I like the idea. But it would change the game completly.

because you kill one means you won more or less the round.

So you mean like RA from GW1? I think that worked out pretty well.
Would love to see RA come back.

Sounds interesting, but do you have a sPvP version of the build? Which amulet is the best choice for this? There is not that much variety in sPvP stats.

I think they do a really good job with the update process.

10-20 minutes of errors isn’t that much. After this it installed the patch in 5 minutes.
I can wait for so long.

If you don’t like to play them, maybe find the story parts on Youtube? That way you don’t have to pay / play the stories but you’re still up to date on the story before you play the final part.

Sure, you’re right. But I can’t put myself really into the story, and I don’t like the PvE aspect to much in this game. For a good story I’d rather read a book. (My opinion)

But in this case I just want to see the final boss battle (if it has one).

Short question to you guys:

I didn’t play the Living Story Season 2. My question is, can I play this last episode without completing the previous five episodes?

You do really good damage, while being also a little tanky.

In this build you can easily blast your waterfields for a good amount of healing.

I recently swtiched to a staff elementalist from my thief in sPvP. I played the standard 0/0/2/6/6 build, but I found it quite boring. A week ago I saw this post and tried the build.

It is awesome!

Thank you very much for your effort you put in this build. I really like it and I try to tweak it around a little bit, just for my preferences.

If your house is missing a roof and you ask others what to do you are really lacking. You fix what you can, maybe ask for quotes for cost of repairs, you do not in any way wander around asking what to do.
Ask for constructive, several are. It does not mean it will get into the game. Huge number are not in any way constructive to the game. Many things have gone into the game due to what is in forums, they have said so, you can see for yourself if you look.

On another note, I was reading the comments on the massively site and saw this wonderfull comment from the user “Vespero”:

No offense Arenanet, but this post (in my opinion) describes exactly how you guys handle the game. This communtiy gave you really long and constructive posts over the year, but they never seem to get your attention.

I have some playtime in WvW on my thief. Now I want to try my 80 Ele in Wvw. I’d like to play with stuff, cause I like the positioning play the staff brings with all those fields.

Usually I don’t go with the zerg. I prefer small scale or roaming.

I see why some would take Vigorous Recovery but Descent of Shadows is really usefull in WvW I think.

I replaced the runes with Pack.
Also did I replace the food.

Don’t want to be rude, but don’t use social media platforms.

But I would try the de-/activating thingy, to be really sure I would delete the account.

I’m really sure about the utilitys and traits but have problems to determine the gear.

What is the best gear combination for a S/D roamer / small group gameplay?
What about food and runes?

I only can afford ascended trinkets.

I don’t have problems with rare items. But rare items should drop from boss chests or something “epic”. And not “farm gold to buy keys to open chests and then there may be a skin.”

You are right, people will complain. But they should sell the skins for a fixed price on the TP. It can’t be, that players spend money for hundreds of keys and don’t get a skin.

I have an other question about WvW loot: Can we get dyes from other invaders?

Looks good. I try this, but I can’t use food and orbs since I play sPvP.

How can you crit with this build for 4’000? I run a Berserker + Scholar set and I crit with the 3rd attack only for 2’500.

The swiftness is awesome. But I think I’ll stay to the Shadow Arts because of the healing power when stealthed.

At the moment I think it’s better to skill in raw damage as in condition for this build.
And you skill in condition and only have caltrops which stacks bleed?

I’m really in S/D combination vor sPvP. I tried a lot various builds, but I’m not happy about the outcome.

I run 10/30/30/0/0

10 because of “Mug”.
30 in Critical Strikes because of the “Executioner”
and 30 in Shadow Arts because I love the stealth mechanic.

I use the Scholar runes and Berserker amulet.

I have about 14’000 live, and I think this needs a little bit of improvement.
But I also think that I need the damage output from the runes and the amulet.

Could you share your S/D build with me, or do you have some hints for me?
