D/F is kitten anyway. Also i have seen S/F full zerker ele in wvw but very minimal numbers. Still this doesn’t change the fact Focus is not good in pvp.

Let me say this for WvW. Three cantrips or GTFO is motto.

I just love killing ele’s and engi’s with my rapid/dire/fear necro. They die whatever they do because condi spamming is too high.

Condition necro hands down.

D/F is great for 1v1 but due high cooldowns i would not recommend.

No matter what you do if you face a full condition/anti-boon necro you will probably die or run.

After you manage to hit churning earth, i stopped watching because oh those thieves…

Hmm looks like you haven’t come across the full zerker P/D thief same traits as condi but full zerk ranges wittle you down then bursts with another set usually S/D. Still a doable fight but I find P/D power w/ S/D offset the hardest thieves to fight currently.

With a honorable mention to annoying S/D evade spam 30 acro thieves put right into same boat as PU mesmers and P/D thieves.

Pretty sure I’ve fought the thief you’re talking about lol, or at least one of them.

But ya, thief beats ele with almost every weaponset. Broken stealth mechanics just give thieves too much control over the fight. Even if your build is good against the thief’s build or you are a significantly better player, they can reset the fight with stealth an unlimited amount of times until you finally make a mistake and can’t recover.

My perspective is all solo queue/hotjoin. I’ve never had a full 5-man tpvp team where I could actually rely on/vocalize with.

It only gets worse because any smart team will coordinate to blow-up the Ele first.

You can’t kill good thief with no matter how good you are. Because they have perma stealth and escape mechanisms.

I suggest go for Aura Share trait to maximize effectiveness with D/D fractal stuff.

This is the best engineer build for wvw atm. Only downside is you can’t kill condition necromancer(one knows sending conditions back) and perma-invis-broken-op-condition thief.

Roll a Warrior and go for full Berserker gear. You will very much enjoy in both dungeons and PVE stuff. You do not read any other class than warrior trust me.

Condition necros will dominate you easily with this build. Which i am using exact build with different gear but stuff is the same.

20k Hp is horrible? I figured since warriors had one of the highest starting health pools that I didnt even need to touch it. Or at least that was prior advice. Ill play around with some trinkets this morning and post back some stats, see if i cant give a little more wiggle room.

Don’t bullkitten me. It is 18ish hp or something which i could dominate you easily with any dps class. But if you listen to me and get some dire ascended trinkets it will be just fine.

My awesome roaming 0/20/10/20/20 d/d build kittened up because of water trait changes. I am seriously thinking deleting my ele and never play again.
