Story mission combat designed as raids?

If the missions are built by coders in your business that normally design for raids, please move them back to raid design and get story-tellers and general PvE designers in there. Some of these are clearly raid or fractal design “copies” or similar. Stop that practice please.

Sorry, as for those storytellers, could we get more adult dialogue instead of this tween stuff? Taimi is the only cool character. The rest often don’t even fight inside those overly convoluted, overly long story mission combat missions, but do they love to talk! Tween talk till you die. Ughhhhh!

I’m going to go on record as having a significant hard time with their design choices around combat in the season story missions. Too complicated. I got tired of the ninth try on this particular one, and sent them a support ticket. Provide a way to Skip to End after being down three times in any season story combat episode. Players can choose to continue each time they are downed or just skip it. The rewards aren’t worth kitten anyway. Not missing anything. We get it. Square root of the hypotenuse of the right triangle complications nonsense just don’t work for some people and we want to move on neatly after having had to try it three times.

Ugh, I loathe paying huge sums to find junk. I was rather surprised at the silver for a kit myself. It made me not want to buy the kit just for that alone. If we could get the kit in other ways like exploring or whatever, sure, but pure hatred of paying for junk just isn’t something I would consider.

I was experiencing a bit of light headedness after playing a bit with mounts, but hadn’t noticed it too badly until a few moments after logging off after a significant amount of riding.

On the topic of mounts, there sure are a lot of places where the mount will just stop as if blocked by something. A pebble perhaps?

Tried -repair last night. This morning my minis continue to vanish after gliding or mission/quest completion, etc.

I discovered first on my level 80 character (and now on a new character) that any mini-pet I manifest in the world vanishes from the world after gliding, after quest completions or story vignettes, etc. Basically, they are put back into my inventory. I asked in chat and people said they definitely are supposed to remain in the world after gliding, etc, but mine are disappearing. I’ve tried several minis, including one I received relating to my new character.

I put in a Support ticket.

I noticed also that the panel Hide/Visible box for minis was unchecked, and despite checking that box, it reverts after gliding or quest completions. If you happen to have any ideas, please do let me know.

Mordie fight needs redesign. Getting to a current and opening glider is too hard to do properly before you are dead. Staying aloft isn’t all that hard, but Mordie is busy doing his attack, but he can throw rocks too? We should be able to stand under the shield of any NPC ally and be ok too. Dying should NOT reset the battle; ally can revive you so you can continue with the fight where you died. Having to redo this fight over and over is NOT ok.

Modrem leyleecher is bugged.

So when do those two circles appear? Randomly? Based on something I need to be doing? All that happened was this part of the quest of a too long quest line was the leyleccher healing itself EVEN though I was never pulled into the center. The skill says to coordinate the attack—does coordinate mean simply to stand on the circle and press the skill button? Can I attack simultaneously as Aurene? Does the skill button cause Aurene to attack, and then once the skill is available again, she attacks and that’s that?

This sort of design is really bad. Clear instructions that make a regular player understand the circumstances would be awesome.

I’d pay for the expansion. The content’s worth the money. (We did after all have to in GW1) These guys need to get paid for this great stuff! :-)

They do get paid. Microtransactions are where they make the dough. I hope they do not charge for the expansion, or that it is mighty inexpensive.

PC crashing after latest level 80 content

After the latest level 80 content Season 2 updates, my computer will crash to desktop and then reboot immediately. This has happened twice during (excessively) long session play. The first time was in Glint’s Lair – got quite a long way into the lair and crash.

Happened again just now while with Caithe in the Inquest session play. A bit of the way in, and crash. In all of my prior GW2 play, I have never experienced a crash of any kind.

Cannot play GW2, so shelving it until I see some response about it on some forum or thread or news. Not damaging my equipment with your game, thanks but no thanks.
