the Ranger should gain “aspect of the <pet name>” effect which provides unique buffs based on the pet family and specific pet.

Please don’t do this. When I make my build and play the game, I want to select a pet and work alongside it to succeed. I don’t want to select a static buff that’s just going to sit there.

And no, it will not be “optional”. I foresee a future where rangers who use pets instead of the Aspect Of the _ will get auto-kicked from most elitist parties.

I’d kick longbow rangers because non of their kitten helps the party they stand so far spotter and spirits don’t effect party and longbow dmg is not great even buffed from proc vigil/potion/zerker/color/food highest rapid fire I saw was 20k, now a warrior can easily do over that in 75explorable dungeon(cof).

and at least with stow pet for achievements like don’t talk dmg from certain things like the scarlet hologram once your pet touches that ground aoe you fail the achievement.
if I do dungeon on my ranger I roll gs/sword/horn because all my kitten works when i’m near allies I also put down a healing pool.

at least for and example bear stowed gives you defensive boost making you survive far better in close combat.

I’m feeling op as well.
some key problems with gw2.
limited time content that some were enjoyed greatly arent around to go back and enjoy.
lack of weapon/skills/traits having loads of skills to play with customize made gw1 great why don’t we have more of them after the first + some months after gw2 launched.

zerker nerf its not require I and a lot of other players do not get this zerker is not the problem condi in pve is the problem. do what they did in gw1 and fix skills accordingly to each aspect of the game pve skills will act differently when in a pve zone and same goes if you were in a wvw or spvp zone.

Spvp you tried to force sports to early. lack of game modes conquest is the most boring mode I have now ever played. as well as lacking in build variety(more weapontypes/skills/traits) while spvp is more friendly to condi builds your either tank/dmg tank/condi or zerker thief. As well as trying to blanace traits/skills for both pve and pvp separate them and kitten gonna be lot better just like in gw1.

gear/Grind people are forced into grinding if they want ascended the cost of mats are now insanely high for darmask/ignots. besides ascended weapons everythign else offers such very little stat increase for cost/time required to get them. money or time isn’t much of my problem anymore but for majority of players it is.

with the feature patch in some unknown date sometime in April probably and most likely after teso launch is pretty risking. I’m not scared of teso ever overtaking any but it might catch some of the drones of some odd terrible game syndrome and defend it like it was best thing in world which it is not but not gonna go off in detail about how terrible that cash grab called a game is.

what left of peoples hope now is in that feature patch. for me if it doesn’t deliver new weapon type/skills/traits or something along those lines. I’m gonna have to call it quits for Gw2.

Personally I hated LA with a passion. If I go somewhere for crafting I go to black citadel drop some things off in the bank Black citadel. only thing that La had was dungeon vendors and mystic forge and those I rarely use.

you don’t need to pay real money into gem shop but the exchange rate is getting pretty high.

groups stack anyhow so this build is best and provides prema protection upkeep
the symbol hammer build.
now you could change out a lot with this build third skill could be reflect or aoe fire/cleanse just know when to switch them. or more power which doesn’t help the group much other then more dmg so other two are probably better.
want more shouts take out large symbols for faster recharge and put in hold the line.
everytime that protection symbol pulses your getting healed provide vun on enemy up to like 3-4 stack upkeep and protection 33% reduced dmg to your party.
and you can pop your virtues for instant heal/ regen more protection and might buff to your group.
glacial heart is nice its like frost version of sigil of fire.
you can also switch in strength in numbers you can switch a lot up in this build.

armor celestial/zerker both work Celestial deals bit less dmg but dam all that healing/toughness/vit you get from it without much drop in dps. zerker if your not careful you might get downed but you should stay with 70-100% hp all the time still.
sigils dmg/crit chance your symbols do crit staff I run hydro chil

downside ITS INCREDIBLY boring as hammer auto is basically all your gonna do. banish boss to get into corners and your blast finisher for more might if your running purging flames which is nice or any other fields.
basically start the fight in staff empower symbol swap mighty blow auto attack the rest the fight if you need to dodge away mighty blow back into the fight also dodging heals.

I know about the Gs/sword build but if it pug you’ll probably get downed a lot and that is just less dmg being done and your only providing quick burst/ a lot of vun stacks for a amount of time. I fine the GS/sword build more selfish then this build your just providing big dmg burst while the hammer is always dealing dmg while buffing allies.

