Legendary legend : Chuck Norris
Well it works in GTA V but idk how well the system would work be if implemented here.
The progenys in Metrica Providence that does the yo mama jokes.
he must have been real glass cannon I ran this build . Achieved a 17k crit on a guardian once but normally can get up to 9k-15k.
In addition, I’d like it to be unblockable like thieves’ choking gas.
Because magic ofc!
Also nobody urinates in the world of tyria..did you see any toilets around?
I find it ironic that Tyria discovered toilet paper but not toilets.
The biggest thing for me was the repetitiveness. When you have the same number of game modes for years it gets really, really, boring and people are bound to play something else.
I’ve been having some fun running this build. I’m normally able to instakill anyone that triggers the shadowtrap.
I use it when running zealot/cleric. the healing from the kit skills is bad but I use health insurance as a catalyst for other healing skills, ranging format 500-2k per tick outgoing healing
I still make berserker/assassin staff ele work. using lightning rod and arcane for cc and aoe sniping 3-5k per hit.
A bit off topic but when sharing skelk venom, does the heal scale with my healing power or the user?
After fighting him his move and abilities seems like a combination of s/p thief with mesmer-like abilities via bloodstone magic
In pve and wvw, I normally use rune of mercy with transference sigil so i can res ppl back to 85-92% with the sa traitline being complementary to the build. The shorrtbow can be good for assisting combo fields. Boon ripping/sharing used to be a good niche to have (untill herald was added in the game) using s/d.
my first setup
Just some concepts:
Ranger-Sniper(rifle/stances)
Engineer-Technician(scepter/glyphs)
Thief-Agent(focus/gadgets)
Mesmer-Spy(mh dagger/gagdets)
Elementalist-Battlemage(sword/physical)
Warrior-Tactician(staff/traps)
I normally use shadow trap for my PvP setup. Good for instant response to any foe trying to cap home.
Personally I’d say ele’s water signet. By the time it takes effect most of the damage is already done.
Despite the how unfinished it is, I do enjoy the style of underwater. Its like a combination of aerial and space combat.
The skills from the kit by itself is bad but it makes a good catalyst for other heal skills via health insurance. Running zealot stats along with cleric trinkets and rune of dwyana I’ve been healing people ranging 500-2.2k per tick along a triple water+blast combo that does 1.6k per blast. Not saying the kit is in a good spot but yeah it does lacks the ability to be efficient on its own.
Thanks for the replies. I was hoping I could use reaper of grenth for a perma-chill build or hounds of balthazar for agro tanks.
Personally, its the removal of rifled barrel and trown turrets that killed my setups, I was able to strategically set them for decent and reliable cover fire. One thought i always wanted to occur is to be able to modify/upgrade turrets at will. And the tool kit should have had compensation for the removal of auto repair like giving it an extra 5-10% repair buff and the ablility to remove condition per repair.

Well, for trebbing a smc wall it does 2% per hit. That’s the only thing I can confirm atm but you can have a telemetry of the health and damage output by enabling the show health percentage in the ui options.
I see this as yet another kitten to Mesmer. Why is ANET so quick to trash Mesmer?
and sword thieves
You can get ascended salvaging tools from fractals of the mist and get Stabilizing Matrices in return. As far as respec trinkets, I don’t think that’s possible only armor and weapons can.

70g?! Where you using exotic or ascended insignia?

If I recall doing a judicial duel against him in the human story, his attacks were of an elementalist.
Marcello DiGiacomo gets rich and famous by selling his mixtapes.
Multi-targeting option for rapid fire skills and/or duel-wielding weapon sets
Just a spitball idea but keep the adrenal health healing but revert the mechanic back to you have to conserve the f1 skill for sustain.
Is there a way to get racial abilities for revenant or is it locked out from the class? I have a lv80 human but can’t see any of the skills.
The only two things I can see to be improved;
-the attack speed/movements needs tuning. as the attack are powerful, the moves seems clunky and heavily telegraphed so it’s hard to get a decent burst against a keen eyed player or persistent aoe without using haste/quickness
-swindlers equilibrium needs rework, the perks of it sounds good but the effects of the trait isn’t very noticeable in practice.
As a die-hard glass cannon I prefer short battles.
well if you’re talking about stomping with quickness, I think they updated to where quickness no longer affects stomp speed. tried it with engi, rev, war, and thief, all the same speed from my tests.

for exploration I’d say thief. the persistent access to stealth gives you the option for passive or aggressive play.
I would make it more like WvW by replacing doorbreakers and archers for a siege depot kinda like tf2 MvM perk shop except you get the siege via supplies and you lose the siege if you die. The treb will no longer be automatically repaired. In addition to adding siege, they’ll be modified for PvP use. It would be broken if the opps were able to defend a wall 3000+ units away by spamming ac aoe. Widen the map by 5000 units to make room for more paths and buildings and make it a 8v8 or 10v10 match.
staff ele is good for aoe damage/pressure and cc
I can’t tell you which game mode engineer works best in since it’s by design a jack-of-all-trades class but I have to say engineer performs well if you need hard cc and/or maintaining vulnerability stacks.
I was think more of a contract system where players would place bounties when they died for X number of deaths. Bounty Hunters would ask an NPC for an open contract. That contract would be for a random bountied player that is online. Whenever the hunted player got near any enemy NPC guards his general location would be sent to the hunter(s).
Players that get bounties would get notoriety ranks and players that collect bounties would get fame ranks. The rank would determine the number of active contracts a hunted player could have at one time. It would also determine the number of contracts a Bounty Hunter could pursue at a time.
It could get even more interesting if the system placed bounties on players that routinely flipped camps, killed guard scouts, tagged WPs, etc.
Basically an entire system revolving around notorious players being hunted and reveling in it all on both sides.
Ah, my train of thoughts was more along the lines of gta’s bounty system.
that can work, kinda like the need/greed system in wow raids
well the only problem I see is what if multiple people killed the bounty, who claims it? More than one person attacking them causes the kill to register for the entire party.
1: buff the velocity of the balista
2: minimise skill lag
3: buff outnumbered effect
4: increase the righteous indignation timer for camps
5: have keys for seige golems to help prevent people from jacking it
The Ascolonians reclaim their province.
Asura/theif is good if you’re going condi. The potent poison has good synergy with radiation field and pain inverter aoe can add extra confusion while in stealth. If you’re going for power technobabble with basilisk venom to stunlock.
I’m not sure this is already mentioned but have items that takes infusions show which infusion type is compatible (offense, defense and utility).
I’ll admit it was underwhelming, however I normally found them useful during seige defense and backline in wvw. The arc made it possible to attack out of the line-of-sight and the consistent stability so I wouldn’t get cc’ed. Plus the 5th skill could scramble blobs.
I too miss the old skyhammer. Back when I could literally kick people out of the map using physical warrior.
tfw I teleport to the safest ally to be ressed only for them to persist aa’ing then get killed from their aggro.
I miss the old motar. Back when it was an actual motar.
