Alright, so why isn’t there simply an option to connect to the NA/EU servers in the game launcher, without carrying over the data from the other server? There’s really no need to copy data to both servers all the time if both are handled seperately.

.. in WvW nor guest on those servers: why can’t we create new chars there, if we want to play with friends from overseas, but not abandon our home server?

Small guilds don’t need a “guild hall”, but they surely need a “guild home”. Anyone caring to bet if they will get one when the halls arrive?

People who care about the game and are not happy about the current course want it to be more enjoyable again. It’s not exactly rocket science.

I wonder what happened to that, since I want to visit friends on another server, but don’t want to completely change my server (and maybe get a “Server full” message on my way back – Is this still planned? If so, when can we expect it?

ANet should really go deep into theese things that are causing the “empty PVE”, dungeons madness, etc… And put effort to make an major patch and try to fix and change everything what is needed to put this game back to it’s golden days!

I don’t know, having a lot of threads feel so separate and disjointed. I’ve said this in a previous post but if you want impact you need a unified front, a single thread spanning pages is a lot more impactful then several smaller threads. Combining and unifying the discussion into a single stream also makes it easier for people reading (preferably ANet staff) to get a simple grasp of what’s going on, as opposed to having to read several smaller threads and piece them all together to get the big picture.

Yeah, pretty much gave up on ever getting a Legendary as a leisure time player. Meaning, pretty much gave up playing alltogether.

One-Time events are awesome, the only thing needed is a better solution for bringing them to all timezones.

I’d say they just put in a loot table named “Exotics, named” or something, so everyone has a chance to get a precursor. I didn’t get one, but I still think it’s awesome for the peeps who got theirs, so I honestly can’t understand why people are that upset about it ^^

The spear is awesome, go craft it! It’s for sure more unique than yet another Twilight.

Edit: Also, Anet doesn’t make the prices, the players do. So how would this be a troll from Arenanet?

just had an idea what the compensation should be. everyone who couldnt get the chest should be mailed a box that they can open that has the same loot table as the chest in the event, the box will be account bound of course

I wonder if it’s actually possible for Anet to make a proper difference between

- characters who already did the event completely + reward
- characters who already did the event but got no reward
- characters who got disconnected w/o reward
- characters who just quit due to annoying lags w/o reward
- characters who didn’t attend to the event at all
- characters who were in the area, but didn’t participate

etc etc.

Just in case they can’t, what would be the most obvious solution? Do it like on Halloween, give the stuff out to everyone again. But then people will still be angry over other players who already got the initial reward and will get another one now.

Same here, first time i join in for the karka event at Southsun and played for over 2 hours, finally finished (enduring much lag) went to open chest and… had a brief moment of seeing nice exotic stuff, and before i could accept the loot, i got d/ced

As my opinion, I sincerely suggest that ROLL BACK all Precursor/Gold from Precursor which players got in the events. This is the only way to fan out the flame.

And no, I didn’t get a precursor, but I got a Super Whatsitcalledbeam Alpha, which I really like (even if I’m using bows usually, but I’m Asura!) and some random gloves that sell for about 90s. Congrats to everyone who got their prec, and even more so if you actually got the one you wanted!

edit for clarification, I’m of course not trying to mock the people with legit problems, like disconnects etc – that’s a valid reason to be angry.

From the Wiki: Subdirector Blingg’s objective is to “intimidate Subdirector Noll.” Noll means head or top of head. I think we all know what Blingg means. The word intimidate is nowhere else in the wiki, except to describe the cripple ability of some ranger pets.

Googled 4373 and find that it is a reference to a MS security error relating to remote attacks, and also assigned to a software vulernability code that allowed attackers to execute arbitrary code.

Easter eggs are usually for fun! These…not so much.

whoo all the negative auras, seriously those +2 stats on ascended rings vs exotic rings won’t make a HUGE difference. and even if the +2 stats applied to all gear slots which will make 14*2 = +28 stats vs dodge or die (PVE) or zerg vs zerg (WvW) = gamebreaking?

Again, it’s not just about the stats, it’s about the addition of a “you need X to be able to do Y to get Z” system as well.

I find it absolutely hilarious that people are crying over this new tier of items when it adds +2 to stats over Exotics. Yes people that is +2 in stats!

That is far from making Exotics inferior to the new armor tier… +2 in stats x6 armor pieces for a total of +12 is still a far cry from making Exotics no longer viable…

1) You have no idea how the actual armor (as in, damage migitation) value will turn out. See the giant math post above for guesswork.

2) Also, it’s not mainly about the plus 2 to whatever, it’s about the fact that you NEED this complete set of 8 (or more) items plus 8 (or more) infusions to be able to progress in the new dungeon. You can’t use “skill” to move forward. You will need to get that set to do it.

3) As Anet said, it’s “the beginning” of their new item progress system. So only god knows what you will need to farm in order to enter the next dungeon to follow this one.

I just realized the thing I hate the most is the “This is just the beginning” part. Does this mean the new dungeon coming in February will need double the Agony resistance, which can be obtained by getting a set out of Level 30 of november’s dungeon?
A completely new “horror” resistance we have to farm from the new dungeon? Oh man, this might go terribly, terribly wrong
