I miss season one style 2week update cycle, but not temp contant

I feel old BL is very big on release, and feel its small after 3 years.
Remember how hard is orr on release, and how easy now.
Player will learn how to play the game, you cannot master everything on first day.
I dont think we need to balance the game for ppl who dont even learn game mechanic after 3 years gameplay.
I got 10 mastery on the first day about 6hours just running from vb to ds and kill everything. (Bearbow solo op)
I see the future, Anet will nerf raid because lots of forum warrior QQ
I agree reduce to 250hp, but why nerf the hp difficulty.
Most of the hp become veteran, a party can zerg around the map.
Where is the challenging endgame content???
Topest VIP tier require 500+days daily achievement (6960 ap) and monthly subscription.

• Ferocious Strikes: This trait has been moved to adept tier replacing the place of Assassin’s Presence. /3) This was asked loudly because Assassin’s Presence is too good to pass on, so you’ll never take something nice like Rapid Lacerations in adept tier. Ferocious Strikes is good too but you do not always DualWield and even if, you might want to take said Rapid Laceration instead of it, and here the competition is fair.
Assassin’s Presence cannot stack. So move to master tier is bad if we have two revenant in party.
You dont need Dual sword to take effect of Ferocious Strikes. you can use sword/axe to take both effect of Vicious Lacerations and Ferocious Strikes.
I use Vicious Lacerations and Ferocious Strikes in bwe running with my friend use Assassin’s Presence and Ferocious Strikes and its optimize.
I think it better swap Ferocious Strikes and Vicious Lacerations. So we can choose self ferocity or party ferocity.
I disagree. Would that REALLY be OP? You get to move quickly in exchange for:
- Being a moving target that can’t dodge while spinning around like a fool, liable to be interrupted during a channel that is super-long.
- Having to linger in an attunement wasting time with your crappy auto-attacks
- Putting your current attunement on longer CD, foregoing all the benefits of just swapping out-They’ve added Stability to Overloading, making them tougher to Interrupt (though they might need more of it).
-Even just having out of combat 150-200% speed for roughly half the time would be a godsend in a lot of PvE/WvW situations, or for an initial push in PvP.
-Whatever else the Overload does, which they should eventually balance to be worth using it for that alone.With that change, I could see people starting a PvP match attuned to water, Overload immediately while racing out to the furthest target location, switching to Air to get whatever speedboosts you can get after that, and then bunkering down while the rest of the team catches up, having the point half-capped before any non-Tempests from the other team could reach you.
Movement speed cap at 400u/s and we have 300u/s ooc cap at 133%, so no difference between Swiftness and Super Speed when ooc .
In combat, we need 50%+swiftness to max the movement speed.(see thief)
Maybe super speed is OP, but 50% movement is good. you need to maintain your swiftness and camp 5sec for overload to reach the max.

any chance to switch Nefarious Momentum and Vicious Lacerations?
You nerf sword because we cant get both sword trait.
These are no choose between 10% damage / 10% critical damage.
Speedy Conduit – increase 50%~100% movement speed during overload is better than swiftness which is almost 90% uptime.
But why give something NEW when you can just give more of the same things ele already does without tempest?
I do agree tempest need something more.
But tempest need trait to help positioning since you cant dodge in overload.
Give super speed is a good choice to avoid kited and aoe damage.
I dont know why they spread Speedy Conduit and Hardy Conduit into two minor.
These two are same purpose, give boon when overload should be combine.
Give us a new minor that is tempest need. Front line suitability,increase vitality,heal effectiveness or whatever.

how can you represent ALL wvw player?
i dont think zerg around the map is fun, old map do not have objective to fight each other.
if you want to fight, do gvg.
Three years ago, lots of people rushing 80 in 3 days headstart and quit.
Same, people will rush all mastery and quit in a week after HOT release.
Enjoy the game. You will get all mastery sometime. The amount of exp is not impossible.

