hey guys i was playing with no issue but somehow suddenly the game dc’d and i was unable to log in ! i just press log in but the nothing after that “stuck in loading”.
after restarting my internet and the PC i could log in but couldn’t use any skill and was getting that MSG (in attachment)
ps: my internet is fun the issue is from the game and i tried to temp disable antivirus but still not working

when i sign in the game i can chat normally but after 15 mins or so whenever i try to type any Characters it doesn’t show ! its like you’re type “space”.
however i cant type Characters only! i have no problems with numbers.

i fixed the problem and yes its as i though….virus
i scanned my whole system with Avast Anti Virus and it found 2 infected file…deleted them and now every thing is ok
even though sometime when i see my CPU usage is high but no more lagging
If you don’t have V-Sync on, your GPU is going to be pushing out as many frames as it possibly can. That’s why it’ll be running at nearly full load.
CPU wise, this game is extremely CPU intensive. It’s going to push it.
yes the V-Sync Is off and i used to play the game with no problems….im facing it since 2 days only
the problem is not from the game as i noticed because i tried battlefield 3 and the same happened !
Does this only happen in Guild Wars 2? Is it consistent, and does it persist after a restart? Does it seem to occur only when you’re in certain areas or situations in the game?
When the problem is occurring, open up Task Manager (ctrl-alt-delete) and under Processes, check the CPU column for what process is eating up all of your CPU cycles. I’m just wondering if Guild Wars 2 itself is the culprit, or if its some other background program. A screenshot of that whole, expanded list might help.

i checked the task manager and there was no other app is using cpu cycles ,i tried BATTLEFIELD 3 and yes it has the same problem so i guess its not from guild wars 2 only

i used to play the game with no problem @ all but since yesterday i had a very strange problem ,a massive lag so i checked my internet and it was fine then i noticed that the CPU usage is way too high while im in pve doing nothing and if i go to wvw it become unplayable at all the all cores reach above 90% or something .
i dont know is it maybe from the windows update or something ? i searched for my cpu update but its up to date
my specs:-
CPU:Intel Core i5-2500
GPU: Nvidia Geeforce 580
Ram: 16 gp @ 1333 Mhz

few days ago i tried to get into EB, but was put to queue. then i checked the map and i saw our side was totally wipe, green took all our towers, camps and keep, as if we have no one was there….. not long after that WvW crashed, i couldn’t get to any borderland….
totally agree….and i wonder how servers like vizunah square enter the wvw in a huge numbers….dont they suppose to get queued as well ?!!

I have a copy of the game on my external and I just tried to update it. It downloaded ~400files flawlessly but the last 20-30 files I kept getting Connection error(s) detected.retrying … and it would download the files eventually after a few retries except the last 4 files. Those files won’t download even after an hour and that means that there is an issue from ArenaNet’s side.
thats what happened to me @ the first place but when i changed the ISP the last "5"files have been downloaded finally so it kinda from ISP i guess

I have yet to find a fix but I dont believe it has anything to do with Viva (Ive called them)I think the problem is the slow downlaod speed connecting to the client. This is most likely an issue on Areanet’s side. Good luck getting in touch ith their tech support reps I’ve been trying to get them to address the issue.
i know man its something about game server or security which i dont get ! i plaly other games without any single problem !!!!
You’re not the only one..I had the same problem but when I tried a few minutes ago it started downloading ..the speed wasn’t what it used to be but that’s better than no update. So keep trying every now and then and you’ll eventually get it working. Not my idea of an mmorpg but you take what you can get these days…
yesterday i found an update for windows 7..and when it finished ,i tried to launch the game and it started to download until 5 files remaining the same problem came again =S
hey…i used to play gw2 from the beginning without any single problem but from a week ago (last Friday) when i tried to open the game launcher i found an update and start downloading…then the downloading stopped and found a message in the launcher “Connection error(s) detected.retrying …”
I’ve searched for the solution in the internet ,read all topics about the same problem and watch videos but i couldn’t fix it .
my os : windows 7 home premium x64 bit
antivirus : avast
