So I was off on vacation for a while, now that I came back I see people talking about new classes? Is that really happening? Could someone elaborate what kind of add-on we’ll have to buy etc.? And when exactly? Thanks!

Okay so i’m looking for a build of any profession with which i could kill a turret engi, but here’s the thing, i’m not looking for a broken op build like turret engi is it self, i’m looking for something fun that would actually demand skill to be played with, thanks!

It has not changed that much in the time you were gone.

Curses and condi damage rule performance in that area. Build for it how you like and tweak as necessary.

i use gs/hammer and the burst is ridiculous. JI + hammer 5 guarantees kills, sometimes multiple.

really good plays, but i feel you’d be so much stronger by dropping staff and using shelter/SoR. i am also not sure how u do well without SYG with all the hambows and engies running around. but obviously it works for u.

what build you run while being gs/ham?

I’m not sure packing healing gear is going to help you all that much. I wouldn’t go over 600-800 healing power. Being able to heal yourself is nice but it’s not going to win you any fights with a Meditations build. You need to be able to burst them down. I would prioritize high critical strike chance over healing power to increase your potential for crits from Torch 4 and Focus 5, which will enable better bursts.

I’m assuming this is a solo/small group build so I won’t comment on your support potential (which is to say, you have none).

Indeed I tried to run with zerker gears, although I seemed to be very squishy! For a few days I ran with clerics and a set of great sword + hammer, I already could take 2-4 if I was with another teammate, I was wondering if 1 hand weapons set could work! Thanks for the Intel also!

Okay so I’m trying a new build for WvW basically a 1h weapon set with a tanky approach. Traits would be the following:
Zeal: ( )
Radiance: ( V )
Valor: ( I ) ( X ) (XII )
Honor: ( VI ) ( VIII ) “25” ( )
Virtues: “5” ( )
By it yes, using meditations.
Weapons would be a set of Sword and Focus + Scepter and Torch.
Using either cleric’s or sentinel’s set with any type of runes.
I would love to know your opinion guys, always remembering I’ll be roaming from 2 men to 10 men groups.

Heya so I’ve been doing only pvp in the past couple of weeks and i found a pretty decent build to match any class, im running 0/0/30/20/20 with full zerk gears using a gs and hammer, i can handle any class, even the condi mes, but when it comes to stunlock wars, i just get lost.. ive tried many builds the one that works so great against them is the spirit weapon build, weapons just thor them apart, but i find it too cheesy, so, would there be anything im missing out that could help me counter skullcrack war using a 0/0/30/20/20 gs/hammer build? Some one said at the top, 10/30/30/0/0, best DPS build you can have, I go full zerk, mainly scepter and torch, greatsword as 2nd set, full meditations trait, awesome busts, with a torch you can hit up to 9k on a thief in mists, a lot more in WvW I guess (I don’t roam WvW, should start tho). Pretty much it, when you go full zerk don’t worry being squishy, I had that fear at the beginning but the you realize that your a guardian and even in a “canon glass build” you can tank 2 players if you got talent, good luck!:)

Heya, I’ve reached 80 some time ago, had enough gold to buy my self a full set of Berserker gears, and famred enough for the CoF GS, I’m missing trinkets, all 6 of them, being 4 gold each i was wondering what would be a good place to farm them? I’m fully ready to invest a my time in it, CoF used to be a great place but with some patches, after running the 1st time for the 1 g chest, it seems pretty much useless, any suggestions?

Well I’ve been 80 for 2 weeks, now, I’ve mainly stayed in mists since I enjoyed sPvP, now I’m curious to try out WvW, I’ll still be roaming solo the build I run is 10/0/30/30/0.
My question is: What gears should I use? I heard I’ll be good with Berserker set, wanted to make sure, thanks!

The game I previously played, implied thiefs having infinite stealth, by what I mean is if you successfully got in stealth, you could stay in it for how long you want, cure all conditions, regenerate all health, and there was absolutely no QQ in that game, although here, a thief stealth’s for a few seconds and every body looses their minds, lol.

The tittle says it, I heard many people talking about nerfs on almost every class, some get fixed, any one knows for sure?

This is pathetic, as soon as some looses a 1v1 to some class they start yelling every where
omgz so op plis nurf plissss, I mean it has high stuns, and an amaizing burst, does it have teleportations? Long range skills? Long range dmg? This build is easily countered, if you actualy try learning your class I’m sure you’ll find a way to beat this build lol. For god’s love stop yelling op op plis nerf at anything that unpleases you.

What about 1v1’s?

Heya guys, I recently started PvPin with my engi and I was wondering what burst are do some decent damage against people? Right now I’m running 15/25/0/0/30 the so called Statistic Discharge build and the burst I’m using is Rifle #2 -> #3 -> #5 -> #4 and simply spamming F2/F3/F4.
So I was wondering if any of you had any sexy bursts I could start using.

Hey so as the tittle says I’m new to the thief class, what build I’m using is 30/30/0/0/10, for maximum “dps” ans running with Sword/Pistol for awesome bursts, so far it worked very well in sPvP against every class, I accept the part of squishiness I have since I love the big damage, my question would be: Is the damage worth it? AND is my build simply beginner luck and weak opponents or it could work further in my game play?

Okay so from what I got, D/D and S/D are the weapons for outstanding damage? what are the specs for both exactly? i mean the difference? the play style with skills or…? aaaaand the traits I’ve seen 2 different here but i guess the resemble.
Ohhh also, what “special skills” will I be better of with? Mostly stealth skills?

Heya guys, I know there’s a special post for that but I really couldn’t find and be sure of a build that will suite me, the tittle says I’d like to know whats the best build fore PURE damage, I don’t mind being squishy, as long as I will be able to output a big quantity of damage, also which weapon should I use with that build.