I felt bored in this beta.
bwe1 was fun and i need to play careful and focus on every mob. And those mob are fair same difficult, no crazy scaling.
bwe2 i can dreaming around and auto attack all the way through. The only challenging is Champion, but too crazy. The most impressive is the Barrage on NE, everyone got one hit kill.
I think easy mob are too easy, hard mob are too hard in this beta.
About 15 level.
Thats why i dont loot anything in beta.
And you can swap character before getting reward chest.
Overload:
fire – Good ,High damage and might stacking combo with Heat Sync is great.
water – Bad ,heal less than swap to water every 9s and easy interrupt. I see no reason to overload water. You are dead when you camp in water for 5s. Need big impact such as aoe wave push back or 50~100% heal depend on range.
air – Good , but can be better. Could it work like meteor shower provide large aoe damage?
earth – Good, breakbar is great. But immobilize always got clean, could add 1 bleed per plus to avoid condi cleansing and a bit offensive.
Arah request lvl80 people. Full stop. Block them and keep them out until they level to 80.
Raid is design for endgame content. You should done most of the endgmae stuff and well prepare your class before get into raid.
“lot of PvPers” you said is lot of ppl who want to play all content but dont want to put effort into it.
Real PvPer only play PvP, Raid is PvE and fighting stupid AI.
Every PvPer should have 80 exotic gear and you dont really need ascended gear for raid, the difference is less than 5%.
Build locking is not limit your role or play style, it allow you to play difference build and difference role at difference attempt.
Currently, everyone running same optimized build and swap on every fight, everyone are meta and clone.
If build is unlocking, everyone will swap to condi build on condi counter, tanky build on tanky counter, its not fun.
You are not doing raid once but weekly doing same thing same strategy.
But yeah, i dont think anet will change it because if you want build locking you can just play with your friends and dont swap your build then.
PVP is a separate game mode, there is a high possibility some PVPers don’t even touch PVE, that’s why they get some rewards. But you can’t get dungeon skins in any other way, just the dungeon tokens (for PVE players). Adding an option for PVP players to get the new legendary armor would be nice I guess, it just needs to be something that
1) has absolutely nothing to do with PVP reward tracks or
2) if they use the tracks, stop giving track progress in custom arenas (so no farming)
Other than that yes PVPers should get access to Legendary Armor by playing their game mode of preference.So this is what I’m saying. There should not be only one way to get a legendary armor. Incorrect force players to go to the raid if they do not want to do that. Incorrect make raids as a huge part of the gameplay. It is a way back.
Legendary armor is not necessary for your gameplay, just a skin, nothing special.
Not legendary force you to the raid, but you force yourself to the legendary.
If you want special, go learn it, go do it, then you get reward, it’s fair trade.
Btw I believe anet will add legendary armor in pvp league someday and ppl will complain about it.

I don’t get all this QQing. Even an experiended Ele as WP says that ele is already in a great place. If Tempest ends up being a support-oriented alternative, I don’t see any problem here.
You can’t have everything.
Give one or two stack stability is reasonable, overload is big target and too easy to interrupt in beta.
Overload recharge faster trait is the suitable one to replace since the idea of overload is sacrifice attunement cooldown for powerful and big impact skill.
Arcane can reduce the cooldown already, we dont need double recharge.

Eles don’t really need another melee set. The class needs a weapon with both range and melee. If you get a full melee oriented weapon skill set with sword, you’ll just complain about lack of range versatility due to lack of weapon swap and skill design in general.

It is a good idea and would worthy with the legendary price.
For now, legendary account bound and select stats lets us swap the legendary to other character or from zerker to tanky, BUT some build was bound to the sigil and we not able to swap unless we buy the new sigil every time.
This change make legendary much more convenient and attractive.
For economic problem, I believe small percentage player with legendary wont affect much. Also the solution could be you need to buy the sigil once to unlock on each legendary, like unlock skin on wardrobe.