The hammer protects the hammer provides never doubt the hammer.

PVP: SEPERATE pvp skills/traits from pve GW1 style was the best pvp I’ve played in early to end of it. probably throw wvw in its own as well but not to far from it since its sort of linked with pve.
in gw1 all pvp skills had their own rules and balance for player vs player. You can not balance the two together and expect it to be fine.

PVE: fractals aka RNG hell. last run of level 32 fotm I did was fine but The unrewarding nature of it was horrblie to spend and hour in something and get few cores that could or could not be onyx or charged. The gold reward while added was nice but its under whelming to what I can do in cof path 1 in 7 mins plus few other paths in less then an hour. fotm isn’t a challenge unless one or number of the players aren’t pulling their weight it just lot of time put in to get so little in return.
dungeons add whole another one like the ones in game already or add better rewards for a lot of tokens like 1-2k tokens per an ascended armor/weapon. for now most old dungeons are ran for some easy group farming that isn’t Champion train Fotm Is avoided because higher levels take quite some time in a pug and I honoestly don’t know anyone who still does it after just getting their ascended rings and back piece
More skills/weapons(types classes getting new weapons or weapons they haven’t been able to use before and so on traits to go with them and such)

EOTM: I enjoyed it for being smaller and faster. probably captureing the garrisons provided each borderland with slight advantaged. or have supply gens to slowly give troops supply overtime like 1 supply every 5 mins upgradedable from the Camp.

Proffesions/Classes: More skills, more traits(possibly second proffesion like in gw1, and more weapon types(Greataxe, polearm, landspear/javelin, scythe DERVISH LOVE, and such).

1. Ranger gw1 ranger was awesome till some nerfs Gw2 pet is incredibly useless pulls kitten puts you in combat dies a lot even with more hp. its greatest dmg is sword 1 which sometimes makes you just keep leaping off in some distant galaxy.
2.Engineer I don’t even see these guys in pve. also legendaries should impact your kits which have more use in pve.
3.Mesmer sword’s leap skill sucks very short range and sucks most the time. clones are pretty bad.

if your getting downed as a guardian your not doing a very good job at playing the game

now for warrior I like condi dmg for pvp bleeding/fire and for pve is standred greatsword and axe/mace. pve dmg is easily obtained with this class and has a large health pool even in full zerker. again right now high pve dmg pvp you don’t see many other then stun lock build just like in gw1.

never fear of dying go guardian your dmg isn’t gonna be great beyond gs spin in high level content some videos on it and everyone loves your buffs.

warrior your a greatsword that deals dmg you’ll probably get downed more times then a guardian.

I’d love to play my alts but anet doesn’t like that. I’d like to play other classes in dungeons but hammer guardian makes dungeons a breeze. if they do a big patch with like new weapon skills/types and traits and utilities i’d probably swap out from being a guardian because one I’ve played it for to long and its boring.

old thread but I’ll bite.
Anet has killed alts or reason for alts. people who bought char slots basically useless beyond easy item space.
WvW not being account bound don’t know why they didn’t this have with it at launch of it at least they are finally adding it but still should of been there at rank launch.
dungeon tokens and such I use to do cof 1 and 2 6 times a day took about 2-3 hours depending on speed of getting a group and quality of group.

all my alts just gather dust or cost a lot to put better gear on them.

Time gating is horrible in every way it stops people from wanting to play almost all day to only few hours this happen with me in wow oh limit number of tokens you can have on the account to stop the flow of income and kitten and to equal out power among players to if you can log on for few mins a day. If you want to get better or get more money you should be allowed to. and its gotten worst with the cost of ascended armor/weapons and gem exchange sky rocketing every patch.

It happened in GW1 and it’ll happened in GW2.

There’s nothing wrong with selling spots, as long as they don’t exploit to get through the dungeon.

They’re selling the services of soloing (or duo-ing) the dungeon.

this guy Gw1 had this almost everything was soloable people who didn’t know how to solo or couldn’t bought those runs in the case of gw1 cof both runner and people getting ran won because 1 the cost of cof run was the same as the reward the runner would just get more profit then everyone else.

First off hell ya bolt is fix in the sense you don’t see double after a attack swing or swap and see it floating in the air.

sadly it is now underneath us.
doing some champions today I usually quickly strafe when bored to see bolts footsteps effect notice something else bolt itself popping in and out of the ground.
