Conjured weapons - suggestion

The problem is there so fundamentally different to they way an ele plays that its purely meant for allies and its not efficient in combat it has to be prepared (mainly due to the fact that one instantly spawns in your hand). Conjures blocking all your attunement rotations destroys the weapon. i think one solution would be to be able to spawn one conjure weapon at a time pick either on ally or on your self and it can be stowed and un-stowed(or used again) until its charges run out. basically giving the ele another attunement and each conjure can be summoned depending on the attunement that they are currently on( like earth shield on earth, fire axe on fire, bow on water etc.). and have like a 80-120 cd .

hey guys i remember an item called swift moa feathers and gw2 wiki and dulfy say its sold by tigg in one of the snow places cant remember of the top of my head but i went over there to get some for my wvw mes but he doesn’t sell them anymore do you guys know where to find a move speed food/nourishment

you guys have to remember it also effects animation time on all other skills like final thrust and cyclone axe thingy. What i want to know is does axe 5 dps increase significantly with the 10% increase in speed

New weapon

A chain sword whip grappling hook type thingy ( dual wielded)

weapon will prob have a range of like 500 – 800

first skill 3 part chain
1st- throw one chain towards foe
2nd- throw other chain towards foe
3rd- rip chains off with an x motion i guess

stealth – you become stationary for duration of skill hits enemies 3 times equivalent to 3 auto attacks duration of skill 1 1/2 sec

2nd skill ( core of weapon) range prob be at like 800 – 1000 maybe by a trait who knows
- (ground targeted) throw both chains towards targeted location if its an enemy pulls you and enemy towards each other. if it does not target an enemy pulls user to targeted location evading attack.

  • i was thinking this should cost initiative and energy to use like 1/4 of you energy or 1/3

3rd skill
- large sweeping motion stuns enemies if you hp is lower then theirs, if your hp is not lower then enemies its a daze 1 1/3 secs ( can be used while grappling to a targeted location in conjunction with skill 2)

4th skill
- a spinning motion pushing back enemies ( really simple)

5th skill
- brings chains down with great force dealing high damage but extra damage if you hit target at end of the chain

  • was thinking about having every skill deal bonus damage if you hit them and the tip and have that bonus damage as our main burst just to have more skill and timing involved

what do you think

if a weapon like this makes it into the game i would be in heaven but probably not

Or just make Rampage as One really a Rampage as One thing. Like, make it so you and your pet just merges into a single entity and you gain stat bonus depending on which pet you just absorbed.

keep it a different type of thing instead of a signet it doesn’t have to be a signet. idk just an idea thought it would be cool because the health thing that a-net said ( splitting pet health’s into 2 one for pve/wvw and another for spvp) is great but what about roaming in wvw increasing health there might make the pets op but in a zerg the increased health is a must….. so this elite might help for this. we are still losing the utility and F2 skill that pets bring if we lose them.

I heard A-net planning on making legendary back items so i was thinking they should make capes and robes that would be pretty cool.

i was also thinking that they should make legendary weapons be equip-able to your back item slot and appear on the players back. so that players who crafted a legendary don’t seem restricted to using one type of build just because they made a legendary instead of a hammer etc. this way the can use a diffrent weapon set but still be able to show of there legendary no need to add effects on the skill animation or foot falls but foot falls would be an add bonus

i was thinking of a new elite or just one merged with rampage as one.

the elite would have a passive and an active effect or just passive

passive- when pet dies gain a small buff to all states
active- sacrifice pet to double state gain from passive ( puts all pets on a 180 to 200 sec cd and stows all pets)
i was thinking this could be added to rampage as one or at least the passive effect.

  • understand prob not going to happen has pets are getting a health buff in pve and wvw only, but might be a good change to rangers.

I really want a high skill cap power weapon that relays on precise timing on dodges and skill dodges to survive and perfect timed interrupts to do damage.

skill no. 4

Backward Slash- 1st part- jump back wards evading attack (1/2 sec) (half distance of a reg. dodge) and daze enemy
2nd- dash forward dealing more damage if enemy is at half or lower health.

skill no. 5

Blitz – circle around the enemy evading attacks (1/3 sec or 1/4 sec) and deal bonus damage if hit enemy in the back
OR

3 strike fang – lock’s user in place and hits enemy 3 times in rapid succession evading attacks during its duration

all these attacks base damage is ok without the bonus damage from the conditions required to do bonus damage

thoughts……

i think all conjure weapons should all be merged into one.
for example:

Conjure Arcane Weapon:
conjures a weapon based on attumient
fire- 2 fire swords
water- frost bow
lightning- lightning hammer
earth- earth shield

fire sword

1st skill- 3 stage attack (basically thiefs sword 1 skill)
2nd- (dragons charge)- charge towards enemy doing aoe blast damage at the end (burning speed almost) very hard to line
3rd- 2 parts ( does not home in whe dashing forward, like burning speed)
1st- flip backwards dazing enemy
2nd- dash forward dealing more damage if enemy was interrupted
4th- flip over target evading attacks and dealing damage ( almost like leaping death blossom)
5th- block 3 attacks and apply torment 5 stacks

frost bow
(pretty much same thing)

