Guild Wars 2

Good evening everybody,
Im a returning veteran player and just came back from a break. I have not yet gotten into raiding and therefore would like to get into a group or guild to do frequent raids with.
Im an experienced PvE player (a bit over 3k hours)
I main Engineer, which is fully geared in a viper condi set. I would prefer to play condi engi in the raids, but im also willing to gear and learn another class to fill gaps if needed.

Hi dear people,
Since quiet some time i fully geared my main with ascendet equipment, in order to do raids. My Guild however cant quiet clear the enemies there, because most people dont have the ressources to get there. So i am looking for an alternative guild, exclusively for frequent raiding. I am able to attend a set day and time during week reserved for raiding.

To me as a player;
I play Guild wars since Headstart, with some minor and major breaks here and there. Overall i mainly play engineer, of which i would say i am decent in playing (1.7k on this character, 2.7k overall). I only ever fought the VG, so i lack the know how, which i hope you or your guild can provide me with.
I am a fast learner, teamplayer and overall calm person. I speak and understand english, alltho its not my native language.

In game i play an engineer with viper’s equipment, using the "[DnT] DPS Engineer Build Guide For Raids " settup, with not perfected trinkets tho. I know kmy rotation fairly well and i am willing to put in time and effort to improove the raidteam.

I am a veteran pve player, back from a longer break. Id like to get into pvp. I did some pvp back when i played, but i want to practice ina team which can also give me tipps, to improove myself.
It can be a guild, or only some people who are experienced in pvp.
I am at rank 37 at the moment and i play engineer.

The “Inventor’s sunglasses” clipp very badly with my eyebrows.
I am playing a male human, and it looks just totally horrible.

I really dont see the problem. I guess i played plenty on my engineer, but i never had the feeling of beeing targeted extremely more often than anyone else. You might hate me fir saying this but imo its just a matter of practice if you can predict and dodge or negate incoming damage or if you can not. I never expirienced any problems in pve related content.

I main engineer, playing him all the time in dungeons. My opinion to this;
As someone allready mentioned, if you feel like you die to much, dont go full zerk. I dont know how you play, and what skills you use, but im sure that the class offers more than enough ways to negate damage, reduce damage, fill endurance, clear condis, break stuns, heal yourself etc.
I remember that when i switched from tankier gear to full zerk i felt extremely fragile too. Bit it really is just a matter of time until you get used to it.

Hello Guys, i am very interested in your guild.
I played pve content since Beta, so i think im pretty experienced in the game. The thing is that i am interested in pvp related content, and wvw roaming is something id like to be able to do. I am a weak pvp player, but i want to put time and effort in improoving my skills. I am looking for a Guild like yours, and im very glad that you guys play on RoF too, where i play since the beginning.

Im playing gw2 since launch and im every exp in all pve content. I recently started to play spvp, and its a lot of fun. I am currently rank 19, soon 20.
Id really much like to find a team, or a guild where i can team up with ppl. I know im new and im still learning, but since i main engineer (1k h played) and gone wvw sometimes for duels and roaming, i guess im not a noob

I dont see your problem dude. I only did a few 1v1 vs him, and he played different than the most thiefes i saw. And thats why i had to learn how he plays, to counter him. I really dont see the point of makeing fun of this :O

Few days ago ive been doing some duels in the obsidian sanctum of wvw. Suddenly there was this thief, asking me to 1v1 him. We did some duels and ive rarely lost that many times in a row to one guy. Allthough i learned how he played and was finaly able to beat him.
Now im wondering what build he was using. It was (in my opinion) a very sustained build for a thief, because ive never fought a thief for 4 Minutes without one of us dying :O
I never really played thief and this build was looking very interesting.
Is this a common pvp Build just played very good, or is this a rare build noone’s really using?
I cant really describe how he fought, because i know almost no thief skills by name and effect, but ive recorded the last fight.

Id be glad if someone could tell me what that was, i need to try this by myself

Very good idea! I also find myself explaining and helping new players out a lot. As soon as i get online i will wh/pn you. Friendly players helping new players out; sounds good ;D

Today is my best friends birthday, and we will celebrate it with a cool secret party. Im glad for every ppl who can come! We got beverages, group buff food, dances, music, firework, boxe’s of fun and lots more! Bring all your Friends, its at 22 o’clock GMT, on the Ring of Fire Server (EU). Location is above the Moran Memorial, there is a beachbar. You can see the two merchants/bartenders on the map.

This time i was to fascinated xD

So i helped out a Guildy with the Storyquest “The Artist’s Workshop” where we must infiltrate Uzolan’s Hideout.
There was this Npc, named Uzolan the Artist, he is an inventor who made the grizzwhirld for the Ringmaster, in context to assasinate Queen Jennah. He is also the one who built the Orchestra in Divinity Reach at the "Plaza for Kormir". He built a Golem, named Uzotron 7000. This Golem lays down Bomb, which explode in a cloud of confetti.

So i thought that the Bombkit could also use these kind of particle effects. The confetti would have different colors, dependig on what Kind of Bomb we used.

Bomb:
Random confetti flies around, simmilar to the footprint animation of quip, but a big bigger.
Fire Bomb:
Confetti and random coloured stripes (like quip autoattacks), and ofc leaves the ground burning, since there is a Fire field left.
Concussion Bomb:
A burst of confetti in the shape of the common explosion (like a dome)
Smoke Bomb:
a thick cloud of confetti lays in the air simulating the smoke. there are also daisys…
Glue Bomb:
This is a tricky one. I can imagine that there are swimming confetti and stuff into the glue on the ground or something

I keep dying on these three trees, and i can’t really see why. I begin to think that this is a bug, proove me wrong if you know the source of this insta death. I can’t proceed because im stuck there :/

Traherne and the whole bunch of the other NPC’s just stay at the ery beginning, after killing the first monster. Fix pleeeeeehsssseeeeee

I mainly picked Ft for the awesome cc, the knockback and the aoe blind are imo superior in 1v1 or 1v2 skirmishes in wvw. I switched this out sometimes for bombkit, since they are very useful too. The input with the gun seems cool, you are right that the eg is very strong with my stats, most the autoattack, this thing is devastating.
Would you also pick the eg for wvw roaming? Would you even think that this build works for roaming? ( never played wvw alot)

Hi Engineer’s out there,
I play Engineer a very long time, and for me it’s “my” class. I tryied out neraly every class in both pve and pvp and nothing felt as fun and good to play as the engineer. Even if im maining the Engi for quit a while, and also play pvp a lot with him, i never found out a satisfying Build for pve. I built my ninth full exo build in pve now since every time i create a build on gw2skills, it seems to be good (in theory) but if i play it a bit in dungeons and fracs, i find several things which doesnt work the way i thought a bout it. I created a build now for both pve and also wvw (gonna change some skills) and its my first hybrid engineer.I wanted to try this one out, since grenades scale well with power and condition damage, and also the Grandmastertrait of the pistol alows me to deal 2% more damage with pistol for every condition. In pve it works very well in my opinion, and its very fun to play. Now to my problem:
In my opinion there is no viable stunbreaker or condition removement for my build. Does anyone of you pro engis out there have tipps for me? How about utility googles?
In the build im using elexier r at the time, i guess it is better for pve since in wvw i would have no condition removement or stunbreak if i stay with it. Also is there anything in my build i could improove? Im glad for every criticm or tipp i can get!
