Can anyone help?
Here is the reference: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Luck, but I can’t seem to find this luck bar that the wiki is pointing to.
:(
Hi.
I haven’t played since January 2014. I remember seeing a luck bar where finding essence of luck can increase it. I don’t see it any more after HoT. I’ve looked at all the achievement tabs, my hero window, and even searching on the Internet without luck (no pun intended :P). Where has it gone? Thanks!

Good point. Thanks for the though, Mortifer!
Maximizing character slots - New account?

Disclaimer: Sorry if this has already been discussed. I have been inactive for almost 2 years and haven’t been following GW2 forums. I did a quick search + went through 3 pages of forum, but couldn’t find this topic discussed.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to buy the expansion and just create a new account? Then you would get 5 additional character slots (from the new account) instead of 1.
Thanks for replies and looking forward to the expansion!
Yeah, stupid me. >.<
I think I’m missing something. I thought the new crafting level cakitten 00, but I cannot go past 400. Do I need to do something to unlock it?

1. Does the level of salvage kit matter in extracting Essence of Luck? (In other words, would we need to mostly use Master’s Salvage Kit for salvaging now?)
2. When one consumes the Essence of Luck, is the effect permanent?
Thanks in advance.

I too have lost this mail. Help?
Thanks. How can I save for 2,000 Achievement Points?
I couldn’t find it (the search engine in this forum isn’t good enough in my opinion), but how would one redeem Achievement Points?
Thanks for the answers, Peeps. =)
wouldn’t it be a bit odd if people with 10k achievement points couldn’t get any rewards?
Don’t dailies count as new APs? If the APs are not retroactive, then people with 10k APs can only gain through dailies and monthlies and new event APs. =(
Anyways, since the APs are indeed retroactive, my discussion above is moot point. =P
Thanks, Guys. I’ll try your suggestions.
(By the way, my theory is that it’ll take the CPU longer to find data in hard disks with more storage, thereby decreasing performance, but then again, I may be wrong.)
(AP = Achievement Point)
I hope so. If not, then some players who have already achieved a lot in their characters have less chance to gain Achievement Points (for example, achieving through Jumping Puzzles). Am I correct? Is this the intention?
I re-installed GW2 on an upgraded desktop, and now I can’t even run in one line smoothly. =( Every 2 or 3 steps, the screen slows down and goes back up again. So, movement feels very choppy.
It’s not the graphics setting because it’s still doing this even in the lowest setting. I didn’t have this problem before I upgraded the computer. It’s not the network either because I have another GW2 installation on my laptop. I tested that and it ran smoothly.
Any insights/guesses? Below is some history if you want to know what I changed.
Earlier today, I figured it was a good time to change the hard disk because there were sectors with errors in it. I upgraded the hard disk from 1 TB to 2TB. I re-installed windows and re-installed GW2, installed the latest driver for my AMD/ATI Radeon GPU. Currently Windows isn’t recognizing my Audigy sound card, but I plugged my speakers to the default sound connectors from the motherboard so that I’ll have sound while I figure that out. Nothing else changed hardware-wise. I, however, got hijacked by Delta Search (some kind of search engine that’s insistent to stay with my Chrome browser). =/ I wonder if that has anything to do with this (as far as cutting into the Internet data packets that are coming into the system).
So, what do you think? Is it the new hard disk? Is it the sound card? Do I need a new network card? Should I just get all the motherboard drivers? (I probably don’t need to defragment the hard disk yet since it’s brand new….)
Help!

Lost and found items: 5 out of 6
I explored the area yesterday and didn’t find the last item. With lots of hope, I ventured out to Wayfarer Foothills today and found the area quite barren from the Living Story events and items.
I feel really demoralized to come nearly all the way only to fall short by 1 item. I did get the other rewards for decrypting messages and the sorts, but right now those don’t seem to fill the hole.
I know there were plenty of time to do all this, but I didn’t play GW2 the whole time, I came back about 3/4 of the Living Story chain and most of the time back I spent on playing my toons in exploring new areas and progressing their stories. I’ve also been on a business trip the past week and it was harder to find time to play.
I hope Arena Net would consider reappearing Lost and Found items just for another week as last hurrah so people like me can find their closure/resolution.
I also had this happened to me. We were descending up the ancient karka’s lair, I died, went back to Point Lion, proceeded to run back to the lair, then got disconnected. When I got back on, the event was over and I ended up with 0.
Please consider remembering instances for disconnection. My wife wasn’t pleased too.
Thanks!
