I would absolutely buy an uopgrade to extend all stacks to 500.

Although it would be great. It looks hard to do. I want a list of simple measures to improve the game.

Sanctum sprint, southsun survival or crab toss cant go in this category because there are no teams. But keg brawl, Snowball Mayhem, Dragon Ball, Aspect Arena or other team based PvP arenas could have team queues.

I love GW2 and i think is the most inovative game ever. Nº 1 since launch.
But there are some issues that I just cant understand why Anet doesnt deal with them.
Here is a shortlist of things I think Anet could deal with low effort and which would improve largely the game.
Feel free to comment/add new things.
1- Guild menu – Let guild admins see players last login
2- Commanders – Add guild commanders (only visible to guildmates)
3- Commanders – Add commander/squad menu: its so annoying having to type commands
4- Commanders – Add commander colors: just let commanders chose a color from a limited list
5- WvW- map view: on mouse hover add guild tag of the guild claiming the objective (and possibly current buffs – icons only)
6- Activities- Add group queue as well as solo queue.
7- Legendary weapons – account bound instead of soulbound
8- Ranger pets – keep names after swapping them (new)
9- Guild admin: add feature to send a message to all members (new)

I agree with maintaining speed when we are hit but maintain the current slowdown when we have at least one condition (any condition).
Same… My friends are in the dayly guild event and i cant pass the character selection screen.
Hi,
i use ALT often during the game to “push to talk” features in Team Speak and Raidcall. And I also use F4 to use skills ingame. Sometimes, I accidentaly use ALT+F4 and shut down the game.
Is there any way to disable ALT+F4 command, or at least to pop up a confirmation window before the game shuts down?

I think the dungeon could be moved to the new map.
Hi,
currently when a server conquers a WvW objective like a castle, keep or tower, one guild uses to claim it and be responsible for its upgrades. I see no problem in that.
But the thing is that usually its the same guy or the same guild spending all his money and others willing to contribute send money to the guild leader, officer or to the guild bank. Sometimes, other people from the server would like also to help upgrading the objectives to low the burden on the few guys spending all the money, sometimes even compromising their own personal objectives.
To solve this problem, I purpose a new upgrading system that allows all the players willing to help to put a small ammount of money to contribute to an upgrade. The first arriving at the spot could chose the upgrade and pay like 20% of the inital fee and the next guys could pay 5%, 10% or 20% depending on their will to help.
The upgrade would start when the first guy pays 20%, but could only be completed using resources to the percentage of the upgrade that was payed by players.
Its a simple idea that can be improved.

Gaile Gray, I think most people agrees that right click target selection is a big issue. Anet should review this asap. I think is not that hard to make the improvement and it would benefit greatly the gameplay experience.
One of the most wanted ideas. Tottally agree! Anet could use a system similar to League of Legends with multiple “trait pages”, that we could pre-define and choose whenever we want so we can effectively change roles and playstyle in PvE, WvW, and dungeons.
Agree with account bound instead of soulbound.

I think Anet would not give a direct answer to all suggestions. But i have to belive that they are reading. Keep arguing about WvW suggestions to make shore they read the posts and consider some of the best suggestions.
I dont agree with this suggestion at all.
If you are in PvE maps, you cant be attacked by enemy players, but when you enter a WvW map, you enter the battle. What would be the objective of being in a PvP WvW map but fight with other players? Turn of pvp mode to farm mobs in WvW taking the spot of someone who really wants to pvp? No thank you!
And what about the jumping puzzles? You go there in no pvp mode and farm badges for free? Or you would turn pvp mode on just to open the chests? And what about when an enemy chase you while you are in no pvp mode without knowing?
That idea is absolutely disconected to the game purpose. That a total NO! Want to PvE, go to PvE maps and dungeons.
Dude, you cant be allways online. You just gotta manage your own time.
You’re not obligated to be at all times playing in WvW. I understand the feeling of responsability, but hey, life’s what matters. There’s no problem if you lose the game one day. There are so many people in the game, why would it be all about your own responsability? The game should not stop just because you want to take a day off. Other players want to play in that particular day. Let it be as it is.

Yes, i think that EB could stay as it is, but the 3 borderlands could be different in the logic that you are defending. It is a great idea but it will require lots of work from Anet. Hope to see it implemented in the future.
I think that it would be a good idea both for pvp players and WvW players. I have some guildmates that are PvE players and feel hard times needing to kill 100 guys in WvW for PvE monthly. Also, I find some WvW guys feeling hard times needing to make dungeons in order to complete pve monthly. Rewards abour badges and prints. Why not?
Maybe the only disadvantage would be a bigger separation between PvE players and WvW players, since actually everybody need to do both for attaining the monthly. Nevertheless, as you said, maybe some PvE guys wanting to make the achievment would see that WvW is very entertaining and would like to play more WvW in the future. But stil, Anet did the same for sPvP, so it can be done for WvW. Maybe WvW could become a more important part of the game this way.
I dont necessarily agree with the idea, but maybe armor repairs could be done in WvW using badges of honor, not only when the server is outmanned.
I think that colorizing commanders text in map chat could be a good improvement to WvW and would never do anything bad for the game. Just implement the idea
I could not agree more, those are excelent ideas that would improve the gameplay without causing any harm to the game.
Also i dont understand why cant we make group invites inside WvW from guild menu. Besides, its not possible to kick anyone from a group to replace with another member. Often it is necessary to disband the party and invite the same group members again just because one guy forgets to leave group before dc. The need to type the player name to invite him to the party feels sometimes like a waste of time in the middle of a WvW battle.
Group forming and raid management should be greatly increased in WvW.

