It’d be harder for people to learn 2 and 3 then, though.
Some sort of way to practice would be good. Though ideally I’d rather see it given more of a real story to frame it.
Fighting a veteran version of Warden 1 alone probably wouldn’t help much, though.
I think desolation would be less crowded if there was a decent way of finding a reasonably full map other than trying to get in there.
I use “guesting” on desolation just to get into the overflows, sometimes. I can’t imagine that is intended behaviour
If there was too much reward then people would probably use up the hammers too fast, which could also be bad. But I think there’s room for something, at least. A chance of a code fragment per repair that’d give you 5-10 for a whole event’s worth or something like that.
I wish there were some Veteran versions of the wardens scattered about the map between fights – or guarding the probes, maybe. That way people could maybe get a hang of the mechanics in a lower pressure environment.
You get drops for killing stuff, but not repairing. Would be OK, but limited hammers mean you should really have some guy doing it the whole event except for the portal. So that guy ends up getting no loot. Which is pretty annoying if you are that guy, and makes it more likely that no one will choose to be that guy
2 has a problem that new or less skilled players can actively harm the attempt, by kiting it rather than taking it to mines, rather than just being of limited use. I don’t think that’s good.
3 is tough, and I’m personally bad at it, but it’s OK to have a tough one in there.
I believe you need to kill all three heads more or less at the same time.
Really? My server is never ever going to get even vaguely close

I’d worry about splinters.
Going by a quest where you disguise as a human, Sylvari bodies are quite different. “I feel mushy and unwieldy.”
