Ok so I put the herbs in the barrel to get the daily and now the green star for the objective is gone but has not shown up anywhere else. Is this part of the story bugged?

Why do game crashes occur? I have a pretty good computer in good condition. Sometimes when I’m in WvW, my game will crash and exit. Is there anyway to prevent it?

My whole guild DC’ed for about half an hour. I can’t even log into the game at this point. Pretty sure it’s not just me.

so i pre-ordered HoT because we were told we would get to try the beta tests. i didn’t get to try the new wvw borderland. whats up with that?

So I’m not new to the game, but I have only just recently started pvp-ing. can someone help explain to me how/why the builds are supposedly different from regular pve or wvw builds? if anybody has some suggestions for a build I would welcome that too. oh and I usually play thief, its just the class I’m most comfortable with.

So I almost finished the second part of the story but when I have to remove Vorpps shield for the second time, it doesn’t appear. Seems to be bugged so I can’t finish the story quest. Its really kinda a shame that the new content doesn’t work.

because then nobody would craft them unless they were set to be soulbound on acquiring.

I think people would rather know they can eventually get one if they grind the mats rather than trying to pump 100’s of exotics into the MF for just a chance at one. In fact, I have heard many people on these forums say specifically they don’t care what it takes as long as there is an end to the road that doesn’t rely on RNG.

It won’t take 6 months to a year to grind for the mats needed to craft a precursor. And it you need that amount of money, then just grind the gold in 1-2 month and buy it.

Anet is not going to want to crash the precursor market. IIRC they even said as much, but I could be wrong about that.

Knowing that information and knowing how much precursors cost, how much gold/mats do you think it will take to craft one? 100 gold worth? Not likely.

I think people are going to be in for a big surprise on what it takes to craft a precursor. My 6 month estimation I stated was based on the OP’s idea of how long it would take him/her to grind the gold to buy one off the TP. If it takes the OP 6 months to grind the gold, I would expect it to take roughly the same time to grind the mats needed to craft one.

The precursor market is already crashed because of the super inflated prices. If you look at any precursor worth buying, the difference between the cheapest price and highest offer is always at least 100g.

what is up with this game-wide lag? when is it going to be fixed?

Aside from the rings…. I recently got a Pile of Regurgitated Armor from the three-headed wurm. These ugly pieces don’t have the stats I need for my toons. Would be nice if I could sell it because it is a rare drop. Kinda leaves a sour taste in your mouth when you get an ascended drop that is basically worthless.

Or maybe they could mix in other ascended accessories and amulets too. I know they aren’t going to do anything about it but it would make fractals more rewarding

It’s crucial to realize that you have so many because they drop very, very easily and because of that, despite the nifty pink color they just aren’t worth that much. Their vendor price tells you exactly how much they’re actually worth in terms of effort: nearly nothing.

No other slot is going to become as trivial to fill with ascended gear, so just put that out of your mind right now.

but don’t you think they should be able to be salvaged? even if you could get ectoplasm that would put them on the same status as rare drops. it would make it more worth the effort

Does anybody else have a bank full of ascended rings from fractals? What should I do with them??

I need something to do with all of them. I know they sell for 5 silver but that seems a little silly. I would suggest they make it so they can be salvaged or at least give out other ascended items besides rings.

If I cancel an item that has been posted but not yet sold, do I lose the listing fee?

Ok, so I got the dungeon master title but always struggled through Arah. I’m looking for a guild that is willing to show me some tricks and teach me this dungeon. It also would be nice knowing that my group won’t be garbage. Please pm me in game if you got a guild for me.

I finished the achievements and didn’t even get the chest. It’s probably based on luck like some kind of mystic forge.

So I completed the meta achievement for the Spring Tournament 2014. Isn’t that supposed to give you some claim tickets or something? I never got a chest, only the Mist Runner title.

I am about 100 blade shards short of being able to craft the ascended spinal back piece. I know I can acquire them from aetherblades in Gendarran Fields, EotM, and the recipe. Unfortunately, I’m out of sprockets so I can’t use the recipe anymore.

I’m just wondering, where is the best place to farm them?

I filled out a ticket, and this solution worked for me.

1 Click on the “Finder” icon located in your dock or the desktop of your computer to make “Finder” the active program in the finder menu bar.

2 Hold down the “Option” key on your keyboard while clicking “Go” in the finder menu bar. A dropdown will appear.

3 While still holding down the “Option” key, click on “Library” in the “Go” dropdown.

4 Once in the Library folder click on Application Support > Guild Wars 2

5 Move the entire Guild Wars 2 folder to the trash and then empty the trash.

grey screen came up when i clicked play. i don’t know how to resolve it. is there already a solution?

I signed on to play, and while the game was loading an error appeared (see attached screenshot) and then the game quit. If you know how it could be fixed I would greatly appreciate some advice.

A couple times I have done the events to get up the tower, I climb the tower and open the chest. I get credit towards the achievement, but no loot from the chest. Kinda disappointing.

I’ve tried multiple times to finish the TA path Forward/Up, and I keep getting stuck at the same part: Go through the whole dungeon to the nightmare tree and get wrecked by the spiders.

I’ve tried multiple strategies with all different types of groups and can hardly even dent the boss. The spiders keep coming and make the tree too difficult to reach.

Is there a solution to this? How can he be beat? Can it be fixed so that it is actually possible??? Looking for some advice.

Ok so now my computer just decided that it wants to download the patch and work like it should. Problem resolved.

I downloaded a patch earlier today. If another one just came out shortly after then it might be. However, it isn’t downloading at all. It’s just stopped.

So I was playing earlier today and then stopped. When I got back on, the app opened up, but it won’t start like normal. It looks like this (see attachment). Anybody else have this problem?

I tried to join a party to enter a dungeon. Me and everyone else are online and can chat like normal. For some unknown reason it says that everyone else is offline. When I tried to join my party in the dungeon it comes up as if I’m going in alone. Does anybody know what is going wrong? I think it says that I’m having a network connection, but I’m obviously connected or else I wouldn’t be able to be online.

I’m looking to craft myself an axe in the mystic forge, and I am looking for some suggestions of good axes. I already made a mystic battleaxe, but I am looking to make a different kind. Preferrably one with good power or magic find or something. Let me know which ones have been working for you!
