There should be no longet the question “what to change”. Instead this should be “how to change thief designer”. We can post whatever we want and we did, a lot. But it’s no use with dev like this.

Many good things has been spoken on that forum, like adding some condi to p/p or more dmg to others skills (after upcoming changes it’s still in nowhere), steal bug issue and others usefull suggestions. But instead, they gonna ruin s/p even more, both in pvp and pve and add aoe to dagger, wich for 1 target only. And that’s while others classes getting more buffs against thiefs and mesmers. So do anet really read our forum? Why they don’t speak with community on forum like developers from others games? We really need some answers.

That’s stupid. Instead of nerf something. try to buff another thing instead.

Well it’s hard to gank with mobility of ours.

Well, i’m pretty good with my power necro at solo tpvp, but for myself i prefer a condi spec. But i don’t feel useful if there is no bunker in my team, like the whole build is a waste. And ofc, everything is fine when i’m playing with mates. Am i wrong somewhere or it’s just that build?

Most of time i’m trying to play with team due to aoe and high survival. Really looking for some advice, ty.

I like s/p more than s/d because of interrupts and it’s more easy to finish off. With s/d you can only burst people and evade, it’s not that great as interrupts, high burst with whip and blind.

Actually I hate to play with p/d because of one the heaviest weakness in www – you can’t chase people. We thieves , like no one else can understand how important to run from fights where you can’t win. Just run from that thief and problem solved. Others classes should feel for us too, when you can’t beat a guy just because he’s an engi. Get used to it, because that’s how we feel since release.

What ruse i can use with hidden killer build (D/D)? Half year ago it was rune of traveler (like yishis), but i’ve been away from my lovely pc and don’t know situation after the changes. Can you advice me something? Thank you.

When i should use pistol whip? For me it seems good only after basilisk and for some situational interrupts.

I have a lot games in S/D spec and think that’s not only crap, but even boring. You said that evade has no counter, but you’r not right. Just spam condi on that thief and he will die in 2 second. Aoe works fine too. Yes, guardians easy target for that kinda thief, but thief himself much easer target for condi necro. And if you are not condi, than try to learn his frames and strike between. That’s what others do against me. For people like that i should evade very often, but that means i don’t have enough dps to kill them. And that’s why it’s boring. S/D is fine, but boring for me.

The problem is… i completely don’t know where should i start with gear. It was easy to deal with items in Heart of the Mist, but real world is a different thing.

Good sir said to me "I’m using a mix of mostly valkyrie gear (chest, legs, all accessories) and the rest is berserkers with ruby orbs added to my armor. For food, I use the omnomberry pie (66% chance to steal life and +70 Precision) and Quality Maintenance Oil.
This allows me to run with these stats:

~19k hp
2.1k Armor
3k Power
~60% crit chance
103% crit damage" " (?) Forz.1725

There is my questions:

1. Is there any starter guide? Before level 80 was easy life. Now it’s not.
2. Where can i find that gear from quote? There is a lot items with name “valkyrie” in trade post. I don’t know which particular items should i buy.
3. How much gold, laurels and karma i need?
4. Where could i farm gold as thief, if i’m noob and don’t have any friends?
5. Is there any site like “armory” in WoW? It’s hard for noob like me calculate stats, cause i don’t know anything about gear and many other things… For me, it’s easier just copy gear from someone profile.

And yeah, I was trying to google it Sorry for english again and don’t be angry at me please…

Hi there. Can anyone tell me, which gear should i buy for this build in wvw? I’m almost level 80, but still noob in pve and wvw. That build works pretty good for me in tpvp and i wanna use it in wvw. Thanks and sorry for my english.

+1 Don’t underestimate russian community. We have a lot of players who loves mmorpg, you can clearly see that on WoW experience.
