i dont know if it was organized by a guild or if it was just some guy on his own, but that guy from [RET] hiding under the map to keep that supply camp contested was pathetic.
that fight at bluewater earlier today in FA BL was epic and a lot of fun, why do you have to spoil it by using an exploit. i really hope this wasnt planned, for your sake.

i saw a guy using all the boosters once. kind of a dumb idea really, buying all or most of the boosts would cost a good amount and won’t help you much if a zerg runs you over.

guild wars 2 is an mmorpg. most games in this genre have a leveling system, which is usually half of them game. (the other half being the end-game.) if you don’t enjoy that half of the game, then don’t play it.

You could actually play WvW. You get badges a lot faster through kills than through the JP, and you can do it more than once at a time.
this, i play this game almost strictly for wvw and ive gotten at least 2k badges while only playing 2-3 nights a week. join a party. get organized. calm down and quit whining.
if you don’t enjoy certain parts of the game, maybe getting a legendary isn’t for you. and isn’t SOR a tier 1 wvw server? maybe you should switch to a lower one where more people pve.
also, i hate doing dungeons, wvw, pve, and everything else about this game. this makes it really hard for me to get my legendary. i thought there was supposed to be no grind, anet? why are you forcing me to do so many things i hate doing just so i can get my kittening unicorn-shooting bow?!?!?
and while you’re at it, nerf those kitten rocks! curse anet for burdening us with such OP demons!
honestly the major focus of this patch was nerfing rich ori farming. They made it only 3 hits and they also changed mining picks to be lvl 45. Which alot of us had stocked up on so we could farm on our lvl 7 guardian or whatever alt you had parked there. They put in new no lvl mining picks from laurel vendor tho I guess they really wanted us to all buy those

What im trying to get out of this build is a mix of survivability and DPS. The thing that kills me the most in wvw is condition damage. I use Solider runes (toughness + vitality + shouts remove conditions) and mending, so i can remove 6 conditions in fights. The small amount of healing they give is also very useful. As soon as i get a condition casted on me, i use For great Justice, then On my Mark, then Shake it off. (Mending if i need to)
I like the Hammer a lot more then the GS. I can cripple run-away thieves and smash them into the ground. The burst skill is great, knocks people off siege, interrupts, stuns and does damage.
as for the long bow, well I just use that to get hits on downed players that i wouldnt be able to get if i used a melee weapon. the combo fields are nice too, and also has an immobilize skill.
For armor, Its all PTV. My jewelry is a mix of Ruby and Coral pieces. Since my armor gives me a lot of power, i decided to go for crit chance + damage. unbuffed, my crit chance is 35. in big fights I always have fury, increasing crit chance.
I really like this build, but i’m always looking for ways to improve. the one thing i don’t like about this build are the traits in arms. I mainly spec’d into it for the precision.
OK I’ve never heard of the gates of hackers statement. Plus, if you take a look at some of the TOP servers in WVW, those are the ones that were hacking to win the early matches. Hacking = easy wins. We are second to last tier.
Yes, we have a major lack in players, however I don’t see anyone else attempting to recruit for our servers. I have posted recruitment on forums, sent private messages to players/guild leaders letting them know about what awaits them in the GOM server and how much some of us are trying to turn things around. I’ve had luck but on a smaller scale than we need.
At the end of the day, the basic aspect to take a look at is that ALL 3 of these servers are lacking in more than one way. We all need players, we all need a better fundamental WVW structure, and we all need players wanting to work FOR their server. We are all in this tier for a reason and very few of us are working our kitten off to fix it. The thought runs through my head every single day I am in WVW to transfer. That thought is quickly dismissed as I look around at my guildmates and realize that they are here for me as much as I am there for them.

its amazing. anet took so much time and worked very hard to make such a beautiful and innovative game, yet were dumb enough to make a mistake like this….
even more shocking is that it hasnt been fixed by now. WvW is so much fun. so why are you ruining this for us, anet? it is a given that many players are going to transfer over to a winning server the second their home sever is losing.
PLEASE end free server transfers!
^ I agree with Camagee, many guilds on the Gates of Madness server have transferred over to Sanctum of Ral (who completely destroyed us like week due to our lack of forces) or another winning server. It really is ruining the WvW experience for tons of people.
Why allow free character transfers in the first place, Anet? I would really like to hear the reasoning behind this from a member of the staff. It amazes me how a company who worked so hard to create such a beautiful game could make such a stupid mistake.
19 and i have no complaints. i havent played another video game since i bought gw2.
as a warrior, im always trying out new weapons and retraining my traits to fit those weapons. keeps the game feeling fresh even at level 80. right now im using hammer/longbow and i think its the most fun so far. i love being able to be the first one to jump into the enemy army wvw and knock the front line down while my guild tears them to pieces shortly after :p
i know devs are working hard on other issues with this game, but please please please fix arah events on this server!

Ive gotten one of those keys before in some lower level area… i didn’t know what it was for and it just say in my inventory for a few weeks so i just destroyed it
I’m just 2 pieces away from completing my Melandru set. I have the karma, but the temple has been bugged (along with many other events in the Cursed Shore) for over a week now… I would just switch servers to buy the armor but I’d rather not miss out on a night of WvW with my guild. Its too much fun.
Are there any plans to fix this soon?
