Modern Family, MF, Looking to add nice and fun people to our (somewhat dysfunctional) family.
We aim to have a small/medium sized guild with people to play the game with. Fractals, JP´s, acheivments, just speak up about what you want/need and we will get it done.
We have members with an interest in raiding, and currently raid with another guild due to our numbers being a bit low.
New players to very experienced and all in between are welcome and can be found in the guild.

What we offer;

- Relaxed atmosphere, no yelling when someone makes a mistake

- To be able to at least listen to us on Discord during guild activities.

I use Quip every day and it puts a smile on my face! Its one of the very few reason I have sound on. I would suggest (as others have) a choice/checkbox to enable/disable weapons and harvest tools and salvage sounds. Please dont remove my fun-gun sound!

3,5 years, 3000h and not a single one…….

I main a engineer and love the diversety it gives you. It is probably the most complex class to play. Theif is good if you know how to play it, expect to die a lot when getting the hang of it. Mesmer is really fun but dont do a lot of damage, but you can help others with quickness and portals. Rev is a cool, but a bit differente as you dont get to choose the utility skills. I recently stated to play my rev more, and its superfun as I dont go down much at all. Warrior is the class I have played least so not really much to say there, just didnt like the stule but I hear they are doing good damage and most ppl really like to play them. Modern Family (MF), a small, friendly PvE guild (some pvp+wvw is done too). Looking to add nice people to our family.
We do missions, dungeons and other stuff, new and veteran player are welcome! We have interest in raiding but not the numbers at the moment. Based on Desolation with about 30 members. Give a whisper or send a mail ingame

Engineer, Elemantalist and Warrior are Asura.
Ranger, Guardian and Necro is Norn.
Theif and Revenant is Sylvari.
Chronomancer is Human.
All girls. Ive tried to play a Charr at least 3 times.. just cant commit to them.
And I must say.. Asura in my heart

I agree that ele CAN be decent damage and still keep up, but to do an insane amout of damage then I feel squishy. But my Guild Leader is an ele and is always the last one standing. I guess it is also a matter of what you consider to be high dps.

but with engi you dont die (up to 4-5 heals in rotation) eles is very sqishy but do more dmg.

I got full tyria masteries and did 1 mastery from living story. 1.

Other thing I really like; making jumping puzzle in Guild Hall!

A lot of negativity has flown around lately. No game is perfect and everybody like and dislike different things. I create this thread to focus on positive experiences and what we do like.
I love gliding! Great feature and I love that they gave us gliding on core tyria maps as well. I also really like the idea of several levels in one map. Hidden areas with hidden achievments is alot of fun.
I also appreciate Guild Halls being so big.

What do you like and find positive since the release of HoT?

Pvp! Silverwastes track!

So here is my ideas/theories. Kralkatorrik – crystal desert – sandsurfing (equivallent to gliding). Jormag – far shiverpeaks – snowboard. Or a crazy theory, going under water with a pack on your back to get you foward and city like the one Jarjar binks from star wars is from so it is not all only water.

Yep, got the same problem! I need it for mastery insight point and my friend really want it for luminecent armor reward thing…. Need to be fixed!

Modern Family is what the guild name says, a modern family. We get to know eachother and have fun together. Welcomming people that are new as well as experienced players.

All aspects of the game is played by someone, but mostly we do pve stuff. I for example like to run the big meta events on the new maps.
Our guild hall is growing (lvl 20 as I write this) and everybody pitches in when they feel like they can.
