I can confirm that this build is very good for skirmishing. Be careful for boon removals though.
I think the reason behind the waypoint cost is that Anet simply wants you to walk around and do dynamic events along the way, helping other players.
I would suggest no waypoint cost for Lion’s Arch though.
This is actually great. I’m sick and tire of people running the same paths, doing the same strats over and over again.

Not sure exactly what you mean. My equipped shield trait was replaced by the glacial trait. I looked at my traits and noticed I had glacial equipped. Then I looked through all the toughness traits for the shield trait and it`s not there. For them to add a completely new trait and retain all the old ones they would need to update trait UI to accept and have room for another skill, which the toughness does not have enough room for, They went and replaced the old shield trait with new hammer one. I just went and equipped all the traints on and off to see if any gave a +90 toughness boost while wearing my shiled and none of them worked.
Try Honorable Shield trait, it should give you +90 toughness. The tool tip hasn’t been updated yet.
Do you know how to read? Just because a profession loses 1v1 doesn’t make it bad.

Necro must be such a huge credit to teams in your opinion then. Here’s how useful ‘your’ necro sounds:
- bad at 1v1 -> bad at skirmishing/cap points
- can’t hold 1v3 for good -> can’t hold points
- poor CCs and condition damages
What a useless post. So you’re saying Necro is fine at PvP because you can “hold your own” (i.e. not die for 15 seconds) against bad players? You cannot destroy any class 1v1. A good Mesmer, Thief, or Engi will stomp you.
Necro spec’d for survivability and condition is unkillable in 1v1. Good necros can also hold 1v3 fights for a very long time.
Neither of those statements are even close to being true.

I think it would be a much better skill if it has knockback damage.

The problem with the Mesmer is their base health.
Mesmer’s base health : 15k
Thief’s base health : 10k
One is glass cannon, the other is WTF.
The amount of time needed to kill a Mesmer is beyond ridiculous right now. This needs to be addressed immediately.
