Since HoT launch, I have a good impression of my matchmaking, games are mostly fair, but my few last games looked like this – look at the picture.
What did I do to get this game? Despite this score, I haven’t lose a single pip, which leads me to a question- what where the chances of winning?
I understand that the system tries to lower my win/lose ratio to 50% but does it really have to mean such imbalanced and extremely unfun matches?
Wouldn’t it be better to have at least hope to win?
Note : Only 2 guys from opposite team were a party and we were all pug

Can’t log in to the game, almsot impossible to log in to forum, submitted a ticket. Yesterday I could play normally and today my friends still can, but I can’t. Why? :C
Please, take a serious look at our problems, it all started when the patch went live.

We could have won this game, but thanks the bugs we had no chances. It is a serious gamebreaking issue that needs to be looked at. Imagine that happens during WTS. I do want to see this.

I think they might have an impact – I suppose at first people will be learning thier subclasses and after some time new meta builds may form, as one or maybe 2 of the spec can turn out to be OP or be more useful then others in the stronghold in fulfilling their roles.
I rarely have exotic drops, but today I luckily got from CoF 2 rares and and exotic worth 60g
PoI have never been about giving us a bunch of new information. It is about showing us what we have already learned from other sources.
This was a PoI specifically for Masteries, so I find it very wierd that you would expect them to talk about specializations or the Revenant.
Agreed, I have probably overhyped myself. Yet I find it suprising that PoI is not meant to give us any new information. I don’t see why would anyone watch it then – if it showed more, more! of the gameplay and give us more detailed info, it would obviously attract more viewers. In my opinion, the key to make PoI more popular and successuful is to enhance it, as I already said, with exclusive information.
I was really enthusiatic about this new episode. I thought anet learned from their mistakes and would let us dive more deeply into HoT gameplay, but actually except from numerous mushroom jumps and gliding (which was pretty cool tho, but the fails…) we learned almost nothing – we did know about gliding, mushrooms and masteries.
I was hoping to see new weapons and specialisations or to learn how revenant gameplay looks like-really, anything, I know expac isn’t finished yet but telling us anything or showing us anything to make us hype is good for the hype train. Sadly, none of those appeared.
On the other hand, I enjoy watching Rubi telling us about new stuff and showing fanart and I know she puts alot of heart into it, but personally I would love PoI to become more spectacular – to contain more action, more news, maybe something from behind the scenes.
To sum up – Rubi, make PoI greater. I apreciate your hard work but I know you can do alot better. Still looking forward to another PoIs!!!

Sadly, hate speech happens very often, especially if your team is losing. Many players cannot accept this and just start to blame others for the score (most of the time this isn’t just your or their fault, but the comp. or startegy). A nice way to avoid everything unpleasant – right after the game begins, just swap the chat to the combat window. Problem solved!
As far as I recall, there are ascendant Nomad trinkets – they are rewards for completing Season 2 achievements (like Dragon’s Reach)

I was trying to find out what it means, unsuccessfully though. Does any of you know what this fancy asura phrase mean?
I did it solo on first attempt, without any problems. Just stood on the edge of a cliff and dps’ed all minions.
After last patch we are no longer able to see other players’ ranks after finished match. We could have seen them however when spectating, for example in 1vs1 arenas. Now this option is gone too. Anyone else feeling that people who are high-ranked should get an option to boast a little bit? (except for titles and finishers of course)
They’ll be adding AI to NPCs so they can advertise gem sales.
Now NPC will follow us to battle shouting what is new and how much gold you can get for 800 gems.

I noticed several times during tournaments, that golem just stands next to me and does not attack my target. Can we hope for a hotfix, this issue is important for me as a condimancer.

Just to clear up:
Stone Heart [ELE] – You cannot be critically hit when attuned to earth.
Hidden Killer [THIEF] – Gain bonus critical-hit chance while in stealth. Critical Chance increase: 100%
Sigil of Intelligence - Your next attack after swapping to this weapon while in combat has a 100% critical chance.
Imagine a situation when thief, traited with Hidden Killer / active Sigil of Intelligence backstabs elementalist, that is using Stone Heart. What happens then?
This issue is important, because if crit chance that is over 100% negates Stone Heart, upcoming bunker ele will be exposed to great danger.
What do you think of it?

As someone metioned before – he explored map and received gifts, but his last poi was NOT in LA. So it would be great if you could make it and give us a feedback if it really works – lot of players concerned of this bug will know if there is point of finishing map successfully.

we all know there is a problem with warriors. Since they got massively buffed, there is no tournament match without them. With their stances, condi removal and eternal stability, they became a core of each team.
In solo que, it’s normal thing to have 3 or 4 warriors on each team. Great results with hardly any efford.
On the other hand, warriors aren’t that difficult to duel, if you know how to do it properly.
The problem is when it comes to teamfight against, let’s say, bunker guardian and 2 hambows and you bring no stability. Of course it’s a l2p issue, but there is no way to avoid huge cc and aoe dmg mixed with lots of invulerabilities. This is not fun any more. Playing warrior is very easy. But talking about balance you can find in other threads.
Let’s get back to main problem.
Comparing the usefulness (for example) of elementalist and warrior in tournaments, everyone knows, that even experienced ele players has to work alot (find out combos, think of working builds) to equal warriors. But warriors will anyway be above. For example – invulnerability skill – ele: mist form – 3 seconds, locks skills. warrior: endure pain – 5 seconds, no skill lock. Why? I just don’t know. Sometimes it is a l2p problem, but we all would prefer to have 3 warriors in team over 3 elementalists. Better HP, dmg, cc, movement, armor. Just meh.
As I said before, playing warrior is very easy. Too easy. They are carrying the team and facerolling everyone. That’s not Guild Wars I used to know. It’s not funny trying to desperately avoid CC chain while they stand in the middle of capture point and smile. I remember teams with almost all classes on, and thinking of the tactics to win the match. Now it’s somewhere lost. Warriors for a long time were weak, but that what anet did is a joke.
I don’t even try to convince anyone to change the balance, because it just won’t happen. Anet is hurting itself. Playing warrior is boring. Sooner or later, warrior players will get bored and will swap to othher calsses. And when they discover that they are not as effective as warriors, they will quit the game. That’s all.
I am playing all classes. No, I didn’t master them all, but I am quite good. But as I read somewhere in the forums: Warrior state now is just disgusting and I refuse to play it. Simple.
NOTE: I am not talking about fighting warriors, because every class can beat every other. I am talking about skill input and effort to achieve success.

This idea is just brilliant! I think Anet should really read this. Improving t3 culural armors is a good way for us to get even better look, and for them to earn money. Both sides would be happy.
Of course Devs can go deeper and add various improvements to different tiers.