the intent of this post is not to end with zergs since they are a natural part of WvW. The post is intended to discuss guild rewards for defending claimed objectives in terms of guild recognition with 1 and guild influence with 2. Questions about diminuishing returns with army numbers is another issue and should be discused in another topic. The objective is not to end zerg activity but to increase guild activity.

currently in WvW there is much zerg activity farming in rotating schemes. Some zergs dont even conquer castles, towers or keeps, going only for supply camps, caravans and sentries, in a fast karma and xp farming system. I think that WvW purpose should be more about guilds and defending guild objectives. It would be much more interesting and funny if the game system could promote these guild activities.
Claiming a WvW objective now is only a matter of being able to purchase more upgrades (spending money almost for nothing since nobody defends) and applying guild influence based buffs, but besides showing the guild banner on the walls, that most people dont recognize, there is no profit for a guild in defending or claiming. But this is GUILD wars!
This makes people and guilds not wanting to invest money in upgrades and not even in defending a claimed objective. I even see commanders opting not to defend an objective, just to be able to conquer it after to farm faster.
So I purpose 2 things:
1- While showing map (M), display guild [tag] on claimed objectives on mouse hoover;
2- Reward a guild with a little ammount of influence for each successful defense of a claimed objective, as long as there are guild members defending the objective.
Consequences:
With 1, guild members would have an extra pride on their guild in maintaining an objective, showing all the world who they are and what they acomplished. With 2, guilds would consider defending as an extra source of influence. Both solutions would increase WvW fun and would improve greatly the role of guilds, making everything more interesting.
Zerg farming sheemes would also exist for those who want and like to do it. But it wouldnt be the only thing to do in WvW, that has so many wasted potential. People would not enter WvW and ask again: “Where is the zerg?”… They would instead ask their guild members: “where are we having fun?”.
Other consequences:
To be fair, maybe it would be a good idea to award also guild influence after a successfull conquer, when a guild claims an objective. In this case, the claiming system should be also improved as many guilds would be more eager to claim an objective. It couldn’t be only a matter of who clicks first claiming the objective. There should be a time window of about 10s or so where guilds could apply to claim the objective. The claiming guild with best participation or performance in the conquest should be the one winning (claiming) the objective.
Hope you argue constructively these ideas and keep on topic, for the best of our loved game.

I cant find a single person wanting to do arah exp for a week. Not even for path 3! And i need those shards for the legendary
How am i gonna find a whole group!? Im tired of wasting my time searching for a group.
Mostly after the prix event got nerfed, nobody goes to the map anymore. The pre-event is never done even when its not bugged. And nobody seems to care about the arah issue in Anet.
Tottally agree with this suggestion! What a great idea! Hope to see it implemented.
About the proper incentive, i think it should not be about karma. Dungeon lovers want shards for legendaries and skins. And dungeons for karma is just not the best way to get karma. Besides, Anet should not incentive this intensive grinding for shards on the same dungeon, but that’s another issue..
I think that somebody from Anet should comment this topic so players could have a glance about future developments of Arah, since almost all players which i talked to agreed about this subject and this post is a reflection of this agreement.

as i am seeing an increasing number of hacked accounts, i prupose that when there is a connection attempt from another country other than the original IP’s’ country, it is requested to introduce the unique code provided when you buy the game.
actually, this solution will not prevent all acounts from being hacked. But i think it will reduce drastically the number of hacked accounts.

I would go for the fun and I dont like skiping content to make fast runs (but i have to). But if Arah is to be the climax of dungeons, as mentioned above, Anet should not make it necessary to craft legendary weapons because its unfair to players that need for example AC or CoF shards.
If there is the need for a super hard dungeon to make dungeon fans happy, wich i agree, then dont make it’s shards necessary for the legendary.

I need to farm shards of zhaitan for my legendary and I feel allways this pain in my mind when i need to go Arah. Its just insane! Its not funny at all and it feels like a waste of time. If only there were some cool rewards but not. Like when you kill the freakin Giganticus Lupicus and he drops a white normal item, you open the chest and get 3 blues cammon!! At least one yellow?! And its not a little bit of karma that will make players wanting to make the dungeon that takes so much time.
And of corse there are some guides to make the dungeon faster. But all of them tell us to avoid this monster here and there. Use invisibility, smoke fieds or whatever. Wouldn’t it be funnier if you could do the dungeon killing all the mobs in 30-40 minutes or so? What kind of strategies are these? Arah must decrease in dificulty/time needed to complete.
It is just unfair comparing to those players that need shards from these fast dungeons that you can complete in 15 or 20 minutes. Arah takes at least 50 minutes in the easyest path! It is to much!
If thiefs were not OP, this post would never be created.
Also, if someone can enter a match without at least 50% thiefs, i’ll give you a free candy.

Hi all,
i think that the rating system is not working because there is little change to a server position based on previous week acomplishements. People are often arguing that servers are unbalanced and that they keep fighting the same servers.
I dont know how the rating value is calculated but maybe the calculation method could be improved or another system could be used to manage the ups and downs. Think of this Anet.
