There have been a few times that when I press a button to move in a direction my character seems to go into a walking style motion but stand completely still and I have to press the button again to actually start moving. This has been getting more and more frequent. Please advise.
You’re welcome and as to the jet engine inside the laptop that is true. Mine does that too especially at the maw.
Just so that this may be put in the right location since it involves the game and there have been a lot of requests for this (me included), can we please have an option to lock the camera control to our mouse to make it easier on us to look up, down, and around so that I’m not constantly having to click and adjust the camera to see enemies. Also can we have an option to “use stack” when opening a large amount of bags. There are several posts I’ve seen in the suggestions area but since that has been re-visioned I’m posting it here. If anyone has something else to add please do.
Best Regards,
Do you plan on taking the laptop around to different locations or just staying at your place. If it’s never going to leave your place save the money and get a desktop. If it is going to be moving around then yes get the laptop but there is also a way to get a bigger screen (like what I do with my laptop). A simple HDMI cable and adapter to plug into the laptop and now I have a 32 inch screen which is always nice.
These are all very good suggestions and I’ll implement them into the descriptions for future runs. It’s not that I want them to adjust to me in any way but there are professions that have speed boosting abilities and they like to run off and attract enemies that the rest of us have to catch up and be rushed into helping them. Example is the random cave troll that pops out, yes one guy ran off and spawned the cave troll while the rest of us had to catch up to him and due to being rushed to save him we wiped.
I will be putting in "casual run for all levels as the story behind the dungeons is actually pretty good and I like the fact that there are new people that want to join and level their characters which is why I do the “all levels” description, again I thank all of your comments and will work more in the descriptions so the misscommunication will be brought down.
I Love how when I create a story all levels for people I’m wanting to have a fun run with the lower levels and try to help them out the best that I can. Instead I get the fast goers that just run around everywhere and make the rest of us catch up and get run over by enemies. It’s kind of frustrating, I do these runs in the story mode because I know the “all levels” specifically states that all levels are able to come in but please do not try to run the whole place when you are barely able to enter the dungeon.
Always looking for good company to play with if anyone is up for it.
My problem with the pets is that there are a select few that can actually take damage or regen health without me constantly having to mash my heal skill. I agree with the original poster on the WoW subject. Honestly without the pets the ranger class will be severally under-powered and defenseless. Every ranger class in any game comes with a pet because that is what makes the ranger class (hunter) so successful and enjoyable to play. Without my pet I would have died way too many times to count but with them there it makes it a little bit harder because YOU are not the main focus of enemies attacks. If they could add more to the skill and make it to where you can level the pet up how you want them like WoW it would make that class a little more fun and not so taxing to play.
Two words. “spell check.” I’m not the best at spelling by a long shot but at least I attempt. No offense and I’m sure your post will go over smoothly if you re-post with the correct grammar.
Best Regards
Rangers kinda suck and that is why people hate it.
The real problem with ranger is that bad rangers are way worse than a bad warrior, guardian or any other class, but a good ranger can do wonders.
I would like to second that notion because with the help of an elementalist I was able to take down the cave troll in the AC dungeon. It was a pretty intense fight but we were able to get through that and move through the dungeon.
I think they should add more quests in the areas as it seems that there is a big gap between the area quests and the story quests. Usually one would have to bounce in between the starting areas to get the experience to be able to move into the next level area without being overpowered by the enemies there. It would make it a bit easier on all of us if there were just a few extra quests in the beginning at least to get the character on their feet.
I for one have a really hard time getting anyone out of the lower levels as its really difficult to get the character to level and by the time you do you complete all the quests in the area but you’re still too low of a level to progress into the next area.
I have issues sometimes with the trading post simply not loading. It would sit there with the spinning loading symbol but nothing would happen or simply not doing anything at all. I would have to log out completely and re-open to hopefully get it to come up. Is there a way to resolve this?
These are all really good ideas and hopefully anet takes them into account and gives us an update on what they plan to do.
I really would like to have that option as well as I’m always having to adjust the camera for going up hills or going down them, when you get downed the camera has you pointing to the ground and have to adjust back to where you were originally. This would be tremendously helpful and cramp-free.
With the pointer there once the camera lock has been activated you can still make it a tab style target where you can still look around but at least be in the general area of sight for your attacks to hit. I know how frustrating it can be to have to aim at a target when there are others swarming you and would help out with the targeting system.
I know people really want first person and if the aspect of having the lock mouse pointer for the camera may seem a bit too much how about a terrain following camera so you can at least alleviate the need to constantly change the camera angle to see enemies. It would help out immensely with being able to get the jump on the enemies instead of the other way around.
Well it’s more like I’m in Waferer foothills and I have a dungeon in AC. I want to be able to join that dungeon from Waferer foothills
I would like to see that I can look for a group of a certain dungeon and when we get a group together I can be anywhere in the game and still be able to join. Having to be in that specific area is kind of a drag especially if I don’t know what area the said dungeon is in. It would be a nice touch.
Best Regards.
They really should have it to where when you find a group you can enter the “instance” from wherever you are. For example if I want to do the first dungeon in the Charr land I would like to be able to enter it from anywhere, like say Wayferer foothills.
I was thinking that there could be a feature that would follow the terrain, just so that I’m not fighting with the camera every time I go up a hill. That would help a lot with going up and down stairs so that I can see the enemies instead of adjusting the camera and then finding them. I know this is going to spark some hate but WoW did that and I loved it. It would definitely help out player like me who always are going up hills to find themselves unable to see an opponent right in front of their faces.
I just have an issue with loading the gem store or even just the trading post. It’s kind of hit and miss.
I was curious if anyone else on a mac laptop had a delay in the reaction after the two finger scroll where it thought you still had two fingers on the pad for a time, keeping your character from moving?
