exactly but it does not , the second i die and appear bk in tangled i press the waypoint in dragons stand , and suddenly noone is there it really sucks !!

which idiot thought of the idea to only allow so many into the map just before an event , i dont always go but when you are on the map and waiting to do the run through it , and your with others , and then you die and come back to the map and your not in the same instance !!!
its bloody annoying if your trying to do quests and achievements and then suddenly you cant because the maps suddenly empty !!
also considering there are really hardly any runs in the day , you have to wait until one has become available its frustrating !!!

sunken rations ? where do you get them from , i have done this map 3 times before on other chars and never needed sunken rations lol

i just visited the shipyard hero point in cursed shore , its the last thing i need to complete map but when i click it , it says empty and leave , and wont commune for me , yet the next person who came along it worked as normal for them , am i doing something wrong or is it generally messed up ?

what do u expect this game could be looked at , that its slowly running its course , what else is left to do on here after 2 yrs + ?? up the level ? open a map maybe ? not much else , i left for a yr and came bk and made another char from fresh , it was fun for a short time then the same reason i left in the first place , started to dawn on me , the game play is repetitive , especially if you make more than 2 chars lol , the reason the designers didnt change it , is because they either didnt want to or couldnt be bothered to , this game is like every other online game sooner or later , it runs its course and people log off and find new games or new challenges , its a shame really , that very little effort was used this time round , and nothing really new was implemented either , but im sure people will soon realise , how much little effort was put in to this event , and feel the same way and log off and look for new adventures and new games ,thats the evolution of gaming im afraid …

they were both defensive rings , but without knowledge who would have actually known ur not allowed to wear 2 the same

i bought a pink ring for my guardian after i had saved up 35 laurels , and i then waited till i had another 35 laurels to buy another , but without knowledge i bought exactly the same one , thinking i could have it next to the original one i had already bought , only to find out that ur not allowed!! , and to make things worse i cant put it on another char or break it down , can i be refunded by arenanet ,? because 35 laurels isnt easy to get tbh , i dont want to think that its gonna be stuck in my bloody store forever cos i refuse to just destroy it , and waste all them laurels and then i buy my missus a broom from gem store as i just hit the 5000 achievement point mark with the gems i get from the chest and she puts it on then it vanishes without a trace , yet it does not say one time use on the ad for it in gem store , is that a scam or am i missing sumfin ???

apart from the fact that there is a bug in the jumping puzzle which im sure others have mentioned , which is after a couple of failed attempts u end up lying flat on ur face , and still being able to move around , and not being able to ressurect urself . i have found that as a guardian doing the puzzle by the time i get to the candy bars nr the top of the tower , im down to under half life and it goes down even quicker at that point , i have been told that i need to move quicker , but to me im moving quick , yet i cannot see myself getting to the end of it , if by the candy bars im under half life , is there any other way apart from being told to move quicker ?? ( screenie below is of me flat on my face still being able to move ….

i think u need to recheck tbh , as the first jump is free , i forgot if there is a cost after the first one , but i managed to jump to at least 3 servers b4 , and didnt get charged for any , but that was a few months ago ..

unfortunatley i happened to be in the same boat a while ago , and the solution i got given was to jump onto another server , it may not be the news u want to hear , but it works ,many others have done this to , i waited a couple of weeks and then seeked advice on here and everyone gave the same answer , and also u can as easily jump bk after a week or so of completing it and carry on as u did b4

this hasnt been working for over 2 weeks on gunners hold , i reported it on here nearly 2 weeks ago and surprise surprise still nothings been done , dont hold ur breath lol , they probably busy working on re releasing last yrs xmas patch again to sort out supposed minor issues like this …

its weird some weeks or even days they are always the same as the day b4 , and maybe once a week , it may change , which isnt a bad thing cos it just means u have to re explore , but its just plain weird how it does it on ur different chars , when u do the run a few mins b4 lol , it might just be something arenanet do to stump us lol

nope im on gunners hold , and my maps i run are cursed shore malchors leap , frostgorge and southsun cove

thats what crossed my mind , but i normally do them at different times each day , and i normally do 1 char straight after another , and i have never done guesting lol

i am after resets , and most times hours after reset , not straight after lol

is it just me or has anybody else had this little puzzling issue ,
i do my ore and wood runs around my places where i get orichcalum and ancient wood , once a day to stock my bank up incase i need it at a later date , but i do them on all 4 of my chars , so i build up a nice little stash , but recently i have noticed something bizzare , i log on 1 char and do my run around and then i log on my other char and find out all the ores and woods are not in the same place as my last char whos just done it , so i have to go re explore again to refind them , on the same map i was on a few mins earlier on another char lol , and its weird cos i do this every night with all my chars , so theres no real time gap that might confuse my chars , but this is weird lol, last week this issue had never happened till now lol

has anyone noticed these in the water by owains refuge waypoint , in south shore , they are well ott in hardness lol , any reason why ?

i have played this game for nearly a year , and i first played for a couple of months , then left out of boredom and then come bk and found lots more things to do , like achievements and pvp and world v world and so on …. BUT
i have a couple of thoughts , and wish to see others opinions about it ,