1st skill- does more damage (maybe not)
2nd- same
3rd- added effect cleansing wave
4th-same (could heal in targeted area)
5th- same

lightning hammer

all same accept for 4th skill
4th skill- swing hammer around you (knockdown)

earth shield
all same

conjure arcane weapon would have a long cool down and have a set time frame or have charges and act like a enge kit

this idea would allow players to use the 2 more utlilites with the arcane weapon to make it more effective.
*also think there should be heavy treating required to use conjure arcane weapon to be a main source of damage balancing it

very rough start have to think of cd times after casts range and all that stuff

4th skill could be like hit 3 times in quick succession initiative cost of 6

5th could be block 3 attacks and counter attack ( desencent damage maybe even torment) 6-7 initiative aswell

i was thinking that the weapon should be very fast burst weapon like slowly tick the enemies health bar with fast attacks that to medium damage so has pretty much same time to kill has a dagger but just doesn’t have one attack that does its spike damage

i was hoping that this weapon would be very average until someone master the timing of the 3rd skill 4th and 5th skill ( something with a very high skillcap)

with the block i wanted something that could get us out of tough situations these set has no on weapon bar stealth, but still the block should be able to provide damage buff with care full timing.

for 4th skill i wanted another dodge skill really so it doesn’t fell like we are just spamming no. 3 ability all over again (main reason why i dont like daggers)

but i can also see a good situation skill be put into the 4th skill slot

Hey guys!
wanted to discuss a dual sword idea for thief’s
play style: dodgey, and timed burst (no stealth skills on weapon set)

first 2 skills are the same

3rd skill – 2 parts (3 initiative for first part and 2 initiative for second)
1st part- flip backward dodging attacks (regular dodge distance or half of the reg dodge distance)
2nd part- dash forward to target dealing damage; deal double ( or just higher damage) if a successful dodge.

  • also thinking it could be flip backwards dazing target and the do extra damage if you interrupt enemy with the dash*

4th skill- ( 4 initiative) slow ground smash with both swords (easy to dodge but if land does good damage like dragons tooth ( also invulnerable for half the duration of the skill but has an after cast)

5th skill- also 2 parts (6 initiative)
first- block attacks for 4.5 secs and charge energy
second- release stored energy
0 blocks- aoe blind and aegis
1 block- protection and retaliation
2 blocks- fury and 5 stacks of might
3 blocks- fury and 5 stacks of might
4 blocks- quickness 2-3 sec
5- blocks- all buffs and cure all condi ( lyssa runes 6 effect)
6- all debuffs applied to enemy
7-11 blocks- all buffs to self and all debuffs to enemy
12+ – full heal

  • idea is to be able keep track of all the blocks and use them accordingly to situation*

all ideas open to suggestions and tweaking

oh and stealth skill would be initiative regen thingy

you using impale to start the battle leap in and rip then auto attack to half health bulls charge and final thrust then flurry switch weapons to interupt cast animation and then whirlwind finally evis.

yeah after some games with the conjure weapons i natural find my self not using the auto attacks specialy the bows auto attack and that is cutting its dps but alot.

is it me or are the skill animations for rangers really boring and simple. This is one of the reason why i dont main a ranger. i have played ele just for the frost bow and firing that bow is so cool due to its skill animations or projectile animations.

as a fellow i thief i feel like the reason why people say thief are op is not because of back stab or stealth but heart seeker strike being able to be spammed…as a thief i feel like we do not need to spam HS for our dps so i think raising the initiative cost will stop a majority of the whining. what do you guys think i don’t want the skill to be changed like its function because i need that for my d/p build but i also think i don’t need to spam that skill. Thoughts?..

i also think that this game should have a personal ranking system like a symbol (maybe actual military ranks)after your name that represents your rank to give players more motive to pvp. since this game has no superior armor there needs to be other motives for players to pvp. I don’t know how many of you guys played a game like Shayia which had a rank system for the individual that would give extra states. also in shayia they had a bless system were when a faction was winning in pvp they would get something called bless that drastically increased everything for like 5 min that was really cool and motivating to pvp then .I am not asking for extra states but maybe like for max pvp rank 5% increase in gold or magic find something like that i think Aion has a system like that as well. i Also think the pvp armor obtained with the badges need extreme makeover the medium one is fine but the rest suck . i personally don’t really want this but i have a lot of friends that want a advantage over someone just because they put in more time i know this game is about skill but i feel like a little advantage might not hurt like maybe for max rank people they can buy gear with same states as exotics but have a place for runes and jewels or like 2 jewels ( they thinks you put in your accessory).
