People, kitten happens. Environments are not always 100% the same (even when they are supposed to be). The project I just came off of had 4 environments, including prod (dev, test, prod like (supposed to be an exact duplicate of prod down to the data), and prod). There were several releases where everything tested perfectly in test and prod like, then hit prod and went to kitten. And our QA’s had 100s of test scenarios, including regression. Gotta love development….

You are so right, this whole none QA thing is getting old. I cant even imagine how Anet missed many of these bugs when they are seen within seconds after logging in.

The main problem i see with thieves is that they have too much options for resetting a fight. It’s to rewarding to fight with blinds, shadow step and perma stealth.
That should have been reworked a long time ago.

Another problem which isn’t that big but still annoying is the option to gain stealth by hitting walls and that makes thief hunting inside towers or keeps pretty boring.

PU Mesmers are stupidly op for 1v1 atm, especially with perplexity runes.

Well according to all mesmers on the forum they are just fine. Slighty underpowered if you ask them :P

You are quite right to say this. They made a solution for Pve, so perhaps they will also for wvw. I dont see how right now though.

I love when people reply to these type of threads it always sounds like you should have infinite dodges and condition cleanses. Btw a lot of conditions are instant or near instant cast or even from sigils and runes, you can’t dodge what you don’t see coming unless you’re randomly dodging.

Conditions can be stacked and restacked far more easily than it can be cleared, and also not every class has equal access to condition cleanses or how much than can be cleared, that was suppose to be part of the balance, but no such thing as balance in this game.

P.S Burning is still too stronk.

Burning is too strong yes, but the rest of the condis seem fine.

We didnot dispell the myth, there is noway that Spanish people im my time zone play from 24:00 till 4 or 5. These people have jobs too you know. There is no weird time the Spanish play games like it’s some kind of national agreement. They play the same as the rest of europe, there is just not many of them playing.

If the determined population levels truly reflect actual WvW server population fairly well, this could be a tremendous change. Having lower (not free, but lower) transfer costs to lower population servers offers a tremendous incentive to players and guilds looking to transfer to transfer down, not up. This has the potential to significantly even out populations across servers over time. It’s not a panacea, but it could go a long way toward fixing problems with population balance.

Perhaps but who would those guilds fight? It’s so kitten empty on the low tier that I would not go there even if it was free.

Well would be nice to see it work against something else than golems :/

Weapon swap is something I was looking for in this game for a long time. Weapon sets and being able to change to them outside of combat is a great addition to the game.

The fact a server placed 6 places lower than BB can kick the snot our of BB during the whole day untill the mexican hordes come online. And that is way passed midnigth so EU people are not online by then. That and that alone is the only reason BB is in the top ten.

I know it is somewhat ktrainy, but on riverside we still managed to get several waypoints in stonemist, held the waypoint all week long in the mf eb, all that stuff. We even managed to get 3 wp in homelands. And not just building at night, also during the day. So it’s not just the even, the reason you have no fun in WvW this week, is becasue you are whining, that things can change. Ist it really so bad, that they want to spice it up. That they want to change it. Yes, i hardflamed anet at the start of the event too, i hated it with all my heart. But now, at the end of the week i have to say it was a perfect training in defending keeps and stuff!

And btw, if you dont play you should really not flame the event, cause then you dont know it and have nothing to say to it.

The things you described are valid for all other servers but not as much for BB. Without the US region players BB would be lowest tier, if not complete bottom.

Youre wrong. These people are in baruch cause we paid them. Mexican army has been in baruch since the start of the game, but we manage to include argentinian and chilenean ones also. Then we recently managed to embrace to come a lot of people from different countrie. They were all playing in a dead server in NA, so the idea of baruch was quite interesting for them.

Also, you may think baruch is boring to play against, but the truth is all rest of servers are boring, full okittenward people who play during lunch and dinner and go to sleep at 10pm. What snoring lives you have!!

Nothing to do with the topic but half you guild is abusing the golem buff bug btw. But no bug abuse is snoring too I guess?

Yesterday evening I gave it another go. Only to find out about 50% of the players from other servers are running around with the still not fixed buff bug.

I would be surprised if there is one EU player on the whole server., It’s the most boring server to fight against as a EU server.
During the EU daytime there is no-one on the server, and at night the spanish american start playing. So shouldnt this one be in the US matchup?

It was a legit festival in GW1. I dont know the origins of it but it was a true event.

Its only pointless because most of your server has given up trying or is out there k-training themselves. If anything there are not many fights this week at all but if you defend and upgrade your stuff you ruin the k-trainers fun by stopping them from doing what they want to do.

I defend our keep reset night with one other person. The group we were defending ran up to the gate and built a bunch of alphas. I tossed an omega and so did the other player. Guess what? We broke all there alphas when they got into lords room and we saved our keep. Pointless to defend you say?

Thing is no one is even trying anymore and most are here saying its pointless to do so. Use your golems to defend if you have to or build balis and watch them go BOOM. Yes it is not as much fun as before this event but there are still ways to try and make it fun.. Of course if you give up and think its pointless well you won’t have much fun..

What part of the I-dont-like-golems dont you understand exactly? I hate them, I never used them and I never will. They were poison before this event and this specific event has only got me to hate them even more. I want to fight not sit in a stupid siege mobile.

So Anet people abusing your 100% damage bug are getting banned right? Because abusing a bug is considered cheating if I am correct.

I found ranger to be the easiest. But that was before all the trait changes I could just unlock the signet very fast and have the movment speed. Ranger is also a good class you can do higher than yourself hearts quite easy with because of your 2 tanky pets.

You can’t compare one skill between professions. Following your logic mesmer should get something similar to backstab when they attack from stealth because, well, thiefs got backstab.

The baqckstab is just something that thiefs have because their stealth takes way more risk, it’s basicly the main thing about the thief. Their skills have high risk high damage. And right now mesmer has high damage no risk nuking from orbit.

BV should perhaps get a nice stack of poison applied. Would 10 stacks of poison be too much

Excluding the exploits, I thought it was lots of fun for the weekend, but I agree that a week is just too long. Nobody bothers defending or upgrading because within 10 mins, a group of 5 – 10 golems just rolls in and stomps the Lord into the ground. Golem vs Golem fights also aren’t as fun as one might have thought; there’s little in the way of strategy or tactics. It just comes down to “who has more golems?”

That said, I made quite a bit of money on the first day converting my stockpile of Badges to Golem blueprints and upgrading them to Omegas for sale.

10 minutes? with 10 golems it should only take 10 seconds to stomp a gate.

Condi thief got buffed a little bit with traps but other than that they are more if the same
Power thief got nice buff of dmg modifiers
Evade thief pretty much in the same spot

Thus it may seem Mesmer got huge buffed
Where actually they have needed them to be par with other classes

Where did condi thiefs got buffed? They still do not have the most powerfull condi in the game right now, burning afaik? Condi thief is mostly bleeding/poison is it not?