1) the story completion …. is it worth it really ? ( the end prize is really not worth it) ?
2) is it me or are some parts of the game feel like they aint worth doing ?
like : the recent halloween oblisk shard thing, i did it eventually and then find out all u get is a option to click a stone and get a free skill point and a couple of cobs …

the mad king says part of the halloween , all u got was a worthless mask , that im probably sure most people have them in store and not used them ….

the overpriced amount of corns u need to get the nice items from the halloween event ( really was it worth it)
also :
is it worth getting ur proffessions to 400 , i mean by the amount of money u spend to make an item(instead of grinding it) u could of easily just bought the item out of the trading post….
and also :
does it seem that the new pink item recipes well some of them are account bound so u cant sell them , but only make for yourself , would it be better to have the option to sell , like when u make weapons and such …
also : the aether keys that u can make are they really worth it , as the info thats been gathering on the net about these is that they aint worth the time

i know some of the past events may have been alot better and some seemed it , but it seems like others like the recent ones just dont seem worthy , unless ur going for titles or achievement points only ,
this is not a moaning thread , but a constructive one to see if others feel the same …

this has not worked for nearly a week as the disks that spin and throw u onto the next platform do not work , they spin but just dont throw u , i have done part of this b4 , so i know its bugged can it be looked into plz

ty for the quick response , but i wouldnt buy the less boxier graphic version of guild wars , just to gain 50 pts , but they should also be able to remove the achievement options off a normal guild war 2 account , who have not played guild wars 1 , cos that seems a little harsh on guild wars 2 players , it seems like guild wars are hungry to make money and in the end game , they are pulling people off a better made version of a game onto a less made version , just to have to gain some points , stupid really tbh …

right i just had a little look around about this and im kind of perplexed , the option to do the achievements is available , but they are not , we can buy a stone to go there and there is nothing in there ( dont see the point of that tbh) , but it also seems that U HAVE to buy the original guild wars game and leave this game that u payed for , to go and play a beginner version of guild wars 2 ,.. i .e guild wars 1 , just to get the points on there , which could take some time to do , so that would stop u playing guild wars 2 , just to gain some points , IS there anyway that u can get all the benefits of the hall of monuments without having to waste time going out and buying a basic version of guild wars and having to play it just to gain points ?? ( or is there a cost involved that can just give u access to the hall of monuments instead ,….

im going thru the list of achievements to do to attempt to gain the 5000 points mark , but at the moment im doing explorer list and theres a few that im on that dont seem achievable :

jackaloping along

also theres other like flame and frost patch : where u cant do refugee volunteer , in historical option in achievements , also :
and also in the hero option can these be completed if u have already completed story mode :
a season of growth
bloodying the past
branching out
for the legion
from howl to silence
walking from the nightmare

i take it this is a phishing scam like what we used to get on rift and wow , hence why im ignoring it , but thought i should bring this up

exactly it seems arenanet dont listen to the mass amounts of people who did the silly thing and purchased this game on the pretense that the game would be actually worth playing , im guessing quite a few ex players or future ex players are thinking the same thing , what are arenanet playing at , because u try emailing them with ur issues and they suddenly act like they are not there , i have emailed them a couple of times regarding sissues and not once had a reply off them ……….

regardeless of the chest being account bound , obviously arenanet have put no thought into this process , look how many have commented on this thread and still yet arenanet wont do anything or have not done anything , it will eventually get to the point where people wont log on , and then its to late , and they will have only themselves to blame , they do enough updates so they claim , yet cant fix major issues like this its stupid tbh ………

i think this is getting beyond a joke , off to kill jormag on THE SERVER IM ON , and lo and behold i have to join a an overflow to kill it with about 50 others , well done arenanet round of applause , bury the server even more!!! , the overflow lasted the length of time the jormag was there till after it died , this among other things has finally put the nail in the coffin , i just wished id had the insight to see all this b4 i wasted hard earned cash on this badly put together mmo ………………….

and once u have done that u will think why did i bother , im on 3 chars at 80 at moment( with completed stories and completed maps ) , and the story line always ends up in the same place , and unlike other mmos the jobs u have like chef and jewelcrafting and so on ,are pointless on here , they are just excuses to spend spare gold and to cure boredom , as u will never really use them , as it dont seem worthwhile , this game has you really wondering whydid i bother in the end , and im gonna have a short in the dark with my next comment , and say some random over egotistical forum mod will jump on this thread and wipe my comment as well lol , which makes the forums kind of pointless as well lol

i wouldnt buy it, not the way the stability of the server is now

i have done repairs almost everyday and it seems to happen mainly in the evenings for a few hours then stops , and it also causes major constant lag outs , its getting to the point , where frustration kicks in and is tempting me to go off find another game and leave this behind , anyone else getting same issues ………

is it bugged as the main 3 spots over there have been contested for past 3 days lol and noones bothered to uncontest them , and when u do see people attempting it , they soon get over run

he error is 7:11:3:189:101 it says the game client lost connection to the server this is message im getting

anyone else having this issue , every 15 mins it just crashes out and goes bk to char selection , its been going on for past couple of hours , its only been happening today
any suggestions ?

i cant seem to get on , i keep getting the message in a grey box on my screen :

guild wars 2 had encountered an error ,

the game client is unable to gain access to the loginserver at this time ,
this is most commonly caused by firewall settings blah blah blah….

i have seen this b4 i have normally waited 5 mins and it works but its not now for some reason , anyone else had this issue ?
