Arcane Thievery should be on a 15 second cool down also. Since mesmer needs more ways on removing boons other than shatter, which is the most commonly one used.

When the WvW servers were experiencing heavy lag spikes I accidentally sold my Anomaly to an NPC and didn’t realize it until the next day. Customer service didn’t help…

BP has many roamers and a few small man groups that have some talent on the server, it just boils down to if you want to join them or fight them.

Free PvEer loot bags for the first couple weeks. After that its a map where you no longer have to look for fights during off hours or kill the stragglers off of zergs just to find someone outside of a blob/tower. The fact that all servers will be feeding into this maps population means no stale matchups and no ppt to draw huge zergs. Just a place for small groups/soloers to run around and play for the fights. Should be a lot of fun if roamers use this map to fight against one another away from the zergs that usually ruin fights.

It is a testing area, fulled with mobs and for the first weeks also PvErs noobs… can’t wait…

The things I really don’t like are :

1) There will be buffs/debuffs in certain areas
2) It will be a skyhammer 2
3) PvEr’s zergs will farm night and day
4) Too many mobs

Well, I will try it but I don’t hold my breath for this, we already have OS where we can have real fights against real people

1) I think they might have tone down the defensive debuffs in guarding territories but not certain about it.

2) I think its adds new skill dynamics to fights on small scale battles. The most annoying aspect to that SPVP map is the glass you can fall through, and the cliffs are fine IMO.

3) For the first LS weeks yes, but after that it would be pointless for them. Since PVD is much easier in “real” WVW.

4) I wasn’t invited to play EOTM sadly but from what I’ve seen from videos it doesn’t seem to be cluttered with PVE.

Also OS for lower tier servers is dead space, and it “doesn’t” provide real fights lmao. Open world PVP/WVW is “real” fights that don’t include a /bow.

Edge of the mist is a zone that is an overflow for WVW, not a “testing area” but some of the aspects of this zone “could” transition over to “actual” WVW realms. I think ‘cannot revive defeated players while in combat’ is the most practical change that could be made to how downed/defeated works that wouldn’t break the system in small scale fights but would still disallow larger groups from benefitting too severely from the existing mechanics.

Hard res needs to be completely removed from WvW. It essentially negates and contradicts the downstate and what it means to be defeated. It’s a game breaking oversight in the death system, since there is no penalty to being defeated because you have overwhelming numbers to be hard ressed. ZERG > skill = GG Anet

When we defended SM against an army of Dragonwagons they just charged in leaving all their omegas undefended. I counted killing over 7 omegas and a metric kitten ton of DB.

dragonbrand is hilarious, containing mostly of what i can only assume are the worst WvW players I have ever seen. I’ve done multiple 1v3+ fights against them and win almost all the time. so if anyone ever asks, “why are there never any roamers from db?” just know it’s because they can’t LOL.

So, again… if I recognize you as a good player who kind of walks the same path we do I will generally cut you some slack if we outnumber you badly or if you are fighting other people. That applies to when I’m around, but not always because as the vT guy said in the previous thread “bloodlust” can get a hold of your group.

So, yes. I have a code. I don’t expect others to follow it. So, I’m only really speaking for myself not for the rest of my group.

In hindsight I can’t recall if you were a part of the group that did or not, but that’s trivial. As you have stated it appears that only a select few have adopted these ethics you have mentioned, but it’s enlightening to know that those intentions are there.

Actually, we haven’t been attacking this mesmer at all recently, when I’m around anyway. The only time I’ve attacked them was when they were at our zone-in fighting some of us with some other BP. You can actually see this mesmer hanging around the back in one of the fights I’ve posted recently. Why? Because we had not been attacking him.

There was a time when he ported up a cliffside right next to me, I started attacking him then stopped when I saw his tag and three of us let him go his way. His thanks? Insults, of course.

I’ve also called our group off of the KoM engineer more than a few times. Do you think we don’t see you? There is one thing roamers are good at and that is panning. We know if you are near us. If you don’t get attacked it’s because I, that being me, has called it off. Now, I’m a much nicer person than my friends.

BSty will kill you unless they know you personally. They are the real killers in our group. I’m just a carebear.

Although, Alyrico is right as well. We will sometimes zerg down people who play cheese builds just as a matter of principle.

I did notice that and was astounded, but I think it was mostly because Crank’s behave. Unfortunately when I noticed he wasn’t out with you guys anymore, it went back to 2v1 to 5v1 quickly. I might be rustling some leaves with my words but that’s not my full intention.

Reviving a completed defeated enemy while in combat is a huge oversight in wvw and needs to be addressed. Like how so many others have mentioned before it will give a fighting chance to players who are either defending or trying to defeat a larger group.

So it seems that I was misreading how the tool tip worded mind wrack. I thought each clone got a higher damage, but it was as a whole the damage was greater for each clone that was used. Thanks for clearing that up for me and taking the time to explain it to me. I just think its so strange that i can get with two clones a 3900+ crits but once i add another clone in there the crits go to 2400+

its pretty easy to test isnt it? especially with IP. infact you should be seeing higher damage per clone the fewer clones you shatter.

I do see higher numbers with IP with fewer clones and that is what made me come to the forums with this topic. Is it IP that is throwing the damage off and bugging mind wrack? It seems like you know exactly what I’m talking about and I hope you can help explain this to me.

Mind wrack was ninja nerf’d, if you look at your the attack damage with mind wrack you’ll noticed it’s a flat rate damage now and doesn’t scale up with the more clones you have.
