had too much bad experiences with YB / SBI / GoM players. So I don’t see myself joining their community. Not even a second.

IoJ had good time there but past-Exodus it was meh

I like to see BOMB around but it’s not enough. We really lack more roaming/havoc squad guilds. All we have is the same zerg type guilds eveywhere. None really standing out.

Good place to be. I Xfered here alone 3 months ago.

The only thing that is lacking here I’d say is diversity in the WvW guilds playstyle.

It’s a trap.

the tier you are on is just about right IMO. Maybe you just need to switch server. I currently play on Devonas Rest. I like the roaming there. Even tho there is a lack of good guilds and actual roaming guild on DR. I like the tier.

Roaming guild on BG and IoJ is not the same thing. What you call a zerg for them is still considered a small roaming party.

I’d avoid this place like hell.

My 2 cents from a fellow roamer who has played on all tiers and 10 different servers.

I understand it’s more work than the usual lazy way to lower cost to xfer to bronze or some stuff that they tried countless times already….

But kitten that’d be nice for people who like competitive WvW and GvG.

Bunch of new enemies to fight. new guilds, new community.

I had this idea while playing NHL today.

I see so many complaints of servers getting kitten d by other servers with twice their number.

They should make some kind of Fantasy draft. They have to reset every server population to 0. Then all players choose like 3 servers they wish to be put on.

Then anet will see which server will be most stacked then they can decided that too many players of certain guilds want to go there. let’s put this whole guild on X server.

Pretty much a big reset. At this point they should also change the server names.

It’s just an idea I had today. What do you guys think ?

More underwater combat and Underwater keeps / sieges

I’m not talking about Roaming outside prime time. I play mostly on prime time and all I find is empty maps except for one big frickin blob. so I avoid it but then i find myself running in circles with the friends

I try to never go to EBG because its where most karma trains usually hangs but like Roe said above. Sometimes except a zerg you don’t find anything else in the BLs so you gotta try to hunt stragglers in EBG even tho most of them are not so challenging.

Any guilds rich enough to pay for Xfers? I’m poor as kitten but I worth my weight in gold and I’m a kitten Norn.

if you talk to a T1 player he will prolly tell you that 15-20 guys is a roaming/ havoc squad.

with that many player you can pretty much just spam 1 and no one will notice it.

at small scale action everybody is important.

I also usually find that lower tier server have more skilled players than higher tiers ones. High tier are too used to zerging.

DR / DH /SF are still considered Bronze league right ?

The thing i wish the most is they bring back Underwater Combat

It’s non-existant from WvW now.

instead of some useless Ruins objective they put in the middle of the map they shoulda added an Underwater keep and towers down there with Underwater sieges.

It’s nice from you guys for trying to convince me about T1 but I used to play on T1 and i really hate it there. My favourite experience from all the servers i played (yes the list is kinda long) was in Bronze. but I took a 4 month break.

when I came back my buddy told me hey i reformed the guild with all the guys on FA im like okay lets try and kitten

oh geez forget about kaineng some folks told me it was all asians and no NA

I’d be tempted to go Kaineng / ET because Xfer would be cheaper and im poor as kitten lately

but if its dead and no actibe community aint fun either.

So yeah I’m currently playing on Fort Aspenwood and it used to be okay for roaming I used to be able to meet a few good 1v1 1v2 often but now since 2 weeks we got into Tier 2 and hell man it kittenin blow

Theres no place here for solo roamers or group roamers. the smallest group you encounter are 10 mans and Obsidian Sanctum is always empty

so yeah I wanna gtfo out of there.

Any ideas of server where theres good roaming / small scale action ?

I kinda have to agree Aoko there. the video wasnt impressive but I think he only wanted to show that the build is viable for a certain playstyle.

I personally always liked the Healer Archtype in MMOs and Guardian is the closest. The idea behind running Nomad/Cleric is not to show you can kitten ppl fast. But to show you can end up winning fights you woulda not won if both players were hybrid/dps

With the new nomad set I dont need to waste points into power im tanky as kitten and I can main heal anybody

Sucks for any 1v1 situation cause you got no burst but teamed with a dps guy. You can easily take on 5-6 players.

Well looks like I wasn’t as safe as you are. I was mislead by all the other games I played where E-mail adress was enough security to get back my password.

Also used to Steam Account where they give you the Serial Number when you log in to the website. Unlike here I can log in to website but i don’t have access to any of my personal information. I think it’s a little overkill on the security here.

I have one big concern thats totally breaking the balance with Ranger VS Any other classes

It’s mainly the ’’F2’’ on keyboard ability. Which is the ‘’Pet Special Ability’’

For every other classes the skill is instant while on the ranger it almost never work cause if the pet is using another ability that you cant really control. It will take so much time. The pet will stop moving, cancel the current ability and then start casting the ability you finally want to use.

in a fight that thing last forever. let say I’m using a dog and I want to immbolize an enemy running toward me. There is no way my dog is gonna be able to stop the enemy from charging me because its not instant and require the pet to stop moving to cast it.

Very skilled, geared and active Guardian and Necro and a decent Spirit Ranger but still it’s more my roaming toon and I’m not yet as good as my 2 mains so far.

being a kitten big guild isn’t a must as long as the players are good and know to play.

Also the guild have to be laid back cause I talk a kittenin lot on TS I do troll a lot too even tho I know when to be serious but I don’t care if you are the leader or the rookie. You’ll be trolled.

so no kitten guild with officers on constant power trip.

Rangers are pretty much bottom of the list in group utility and 1v1 combat.

Well I hope to meet you guys on the field cause I don’t remember running across ANBU. Ever.

Cause so far DH didn’t impress me at all on the field except when they had their big blob to run all over us with your massive numbers.

Greatsword/Longbow is pretty much the best IMO for WvW

I agree, when you enter WvW for first time the game should suggest you a few builds to try with infos on it and whats the role of this build and some quick infos on how to play it.

You might want to think to move to Bronze league then. Here skills matter and its still active. We have groups from 5 to 60 running around but no queues. No coverage war. No lag

Some servers are getting transfers back from Gold/Silver.

Thats the first time I hear about big guilds of T1 transfering to the lower tier… all I see is tons of low server going into higher tier so they can have a chance to get rewards
